(3 Oct 2018) NEW MUSIC KIRA "Danger Danger"
Written by:
Maren Morris (Brothers Osborne, Morgan Wallen)
Shy Carter (Keith Urban, Meghan Trainor)
Sam Ellis (Martina McBride, Kane Brown)

Kira Isabella is back with cool new music. Since her debut release in 2011, KIRA has landed three Top 10 singles on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100, and eight consecutive Top 20 radio singles.

Earlier this year KIRA celebrated her return to the airwaves with the release of her single, "Little Girl," which raced up the Canadian country music charts, peaking at number 14.

Never one to shy away from momentum, on Oct 5th KIRA will release "Danger Danger" (UK iTunes), a track that speaks directly to her desire to continue pushing the envelope, taking chances and debuting a new sound she's been eager to unleash with a confidence she's never felt before.

"Danger Danger" is a big song for KIRA showcasing her voice in a new mature style that highlights her control, feel and groove. KIRA's sound is clean, sophisticated and reflects the current movement of young women reinventing the "Nashville" sound for new, young country music listeners. The track will be followed by release of a two-part EP, before the end of the year.
"Known for her courageous attitude in taking on social issues, she has made herself a positive role model for many young women." - FACES Magazine (2017)
"Ottawa-born Kira does exactly that, bringing in a blend of Shania Twain and Carrie Underwood with a modern twist. Her music sounds like a fusion of pop and country music, very emotionally charged, and hits you right at the heart. It's pretty amazing, especially when you consider she is soon to be turning only 25!" - The Arts Guild (2018)
"A great song makes you feel something and can cause you to open your eyes, mind and heart," - KIRA, Rolling Stone on "Quarterback" (2014)

(3 Oct 2018) Charlie Daniels Announces Latest Studio Album, Beau Weevils - Songs In The Key Of E
Fans who follow Country Music Hall of Famer Charlie Daniels online may have noticed what appears to be a serious infestation of boll weevil bugs on his social media accounts and website. As it turns out, those critters aren't boll weevils at all. They're actually, "Beau Weevils," and are a nod to Daniels' upcoming studio album, Beau Weevils - Songs in the Key of E, set for release on Friday, October 26 (Amazon.com).
The new ten-track album features lead vocals, guitar and fiddle by Daniels, James Stroud on drums and percussion, Billy Crain on guitar, and Charlie Hayward on bass.
"Beau Weevils - Songs in the Key of E is the culmination of a long held desire of James Stroud and myself to do a project together," says Daniels. "We had worked together, with James in the capacity of producer, which had resulted in some of our most successful albums for The Charlie Daniels Band, but James is one of the finest and most soulful drummers in the business and I figured we could get together, musician to musician, and come up with something special. We just needed a vehicle in the form of songs that would fit the bill."

COUNTRY GOSSIP
(1 Oct 2018) Taylor Swift brought joy to a young fan with autism by inviting him to her show two years after she helped him secure a service dog.
The singer invited eight-year-old Jacob Hill to attend her Houston, Texas show at NRG Stadium on Saturday night (29Sep18), along with his therapy dog Reid, his mother Allison Hill and sister Jordan Fox.
"Taylor Swift was so kind," Allison said in a Facebook post opposite a photo of her and her family with the star. The image was shared by the organisation Autism Speaks.
"She said Reid was a big puffball and so cute. She was especially awesome with Jacob,” she added. "She didn't see my son's disability she just saw him. She got down on her knees and looked him right in the eyes and said hello and that she was thankful HE came to her show even though she knew it was loud and there was so much going on."
The Shake it Off hitmaker donated $10,000 (£13,000) back in 2016 to go towards a service dog for the boy. She became aware of the then six-year-old when he and his cousin Makaylee Duhon’s shared a version of her track Blank Space on YouTube, which was reworked to feature lyrics calling attention to his page on the fundraising site GoFundMe.
Swift and her mother then contributed to the campaign and posted a touching message on the charity site.
“Jacob, we hope you love your new dog!" they shared. "Please tell your cousins that they did a great job on the song! Love, Taylor and Andrea Swift."

(4 Oct 2018) Carrie Underwood fronts Disney's new anti-bullying initiative
Carrie Underwood is spearheading a new campaign to prevent bullying.
The country star has signed on as Disney's Choose Kindness campaign ambassador, and she's kicking off America's National Bullying Prevention Month with a message.
"It's time to stop the hate and spread some love," the country singer said in a new public service announcement. "You are beautiful. You are smart. You are awesome. And you never have to change for anybody.
"You have the voice and you have the power. You're so much stronger when we come together. It's your choice, so choose to be inspired. Choose to be accepting. Be strong. Be brave. Be awesome. Be daring. Be kind. Choose kindness."

The 35-second ad includes a snippet of Underwood's new single, Love Wins, which she also co-wrote, and she explains she wanted to record a track that helps people in troubled times.
"We weren't trying to speak negatively about our world, because we live in an amazing world, but I feel like we get really caught up in surface things and I feel like in this world, we're quick to get angry at each other," she said recently. "I personally think that we're all different for a reason. I feel like if you just sit down and talk to somebody who's not like you and keep it calm, we can all learn from each other."
The 35-year-old, who is currently expecting her second child with husband Mike Fisher, previously told Redbook magazine in 2016 that the bullying she experiences online has forced her to "have a barrier up" to protect herself, meaning the trolls have stopped her from being able to interact with her fans on various social media platforms.
Carrie is already mum to a three-year-old son named Isaiah.

Shelly Brown is a jewelry designer. The magazine recalls Brown saying they met at a New Year's Eve show his band was playing. He'd been stood up and was lacking someone to kiss at midnight. Once they touched lips, it was "game over."
Soon after getting married, the Browns welcomed daughter Justice, who's now 11 years old.
