Jessie James Decker’s fans return Gold to #1 on iTunes Country Albums Chart

JESSIE JAMES DECKER’S FANS RETURN GOLD TO #1
ON ITUNES COUNTRY ALBUMS CHART

Set to co-host ACM Awards Live Red Carpet Show Sunday, April 2

(Mar. 29, 2017 – Nashville, TN)

Debuting at #1 on iTunes Country Chart and Top 5 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart, Epic Records (Sony) singer/songwriter Jessie James Decker was excited to see that her effort to thank her fans via social media last week shot her back up to #1 a month after her EP’s release date. The 5-song project — GOLD — gave Jessie her highest first week sales to date, and has amassed more than 8.2 million streams since it was released.

To show her appreciation to the fans who had purchased the EP, Jessie asked them to screenshot the EP in their music library and post using the hashtag #igotGOLDbyJJD for a chance to get a personal phone call from Jessie. In two days, the EP jumped 100 spots on the iTunes Country Chart landing her back at #1! Decker’s army of fans have demonstrated the power of social media once again.

Produced by Daniel Agee in Nashville, the project’s sultry lead single “Lights Down Low,” has garnered more than 6.2 million streams on Spotify. GOLD features tracks written by powerhouse songwriters Jeffrey Steele and Jesse Frasure and Grammy winning artist Maren Morris. Jessie is co-writer on two of the EP’s five tracks. This weekend Decker heads to Las Vegas where she’ll join fellow country artists Chase Bryant and Lindsay Ell in co-hosting the ACM Awards Live Red Carpet Show, airing live from T-Mobile Arena on Sunday, April 2 from 6-8pm ET at ACMawards.twitter.com.
