X FACTOR: Celebrity star Megan already has a hit on her
hands - with her original song "This" climbing to No.2
on the iTunes chart.
While controversy raged about Simon Cowell's slating of
her fluff-fringed outfit, which he said reminded everyone she was a
"reality star", the track has quietly picked up sales.
He told her: "Love the song, hate the outfit.

my original song ‘THIS’ I’m overwhelmed by the love you guys have for my

Her self-penned ballad jumped from eighth to seventh,
before finishing the night in the second-place spot, ahead of Lizzo and Ariana
Grande hit Good As Hell.
Megan's song, which appears to reference her determination
to succeed on the show, also leapfrogged Maroon 5's Memories. Read more &

Megan performed a self-written song about her late
grandad Roy on Saturday night's Celebrity X Factor (Nov 2).
Her grandfather passed away in 2015 and she has
discussed how the lyrics to her track Stronger are "extra
personal" and singing live on stage will be "a really emotional moment."
"This will be one of my most emotional
performances. I'll have to hold it together when I'm on stage," she told MailOnline.
She told the publication: "The song I'm
performing this week is extra personal to me. It is going to be a really
emotional moment for me and my family."
The talent show hopeful also touched on how she was inspired
to pen the lyrics as a result of the words her late grandad would say to her as
she reflected that he was her "biggest fan."
The country singer also shared that her grandfather
was like her own " Simon Cowell " who was involved in her song
selection and that he would watch her practice.
Megan sweetly added that she is sure he will be

Apple still grab 60% of the market that equals around 5,800 sales for the
week (daily average of 800)
If the McKenna’s “This” recording was doing 56% of
that then that's roughly 500 copies coming via iTunes assuming the figure still
represents 24 hours.
