Casey Chesnutt Releases Debut Single, "Uninvited Guest," Along With Official Music Video

CASEY CHESNUTT RELEASES DEBUT SINGLE, "UNINVITED GUEST"

Watch Official Music Video

Nashville, Tenn. (June 16, 2025) — Casey Chesnutt, son of multi-platinum selling Mark Chesnutt, has country music in his DNA. Now, he's ready to share his voice with the world with the release of his debut single, "Uninvited Guest" (release date June 6, 2025) available via Clearwater Records / ONErpm.

Download / stream HERE (preferred music platform)

He's additionally released the song's official music video. Watch below:
Chesnutt’s last name is familiar to country music fans, but the Texas-based country singer-songwriter isn’t leaning on his name and father’s fame for a leg up in the music business. He's forging his own way — first through the Texas country scene and now a classic path into modern country music.

The son of the "Too Cold At Home" singer grew up surrounded by '90s country. He’s leaning heavily into his traditional influences with the new single. It was written by songwriting heavyweights Jeff Stevens and Marv Green.

“It's reminiscent of the more somber honkytonk music that you expect to be playing in a bar,” says Chesnutt. “You go to a bar, put a quarter in the jukebox, and this song sounds like what would play. When I found it, I fell in love with it. You really can’t get any more country than that.”

Chesnutt’s personal creative journey has been circuitous. By the time he was a teenager, he started to develop his own diverse taste apart from his dad’s and dug into the Texas Red Dirt scene. Cross Canadian Ragweed is among his most significant influences, closely followed by Reckless Kelly, Randy Rogers, Stoney LaRue, and Wade Bowen. But Cody Canada's Cross Canadian Ragweed made the most significant impact.

"It was a little more rock and roll, and they had long hair, and they just were like rock stars," explains Chesnutt. "But it was really dirty, kind of like raw gritty sound, kind of like Lynyrd Skynyrd, but cooler. That's what I started listening to and really fell in love with."

As Chesnutt got older, he started trying to write similar songs. But his artistic point of view confused those in his inner circle. His dad is a nationally known country artist, and Texas Red Dirt is niche with limited reach.

"Everybody was like, 'What's this?'" he says. "But that's what I loved and wanted my sound to be like."

He finished a tour of duty in the Marine Corps, then intensely focused on his music. Chesnutt knew his songs wouldn't work in mainstream country because people heard his last name and expected a '90s country sound. He unsuccessfully tried to write '90s country music, but one of his friends penned a song called "Even Texas Couldn't Hold Her" that he thought would resonate with '90s country fans. He recorded it, and the result toed the line of the music he wanted to make and what people expected to hear from him. After that song was well-received, the young singer felt more comfortable recording and promoting his own music.

He recorded an entire album in his hotel room and self-released it, still trying to steer clear of the Nashville sound. He released a couple of more songs, assembled a band, and started touring.

His manager, Tony Conway, connected him with Clearwater Records, for which he couldn't be more thankful. Chesnutt called his manager and new record label home, a turning point in his life. Now he’s recording music that touches a lifetime of experiences and influences. Given his time as a soldier, a father, son, and country music fan, he's leaning into a wealth of sounds and stories to which any country music fan can relate.

"I hope people will listen and hear a good song, and then hopefully, they'll look for more music from me," he says. "If they do, it will make this whole journey worthwhile. It's been a long one, and it's been a fun one. But it's been a lot of work, and I think it's about time more people hear what I'm trying to do."

Tori Martin’s Free-Spirited New Single, “Cowgirls Ride,” Drops

Tori Martin’s Free-Spirited New Single, “Cowgirls Ride,” Drops

Country Evolution Premiered Earlier This Week

As Heard On Country Mile #371 (Show Opener!) HERE

"With lyrics that draw on vivid imagery of Texas, open prairies, and free spirits, ‘Cowgirls Ride’ is a rallying cry for the women forging their own paths, whether in the saddle or in everyday life."  - Becky O'Connor, Country Evolution

Nashville, TN (May 23, 2025) – LuckySky Music recording artist Tori Martin’s powerful new single, the up-tempo anthem “Cowgirls Ride,” hits radio today. Following its premiere feature in Country Evolution earlier this week, the record is available HERE (purchase / preferred music stream) or tap below.

