NASHVILLE, TN - Jun. 19, 2017 –
Multi-PLATINUM trio Lady Antebellum earns their fifth debut at the No. One position on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart this week with their critically acclaimed sixth studio album HEART BREAK (Capitol Records Nashville), after moving over 53,000 equivalent albums units (46,950 in pure sales, during the week ending June 15, according to Nielsen Music) upon release.
Additionally, the “buoyant album” (Entertainment Weekly) immediately skyrocketed to the Top 10 on iTunes charts in 15 countries around the world, including UK, Ireland, Scotland, Canada and South Africa where their YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR stops later this year.

"Over the last 10 years, Lady A has helped redefine the reach and sound of Country Music,” said Cindy Mabe, President of Universal Music Group Nashville. "Their new album HEART BREAK sounds like nothing they’ve done before, yet those magical harmonies are instantly familiar. As HEART BREAK debuts at No. One this week, the band’s fifth number one album, I am reminded how their music and touring has traveled the world and connected everywhere. From touring internationally this year with stops planned from Europe to South Africa, their reach is shown with Top 10 iTunes debuts in numerous global markets. I’m continuously blown away with how this band and their music connect. Across the world, HEART BREAK adds to Lady A’s already impressive career – amassing more than 18 million in total units worldwide, 34 million tracks sold and closing in on two billion streams.”
