NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Monday, Aug. 8, 2016) – Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) amplified the excitement surrounding this weekend’s 2016 Olympic Games’ commencement when they stopped by ABC’s Good Morning America this morning, to rally the crowd with an elevating performance of  “The World’s Greatest” interspersed with clips of patriotic fans and athletes from across the country.

The duo, whose current single, “From The Ground Up," is currently Top 5 and climbing from their celebrated sophomore release Obsessed, produced by Smyers himself along side the renowned Scott Hendricks, shared their unique performance of  “The World’s Greatest” featuring the pair’s unmistakable harmonies. 

Dan + Shay’s powerful vocals added to the uplifting lyrics and compelling images of USA’s competing teams interlaced with shots of proud fans waving flags all over the country in Chicago, Dallas, New York and Washington, D.C., helping America start the Games with fervor.

They previously announced details of a 4-date headline tour in the UK this autumn.

The duo will perform at Glasgow, Manchester, Birmingham and London kicking off at the O2 ABC2 in Glasgow on Friday 16th September 2016.

The tour is in support of the duo’s recently released second album OBSESSED which topped the official UK Country Album Chart (Week Ending 16 June 2016)

This is the first headline UK dates for the duo who enjoyed a breakthrough on the Country music scene with their debut album Where It All Began in 2014. That album spawned the hits "19, You + Me", "Show You Off" and "Nothin’ Like You".

Dan + Shay’s latest single is "From the Ground Up", which is shaping up to be one of their most successful to date.