The release follows Martin’s back-to-back #1 Texas Regional Radio Report chart hits "Lost in the Country" and "Abilene."

“This song is for us,” says Tori. “It was inspired by cowgirls, rodeo queens and barrel racers, but it transcends to all women. It’s a mantra we were born to know. I hope it motivates cowgirls everywhere.”

Tori’s voice alternates between gritty challenge and gloriously sweet rafter-raising energy. Produced by Bill Warner, “Cowgirls Ride” evokes the high-drama moodiness of a classic Western movie soundtrack. Haunting guitars and a wide-open soundscape evoke the freedom of high prairie ranges. “I’m always intrigued by the intangibles of a musical hook,” Warner notes. “We’ve been performing this live for a while and the chorus inevitably hits the mark with the audience.”

Well, they raise ‘em kinda restless
In the reckless heart of Texas
Bust the bolts right off the fences

They’re like tumbleweeds blowing
You can try but you can’t hold ‘em
Queens of the unbroken
Mustangs running wild

About Tori Martin
Born in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida this military brat lived in several states before landing in Azle, Texas at the age of seven.

She spent most of her life just outside of the Dallas/Fort Worth area where she began singing in the local church choir. She cut her teeth on classics from Johnny Cash and Tammy Wynette, courtesy of her grandfather “Paw-Paw,” and by the age of 14 she was performing at Opry houses all over Texas.
In 2014, Renegade Radio Nashville named her one of the “New Faces of Country.” Martin competed on Season 14 of ABC TV’s American Idol but departed the show in the Hollywood round. Taking all her experiences and a big dose of courage, Tori moved to Nashville in 2017.

It didn’t take long before the talented singer/songwriter found herself co-writing with some of the city’s most famous tunesmiths, and it’s a path that has felt blessed from the start. A chance meeting at a mixer led to her working with producer Bill Warner and she signed to Nashville’s indie label, LuckySky Music, shortly thereafter.

Now the two creatives are carving a path that is uniquely her own. With single releases like “What Would Dolly Do,” “Steppin’ In It” and “Lucky,” which reached #42 on the Billboard Indicator chart, Tori’s modern traditional Country sound comes from her roots as a true-blue Texas singer.

Her previous single, “Lost In The Country,” reached #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Report, Top 25 on the CDX TRACtion Texas Chart and Top 15 on their  True Indie Chart.  She released the seasonal, “Warm For December” in November. Named one of the “Future Faces” of 2024 at the TRRR Music Awards, Tori opened for Drew Baldridge on select dates of his Fall 2024 tour.  She won  Texas Regional Radio Report’s  2025  “New Female Vocalist of the Year"  award in March at the 15th annual Texas Music & Radio Awards Show in Arlington.  Her most recent single, "Abilene" reached #1 on TRRRchart, Top 10 on the Texas Music Chart  and #11 on theCDX TRACtion Texas Chart in April. When she is not on the road, Tori enjoys antiquing, decorating and spending time with her husband and their two golden retrievers, Duke and Daisy, and French bulldog, Lucky.

Jesse Daniel is the 'Son of the San Lorenzo' on new album

“...one of the premiere traditional country artists in the genre.” - Whiskey Riff

“...one of the best-kept secrets of neo-traditional country for many years.” - Country Central

June 6, 2025 – Rising country artist Jesse Daniel releases his new album SON OF THE SAN LORENZO via Lightning Rod Records.

Recorded live to tape at The Bomb Shelter in Nashville and featuring a collaboration with Charles Wesley Godwin, the 11-song collection offers up a candid accounting of Daniel’s remarkable journey, from his early years hitchhiking in the shadow of the Santa Cruz Mountains to his tumultuous adolescence and battles with addiction, to the people, and music, that ultimately saved his life.

This summer, Daniel will traverse across continents with shows in Brazil, a tour through Europe, a West Coast run and his debut headline show at the legendary Texas institution Billy Bob’s. He’ll then make his way down to Nashville for AmericanaFest, and in October, will tour through Australia. Find a full list of tour dates below or visit his website

“I wrote, arranged and produced this record myself,” shares Daniel. “I also took on much of the sonic direction, including percussion, rhythm and lead guitar, harmonies and more, which I think is a really important piece of the puzzle given how personal these songs are. I felt like I was finally ready to stop running and face things head on with this record. I felt like I’d matured enough to go deeper than I ever had before, to try and understand how I get here and where I’m headed.”

