Count Me In is a love story that starts right at the beginning of something beautiful and is a story true to many who have found love with a struggle or challenge that is not so easily overcome.

Our young singer songwriter from Melbourne, Australia explains; ‘’This song basically wrote itself when I found myself learning to love someone who was failing to love herself.  I wanted this to be a positive song despite the underlying message, and hopefully many of you will find something you can relate to in this little thing that came from my brain’’ 

Matthew Bradford has recorded and produced the new single in between booking shows for himself across the UK to support the likes of Emma Stevens and radio 2 folk award winners 9bach.  He arrived in the UK last week with a guitar and a rucksack ready to establish himself within the UK this summer.

About: Matthew Bradford is a 21-year old singer-songwriter based in Melbourne, Australia.

Bradford began performing at a young age, attending the ‘Hunter School of the Performing Arts High School where he was given many opportunities to perform at showcase nights and assemblies which later lead to him doing regular gigs at local bars, cafe's and restaurants.

Upon finishing high school in 2014, Matt trained under the guidance of the ‘Talent Development Project’ (TDP) and graduated the program in 2015. From there he went on to pursue his music career in Melbourne.

Whilst living in Melbourne, Matt has played foyer entertainment for Ed Sheeran and Neil Diamond at Allphones Arena in Sydney as well as being a guest performer for Darren Percival in Newcastle. In addition to this, he has had regular gigs within restaurants and bars throughout Melbourne and surrounding suburbs such as Fitzroy, Brunswick and St Kilda. Alongside this, he has busked numerous times amoung a hand-picked selection in the Bourke Street Mall, Melbourne.

In 2015, Matthew Bradford went on tour with Karise Eden, the original ‘The Voice’ winner (2012), as her support act, touring through Sydney, Newcastle and Wollongong.

Bradford has also had the privilege of recording with Sony Studios in Sydney to record a single.

​Aside from performing and writing music, Bradford produces his own music as well as music of other artists

​Matthew Bradford kicked off 2018 with a single release called "Count Me In" moving to England from Australia to begin his professional music career.
