The lyrics
throughout Good Love are super catchy and fun which is one thing I adore about
this trio - their fun and loving side.
The second
verse continues the fun and funky side of the song wonderfully and the lyrics
are lyrics the girls have written from the heart about their relationships

The release of ‘Good Love’, premiered exclusively on Bauer’s Country Hits Radio, has been long anticipated by the
Country
Music scene and came just as the trio geared up for their performance at CMA Fest in
Nashville.
Also
announced was the band’s support slot with pop megastar Jess Glynne at
Rochester Castle this July!

‘Good Love’; penned with and
produced by Grammy-winner Femke Weidema in Nashville, is the
girls’ one and only ‘happy love song’ and is as infectiously catchy as it is
Summery.
“We chose this track because it’s a real feel-good summer song,” said 22-year-old Alicia Alba, from Wolverhampton – one third of The Adelaides.

a favourite of all of ours. So, it was a no brainer to release it.”
It’s
been a relatively quick rise for Alicia alongside Paris Georgia, 24, from
Coventry, and Abi Phillips, aged 25 and from Sutton Coldfield.

“Our
band was formed in July 2017,” she adds. “Abi and Paris were
previously in another band and were looking for a final member to complete the
trio. They found me after seeing my YouTube videos and invited me to meet up
where we sang together. “We clicked straight
away and that's when The Adelaides were formed.”
“We all grew up listening to country music along with other
genres. Our love for harmonies and storytelling is what we're all about. Country music is honest and always tells a
story, it's always about life experience in some way. It's so relatable and
that's what we're all about really.
“We're a fusion between country and pop. The country scene is
really growing in the UK at the moment and we're so happy to be part of that.”

The trio were invited to perform
at CMA Fest taking place on 6-9 June 2019 (supporting
the CMA Foundation & music education).

A young band, in every sense, Paris Georgia, Alicia Alba and Abi Phillips, nonetheless hark back to the old time Country traditions of talent, truth and integrity.
The Adelaides are incredible singer-songwriters who
pack a serious punch with their original songs such as debut singles ‘Leave’ and ‘Good
Love’.
The band have proved themselves to be a formidable live act,
wowing hardcore country audiences. In October, the band will again
support Charles Esten on his UK tour [having done so in
January] which includes a night at the legendary Royal Albert Hall in
London.

It was written by Grammy Award winning Nashville song-writer, Marcus Hummon (Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Dixie Chicks), who first met
the band when they shared a stage with his son, Levi, at their first ever gig
as a three during Country Music Week 2017.
Both Marcus and Levi were blown
away with the girl’s talents, and he immediately told them about a great song
of his that would show of their harmonies, and how he’d love for them to record
it!
They played a
4/5 track Industry Showcase at 229 in London on Tuesday May 14th

Country Pop trio The Adelaides, featuring Paris

already creating a serious buzz. A young band, in every sense, The
Adelaides nonetheless hark back to the old time Country traditions of
talent, truth and integrity; these girls just want to entertain. The
Adelaides are three incredible singer-songwriters who pack a serious
collective punch with their original compositions such as the fourth coming
debut single ‘Good Love’ due to be released in early June.
The
Adelaides have
a management deal with Simon Porter at Duroc Media, the home
of Status Quo and Bonnie Tyler, and were taken on by Neil Warnock of
United Talent Group, who is personally representing them. This year the
band played shows on each day of the C2C Festival, as they did in
2018 too. Additionally, the band are going international, having recently
completed a packed itinerary of gigs, recording and writing sessions, media
commitments, showcase performances and much more in Nashville.
Being right in the beating heart of the Country Music world was a dream come true.

Right from day one, the band have proved themselves to be a formidable live act, wowing hardcore country audiences wherever they go. In October 2019, the band will once again support Charles Esten on his UK tour [having done so in January]. The Adelaides not only perform a support slot but also serve as Charles’ band for a segment off his show!
As
well as at C2C, the band have proved themselves at events like
the Country Music Week show at The Borderline and Hard
Rock Country at the Hard Rock Café and have performed
support slots for Catherine McGrath, Megan McKenna, Ashley
Campbell & Mo Pitney, Andy Brown and Key
West. Those live shows had gone fantastically well and The
Adelaides went on to perform at very notable festivals in summer
2018; The British Summer Time Festival in Hyde Park on
the same bill as Michael Bublé and Van Morrison, Ramblin’ Man Festival, Cornbury, Nashville
Meets London, Black Deer Festival and at the Long
Road Festival. This year will see plenty more festival appearances including The British Country Music Festival on 14th September.
Guitarist Paris
Georgia is a prolific and creative vocalist who has taken part in
songwriting sessions in Nashville, and performed at the city’s legendary Bluebird venue.
An engaging and confident performer with scores of gigs under her belt, she has
also sung solo at Wembley Arena at a charity event.

The
baby of the group, Alicia Alba has sung all her life and yet
came to The Adelaides from the world of Acting and
Dance. Whilst she loved drama school, the focus on musical theatre
interested her less as her own tastes were rooted in soul and
blues. Hooking up with The Adelaides allows her to
indulge her love of music and performance, and she turned down appearing on
‘The Voice’ to concentrate on the group.
Abi
Phillips is
an accomplished guitarist / singer / songwriter who has been writing original
material since her early teens. A well-known TV face, Abi originally won her Hollyoaks role
by writing a song called ‘Missing You’ which was broadcast during one of her
storylines. Having performed at well-known events including BBC
Children in Need, Moonwalk at Hyde Park and T4 On The
Beach, Abi has a wealth of live experience, which she plans to put to full
use on her journey with The Adelaides.
A
truly exciting live act, the girls’ blend of self-penned originals, leavened
with a couple of well-chosen covers, is winning them new fans wherever they go.
Now focusing even more closely on the writing side, The Adelaides have
a set of great tracks in the bag – with the likes of ‘Reckless’, ‘No
Survivors’, ‘Pull the Trigger, ‘Jelly Baby’ and ‘Jack Daniels’ being thoroughly
road-tested. Into the mix they often bring a track like Miley Cyrus’ ‘Nothing Breaks Like a Heart’ or the
Maren Morris song ‘My Church’, given a creative twist by The Adelaides.
Already
having turned heads and been welcomed on stages and radio stations across the
country [they have been featured as Band Of The Month by BBC
Introducing], The Adelaides are fired up and optimistic,
and well they might be; watch these girls fly!