Daniel shared a series of pre-release singles including the nostalgic ‘Mountain Home’, which Wide Open Country lauded as “a warm and relaxing song that paints a beautifully vivid picture.” It followed the heartfelt reflection ‘Time Well Spent For A Man’ (ft. Charles Wesley Godwin) that earned a rave 9.1 review from Country Central who called it “beautiful” and the hopeful and soulful first single ‘My Time Is Gonna Come’, which garnered praise from American Songwriter, Whiskey Riff, Holler, All Country News and more.

He’s now an established, mainstay stalwart of the honky tonk touring circuit that you can set your watch and compass to, and that young up-and-comers now see as an influence……The best country music isn’t always just about the here and now. Sometimes it takes months, years, or even generations for the most important aspects of country music to reveal their strength and genius. Just as Jesse Daniel used country music to save his life and get him on the right path, he now uses the songs of Son of the San Lorenzo to project who he wants to be, and where he wants to go in the future. – RATING 8.2/10 SAVING COUNTRY MUSIC

Taking shape while he was on the road last year, the album expands on his sound in a way that wears its influences on its sleeve, from the California country of the Eagles and the Flying Burrito Brothers to classic rock like Led Zeppelin and the Allman Brothers. In addition to the Charles Wesley Godwin feature, it includes instrumentation from Charlie McCoy, Lynyrd Skynyrd keyboardist Peter Keys and SteelDrivers banjo player Richard Bailey.

Last year marked a turning point for Daniel’s career, beginning with creating the theme song to comedian Dusty Slay’s Netflix special Workin’ Man that was released in January. He then released his critically-acclaimed album Countin’ The Miles which garnered praise from Billboard, Texas Monthly, Cowboys & Indians, Bandcamp, BrooklynVegan, Whiskey Riff, No Depression, Holler and many more. The album went on to debut in the top 30 on the Americana Radio Chart and led to a tour supporting Godwin. To close out the year, he released a duo of collaborative singles with Benjamin Tod which was followed by a co-headline tour.

Mary Chapin Carpenter releases New Album PERSONAL HISTORY

MARY CHAPIN CARPENTER’s NEW ALBUM PERSONAL HISTORY DROPS

June 6, 2025 —
5x Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Mary Chapin Carpenter dropped her new album Personal History on June 6, 2025.
The eleven-track collection, produced by Josh Kaufman and recorded live at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Bath, England, is more autobiographical for the singer than any project she’s released before.

In early 2025 the 11-song collection was recorded at Real World Studios in Box, England, with Josh Kaufman (Bob Weir, The National, The Hold Steady) producing and a world-class band of musicians: Matt Rollings (piano, organ, accordion, xylophone), Duke Levine (electric  guitar, hammer dulcimer), Chris Vatalaro (drums, percussion), Cameron Ralston (bass), and Kaufman ( guitar, organ, harmonium, harmonica). Anais Mitchell lends harmonies to ‘Home Is A Song.’

Already receiving critical attention, UNCUT calls it a “late career highlight” and continues, “Mary Chapin Carpenter has struck a deep vein of mature singer-songwriting that recalls the way Emmylou Harris surpassed everything she had done before with 2000’s Red Dirt Girl,” while Music Row declares, “Acoustic strumming, harmonica and spare percussion set the mood for her smoky alto delivery…Marvellously listenable.”

Carpenter shares, “A novel that I’ve loved for years is My Name is Lucy Barton, written by Elizabeth Strout. There’s this moment where the main character is taking a creative writing course, and her teacher says to her, ‘You will only have one story. You will write your one story in many ways.’ I remember reading that line and taking an audible breath. In that moment, I said out loud to no one, ‘Oh, that’s what the songs are.’”

I started writing the songs on this album as the pandemic began winding down,” Carpenter recalled. “What Did You Miss pointed the way forward, with its final verse: ‘I’ve been writing it down / song by song / as a personal history.’ (I have been) imagining this collection of songs as memoir, and how the wisdom that comes with growing older becomes a north star, whether one is celebrating life’s joys or navigating life’s inevitable losses.

