Maren Morris and Zedd's big win at the 2019 iHeartRadio Music Awards got cut short.
The duo's hit "The Middle" took home the biggest award of the night, Song of the Year, at the awards ceremony, held at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday. Aerosmith legend Steven Tyler presented the trophy to the country star and the DJ, along with Kyle and Michael Trewartha of Grey, made their way up to the stage.

Morris lead the country music's nominees going into the awards show with four nodsl, appearing in both mainstream non-country categories including Song of the Year. Morris' nominations included: Song of the Year for "The Middle," her collaboration with Zedd and Grey, which also earned her hat tips for Best Collaboration and Dance Song of the Year.
She also scored a nom for Best Country Song for "Rich" and was there to present her friend Taylor Swift with the Tour of the Year award.

Onstage, she recounted her experience of performing with Swift, saying, "When her reputation tour came to Texas, Taylor was kind enough to invite me on stage to do a song with her in my hometown of Arlington. When it came time to perform it was just me her and like 100,000 people. Sharing that moment with a sea of faces vibing along with us was a thrill of a lifetime."
She admitted, however, that Swift's big snakes still give her nightmares. Morris' new single "Girl" is at country radio now."
