Described by The Bluegrass Situation as “filled with curiosity, emotion, and the subtle, intrinsic tones of a modern world unfolding," Pathways, co-produced by Taylor and Colin Linden (Emmylou Harris, Bruce Cockburn, Blackie and The Rodeo Kings), finds Taylor embracing a “simplify” mantra in his writing while showcasing his range as a writer and performer. This is exemplified on the album’s standout title track featuring Grammy winner Allison Russell, nominated for the UK Americana Music Awards International Song of the Year category.

For Taylor, Pathways speaks to finding “righteousness, acceptance, and enlightenment”—three words that perfectly describe the album. His latest release has seen him ranked alongside fellow Canadian folk music luminaries Bruce Cockburn, Leonard Cohen, Buffy Sainte-Marie and Joni Mitchell (KLOF Magazine).