On Personal History, Mary Chapin Carpenter weaves songs from lyrical filaments and layers of cinematic instrumentation, enfolding us in a rich rhythmic grandeur. It may be her best album yet, and it is certainly one of the best albums of the year so far. - FOLK ALLEY

The album concludes with Mary Chapin’s signature emotional measure in “Say It Anyway” — another moving piece…until next time. Highlights – “What Did You Miss,” “Girl & Her Dog,” “The Saving Things,” “Hello, My Name Is,” “Bitter Ender,” “The Night We Never Met, & “Home Is a Song,” & “Say It Anyway.” - Americana Highways

Another wonderful, subtle production. If you allow an album to grow on you, the riche here will become ever more evident with every listen of Mary Chapin Carpenter’s Personal HistoryROCKING MAGPIE.

‘Personal History’ is a record that Carpenter’s fans will absolutely love. It’s a deep dive into her life and 17 records in, it’s remarkable that she’s still able to deliver music of this calibre – 3 STARS EF COUNTRY

With hits like “Down At The Twist And Shout” and “He Thinks He’ll Keep Her,” she has won five Grammy Awards (with 18 nominations), two CMA Awards, two ACM Awards, is one of only twenty-two female members of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the 2023 ACM Honors Poet’s Award.
Carpenter’s last solo recording, 2021’s One Night Lonely (Live), was nominated for Best Folk Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards—exactly 30 years after her very first nomination. A rare solo performance, the album was recorded at Virginia’s legendary Wolf Trap and features songs from across her acclaimed career, including from her last solo studio album, The Dirt And The Stars

Most recently, Carpenter released Looking For The Thread, a collaborative album with legendary Scottish folk stars and songwriters Karine Polwart and Julie Fowlis. Released to widespread praise, Folk Alley describes it as, “a set of warm, introspective, and stunningly gorgeous songs…It’s beauty and warmth touch our souls deeply, and each song is a many faceted gem of love and hope,” while Music Row calls the project “enchanting” and The Arts Desk declares, “It’s only January but this is an album of the year…a class act, heartfelt and beautifully crafted.”
In addition to her work as a musician, last fall Carpenter unveiled her new podcast, “Hope is a Muscle,” which finds her in conversation with people from all walks of life including Joan Baez, Adriene Mishler, John Darnielle and U.S. Congressman Jamie Raskin. During its run, the podcast was in the top five music podcasts on both Apple and Spotify Platforms. Previously, in 2020, Carpenter released the three-part audio liner notes podcast, “One Story,” with American poet, Sarah Kay.

With ‘Corn Queen,' Hailey Whitters delivers a love letter to the Midwest, to the women who raised her, to herself and to the ever-evolving sound of country music. It’s an album full of character, conviction and charm – an absolute gem – much like Hailey Whitters herself. – 4.1/2 STARS EF COUNTRY

Bluegrass star Molly Tuttle joins Whitters on guitar and vocals on “Prodigal Daughter”, and country folk artist Charles Wesley Godwin duets on “I Don’t Know You”. These two songs provide a welcome musical contrast to the other cuts on the album. These cuts are more explicitly serious and show Whitters’ ability to play and sing it straight. While 16 tracks may seem too much to put on one record, are there ever too many kernels to fit on an ear of corn? All hail the queen! – 8/10 RATING Pop Matters

“Whitters delivers the humility of small-town life through 16 tracks of clever, insightful lyrics and twangy, foot-tapping melodies” – POSITIVE Review HOLLER

Watch the video for “White Limousine”:
About the new song, Whitters explains: “I've waited a long time to put out this record. I wrote and recorded this song for a duets record called Countrypolitan that unfortunately never will see the light of day, but this was always my favorite song on that record so it gives me triumph to be able to reclaim it on Corn Queen. This song defines the 'Queen' side of the album. The video captures that romanticized escapism that anyone who's ever lived in a small town has probably experienced at some point or another. I know I definitely did! Props to my creative director Beth Brinker for bringing Palm Springs to the cornfield.”

Following her album release party earlier this week at Skinny Dennis presented by Holler, Whitters will celebrated the album release with an in-store performance and signing at Grimey's (Friday, June 6, 2025 4:00 PM -  5:00 PM) . Fans could purchase the vinyl LP and CD at Grimeys.com or inside the record store for a signing wristband. Later that evening, Whitters performed at Spotify House Live At Ole Red at 7:30 p.m. as part of CMA Fest.

