CMT premieres Reviver Records artist Michael Tyler's "Crazy Last Night"

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 26, 2016)

Reviver Records recording artist Michael Tyler is attracting legions of fans with his smooth vocals and now he’s providing a glimpse of his Missouri roots in a CMT premiere of his debut single “CRAZY LAST NIGHT,” available now through digital retailers. Watch the CMT exclusive premiere of “Crazy Last Night here (US Regions only).

"CRAZY LAST NIGHT" was recently selected as one of Billboard’s Country Songs of the Summer Picks and is currently playing on country radio. Tyler, already a No.1 songwriter, co-penned Dierks Bentley's two-week No.1 smash "Somewhere on a Beach."

You've been searching for something with tempo all summer, and here it is. "Crazy Last Night" is an easy listen; it's radio friendly,  extremely catchy  and upbeat. You'll find yourself whistling along with the song's chorus: "Crazy last night / No sippin' we were drinkin' from the bottle / Stealin' drunk kisses from a small town model / Crazy lost my mind / Don't know what I was thinking / Oh but I got crazy last night."

Tyler also penned Jason Aldean’s “Laid Back” on the Platinum selling album Old Boots New Dirt, three songs on the LOCASH album The Fighters (“Shipwrecked,” “Ain’t Startin Tonight,” and “Moonwalkin”) and a Jason Aldean/Kelsea Ballerini duet “First Time Again” on Aldean’s upcoming album They Don’t Know.

Hailing from Thayer, Missouri, known as a railroad town, it’s ironic that he is the descendant of the late, great Jimmie Rodgers, known as "The Father of Country Music" who learned his craft around the New Orleans and Northeastern Railroad.
At the age of 13, over a Myspace meeting, Tyler met award-winning producer Michael Knox (Jason Aldean/Thomas Rhett/Kelly Clarkson/Trace Adkins). After a few years of sending songs and ideas back and forth, Michael Tyler came to Nashville, TN to play a show at Tootsies Orchid Lounge for their first face-to-face meeting. At that time, Knox was hired by peermusic Nashville to help restructure the creative department. After watching Tyler play a few shows, Knox felt it was time for him to make the move to Nashville as a peermusic songwriter. The future has just started for this young singer/songwriter who is on the road touring all over the country with his energetic live show.

Michael was signed to Reviver Records roster in 2015 and his debut single "Crazy Last Night" impacted radio on June 27th. Reviver hired a full radio promotion staff to have the resources in place to push songs to mainstream radio (LooCash went top 5 with "I Love This Life").
