Mountain Fever Records releases new single from Amanda Cook

Good Enough (Ain't Good Enough) now available!

WILLIS, VA - It's with much excitement that Mountain Fever Records released Amanda Cook's (website) newest single, "Good Enough (Ain't Good Enough)".
If you have enjoyed Amanda's hits like, "Deep Water", "No Rhyme or Reason", "Midnight 402" or her most recent hit, "You Were Mine", then you will love her newest offering.

Good Enough (Ain't Good Enough) was written by acclaimed German-born and Nashville-based songwriter, Thomm Jutz; beloved Nashville star, Andrea Zonn, who can often be found on stage playing fiddle and singing back-up vocals with James Taylor; and bluegrass favorite, the talented singer, songwriter, and mandolinist, Sierra Hull.
One might ask why such gifted writers and clever business persons would allow another artist to record a beautiful song like this, but the answer is clear: Amanda Cook delivers this heart-wrenching and often too true tale of love turned cold with perfection. Her emotion is raw and captivating.

From the outside looking in
You’d say everything seems fine
But lately in my mind, I’m already down the Line
Nothings right, and nothings wrong
But nothing’s right about holding on too long
Chorus
When good enough ain’t good enough no more
When you’re hurting cause you hurt for something more
You can’t put your finger on it, but it’s different than before
And good enough ain’t good enough, no more

Amanda has a busy schedule ahead of her as she promotes her soon-to-be-released album, POINT OF NO RETURN. Her tour included a stop at Nashville's Station Inn as well as a lengthy tour in Australia with label mate, Kristy Cox.

About Amanda Cook:
Amanda Cook from the Gulf Coast of Florida came onto the Bluegrass Scene with drive and determination. Bringing a mix of Traditional and Contemporary Bluegrass in every show, audiences of all ages enjoy her live performances.

Jay, Florida's Amanda Cook acquired a love of bluegrass from her father who played banjo throughout her childhood. In early 2007, Amanda formed bluegrass group High Cotton with her father and received her first taste of performing, fueling a fire to continue on a professional level. In 2013, determined to create her own sound, Amanda stepped out on her own and released her first solo album ONE STOP ALONG THE ROAD.  The project made it to the top 150 Roots Music Bluegrass Album Charts for 2014 and 2015 (#61 for 2015 #56 for 2014). The self-released album also brought Amanda significant regional attention and furthered the desire to grow her brand, resulting in the addition of a full touring band. In early 2017, Amanda signed with Mountain Fever Records and recorded her debut album on the label DEEP WATER.  Amanda was excited for her 2nd album project, especially that she and band member Carolyne VanLierop co-wrote the title track   Amanda has created quite a loyal fan-base through her palpable delivery of a soul-wrenching song. And her light-hearted, down-to-earth style helps her create an undeniably strong connection with her audience.