Prodigal Daughter” featuring Molly Tuttle was named one of the Best Songs of 2025 (So Far) by Vulture and praised as “Hailey at her best” by All Country News. At the top of the year, she shared shared “Casseroles,” which was lauded as a “Song You Need to Know” (Rolling Stone), a “nuanced reflection on grief and recovery” (Billboard), “an undeniable triumph” (Holler), a “testament that she can hang with some of the genre's best” (Country Central), “proof she's only getting better” (Wide Open Country) and “a beautiful and striking tune” (Whiskey Riff).

“Fans started calling me the 'Corn Queen' because I'm from Iowa,” Whitters says about the album's title. “At first, it seemed kind of silly, but the more I thought about it, the more I loved the duality of it. Corn is this simple, humble crop, and 'queen' implies royalty passed down through blood. I come from a long line of blue-collar farmers and construction workers. I've been out here for over a decade brushing my teeth in truck stop bathrooms, sleeping on hotel floors, driving myself from gig to gig. It's not glamorous, but I'm proud of it. I like the idea of a queen with a little grit and elbow grease.”

Triple Tigers Records’ Shane Profitt is ‘Hometown Proud’ in His Latest Release “Long Live Country” – Out Now
Profitt Releases “Long Live Country” Lyric Video as a Tribute to His Hometown

(June 6, 2025 – Nashville, TN) Rising Triple Tigers Records artist, Shane Profitt, is celebrating the people who’ve shaped his life in his latest release, “Long Live Country,” out now. Written by Profitt, Matt Rogers and Lindsay Rimes, the autobiographical track shines a big spotlight on the singer’s small town and the beer-swiggin’, SEC game-watchin’, Jesus-lovin’ people who make it up.Profitt was born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee, where until recently he worked for the city mowing ditches. He pays homage to his blue-collar life in the artwork for “Long Live Country” and couldn’t be prouder of the place and people that made him who he is. This song is an anthem for small town Country.

“If you spend an hour in my hometown, you’ll experience every lyric of this song. It’s about my life, my town and the people who are just like me.” - Shane Profitt

Alongside the track, Profitt has released a retrospective lyric video as a tribute to the life he writes and sings about. It is an authentic look into an artist who gives voice to the working class.

Long Live Country” follows Profitt’s heartfelt “Penny to My Name,” which released earlier this year. The moving track serves as a reminder that money doesn’t buy happiness – it’s the memories you make with the ones you love.

About Shane Profitt:

A salt-of-the-earth southerner with a straight-shooting swagger and kind smile, Shane Profitt is an authentic, all-natural talent who is poised to become one of Nashville’s most exciting new acts.

The 25-year-old from Columbia, TN began his musical journey only a few years ago with a simple ambition - to learn to play Hank Jr. songs on the guitar. Beginning with three chords (G, C and D) and by putting in the time, he quickly mastered the instrument. Gifted with a heavy-duty vocal, Profitt became a regular draw at the popular southern cooking chain, Puckett’s, traveling all over Tennessee to weekend shows while still holding down his job back home working for the city of Columbia mowing ditches. Since then, he has rocked sold-out shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium, earned standing ovations at the Grand Ole Opry, and is writing modern Country music rooted in his blue-collar upbringing. With tracks like, “Still Picks Up,” the emerging artist introduces more layers and emotion to his usual feel-good, windows-down sound, storytelling in a way that hits close to home every time.

The vulnerable tune followed the debut of his upfront writing style and barrel-chested voice on the three-song collection Maury County Line (BMLG Records/Harpeth 60 Records). With tracks like the hook filled honky-tonker “Better Off Fishin’,” chest-thumping charmer “Guys Like Me,” and his hopeful heaven-on-earth Top 15 Country radio single “How It Oughta Be,” it’s clear he puts his life to music — along with the lives of so many others. Now, Profitt is stepping into his next chapter with Maverick Nashville Management and joining the roster of Triple Tigers Records, each stewarding his talents towards a long-lasting and impactful career. Earlier this year, Profitt released his debut track with Triple Tigers Records, “Penny To My Name,” and his recent release, “Long Live Country,” is out now.
