Carrie Underwood is no stranger to showing off her legs, so it’s a good thing it was sunny in London the other day. The 29-year-old singer found the perfect opportunity to flaunt her enviable figure when she attended her album launch in London.

The oh-so-cute star looked glowingly beautiful as she arrived at the Arts Club (club photo) in a mixture of green, yellow and black.
Making the most of the nice weather, Carrie teamed a pair of green sequined shorts with a long floaty yellow top which she wore with a lighter green jacket.
Carrie’s tanned legs were more than evident.

Carrie completed her look with a pair of black sparkly ankle boots and a gold necklace as she headed inside to promote her latest record, Blown Away.
Earlier on, it was all business in London as she made an appearance at Radio 2’s studios looking just lovely in this casual chic outfit more suitable for the colder London weather.

Carrie Underwood opens up on backlash after voicing her support for gay marriage

Speaking in London, at her showcase Underwood was uncomfortable revisiting the subject and said she was staying away from reading the reactions. “I was asked a difficult question in the last five minutes of an interview and I answered it the best way I knew how, and after that I do what I do and I love making music and I generally try to stay out of any kind of controversy,” she told The Associated Press in an interview Tuesday June 19.

Underwood hopes breaking into the U.K. market will in some way rebalance the flood of successful English acts like Adele, One Direction and The Wanted who are taking over the American charts.
We’re kind of being invaded right now, in the U.S, in a good way,” she said. “I do think it would be really cool if I were loved and accepted here, that’s the hope for this week”. Full story at www.nydailynews.com

Carrie Underwood Sun Interview ( Thurs June 20, 2012)

US sensation Carrie Underwood is on a mission to change Britain's lacklustre view of country
Chatting exclusively to The Sun in a live webchat with Sun reporter Beci Wood, she says: "I'm so excited to come over here and perform for the first time. "I don't really know why country music isn't popular in the UK but I'm hoping to change that.....
"Country music is all about people, it's about how you live, it's not about pimped out limos and bling bling
Without having ever released any music in the UK, Carrie was nervous people may shun her Royal Albert Hall gig. But in actual fact it sold out in just 90 minutes.
She said: "I'm always a bit nervous when we go to a new area. When I heard the good news and people where going to show up I was really relieved. When you go somewhere new you just want people to come and have fun and enjoy it."

And Carrie hopes it's the start of something special, with dreams of playing at a country music festival in the UK - "A festival would be great. I'd love to come back as a fan and to sing.
"However I'm not sure people will want to watch me perform after a night of camping."
