Lives
in Caerphilly, From Pontypridd
He moved into being a mobile DJ for many years and always tried to include as many country tracks as he could get away with! Today, he loves many modern artists like the Zac Brown Band, Chris Stapleton and Alan Jackson, discovering classic music going all the way back to the Roaring Twenties as much as discovering so many new artists especially those breaking through in the UK. Along with the enjoyment of preparing, researching and presenting the country shows, Craig always tries to support the artists through the social media pages or by attending as many gigs, festivals and country & western clubs as possible.

sprinkling of Americana and Bluegrass.
Types include early old time/hillbilly country, singing cowboy,
yodelling, Western swing, rockabilly, Nashville sound, Bakersfield, country
Rock/pop, Bluegrass, newgrass, progressive bluegrass, Texas, Red dirt, Cajun,
Truck driving, country rap, bro country, alternative country and anything in
between – that is the Moonshine
Experience!
Country music from the US, Canada, UK, Ireland, Europe, Australia
and around the the World.
Regular features: The 'UK Triple Play' which
showcases some great British country/roots/Americana singers, songwriters and
musicians. There's also the 'Country Cyclopedia' where each week
there are selections from A to Z in the Encyclopedia of Country Music picking
out artists who haven't been included very often or at all on the show.
Occasionally there are other features like the 'Album
Showcase' which features a play a couple of tracks from a newly
released album. The programme mentions details of the latest gigs, events and
festivals along with country music news and information.
