25 May 2018 - 31 May 2018
There was no change at the very top, where Calvin Harris & Dua Lipa’s One Kiss lingered for a sixth lip-locking week matching the amount of time the longest-reigning of Harris’ eight previous No.1s – 2011 Rihanna collaboration We Found Love – spent at No.1, though doing so in one stretch, whereas We Found Love had two three-week reigns. One Kiss racked up 54,424 sales last week, including 41,357 from sales-equivalent streams. With more paid-for sales (13,067) and more streams than any other track, it fully deserves to extend its residency.

The horrific car accident and healing process I went through really were a foundation for several songs on the album. Writing them served as a very therapeutic measure for me," Hilary said. CANADIAN NEWS
(28 May 2018) NEW MUSIC Jackie Guy "Right Now"
Jackie Guy, five-time Saskatchewan Country Music award nominee, was excited to share her latest, a sure summertime favourite, "Right Now" (released May 28 Amazon UK | UK iTunes). Produced by Beaird Music Group (Nashville) and Rich McFarlane of Mosaic Music (Prince Albert), "Right Now" is a high energy, uplifting love song penned by Jackie as a surprise for her husband to commemorate and celebrate 25 years of marriage.

Jackie Guy, has a knack for balancing family life and creative expression. Her long-standing passion for performing and writing country music began early on as bassist and lead vocalist in the band Young Country (winner of Best Original Song in the 1994 GX94 Talent Search) and later in Long Shot. Although away from the stage for a time to raise seven children, Jackie never stopped writing. In 2011, she made a bold return to recording with her first solo effort, Right Where I Wanna Be.
In January 2015, Guy released My Red Guitar, produced by Rich McFarlane (SCMA Guitar Player of The Year) and recorded at Mosaic Music in Prince Albert. In support of this album, Guy performed to a sold-out crowd at the Painted Hand Casino and made a series of casino appearances throughout the province. She debuted her single "Bridges" at the prestigious 2015 SCMA President's Banquet and through her strong social media presence, Guy's album caught the attention of Nashville producer Dean Miller. In August 2015, with encouragement from Miller and the boost of an Indiegogo campaign, Guy was able to make her Nashville dream a reality. She traveled to the country music mecca to rework her single "Bridges" and create a video with Miller and Emmy Award-winning videographer, Joel Evans, for submission to CMT.
Jason Blume's Masters Songwriting Class in early 2016 led Jackie back to her first love: songwriting. With new material in the works for an upcoming EP, Jackie looks forward to recording a collaborative effort with Rich McFarlane and Nashville-based Larry Beaird producing.
