Megan Moroney Fast Forwards To “6 Months Later”

MEGAN MORONEY FAST FORWARDS TO  “6 MONTHS LATER”

POST-BREAKUP ANTHEM SETS THE SCENE FOR HOTTEST SONG OF THE SUMMER

After weeks of drumming up major anticipation, Country phenomenon Megan Moroney fast forwards to “6 Months Later.” With her fiery new song, the Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records singer/songwriter sets the scene for the hottest song of the summer.

Go here to listen to “6 Months Later” (preferred music platform) or watch Official Lyric Video below:

Written by Moroney, Ben Williams, David “Messy” Mescon, and Rob Hatch, “6 Months Later” marks one of the MULTI-PLATINUM hitmaker’s first new songs since the arrival of her massively acclaimed sophomore album Am I Okay? – a Billboard 200 Top 10 smash whose PLATINUM-certified title track recently hit No. 1 on Country radio, dominating the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart. In a winning glimpse at Am I Okay?’s highly awaited follow-up, “6 Months Later” finds Moroney at the top of her game as she delivers a brilliantly upbeat post-breakup anthem built on her signature mix of breezy humor and soul-baring emotion.

Produced by her longtime collaborator Kristian Bush — who also handled production on Am I Okay? and Moroney’s 2023 debut album LUCKY, featuring her 3X PLATINUM breakthrough single “Tennessee Orange” — “6 Months Later” kicks off with a bang as Moroney dishes the details on a devastating heartbreak: “Let me set you the scene/November circa 2019/Put a hole in my heart, watched it bleed/You said that we were better off as strangers/I was barely alive/Out of 6 feet deep, I was 5.” With its swinging rhythms, soulful steel guitar, and gorgeously catchy melodies, the track takes a turn at the chorus as her ex suddenly crashes back into her life: “It's a tale as old as time, I guess/When you couldn’t care more, I couldn’t care less/You’re a little too late to the party, heartbreaker/What doesn’t kill you calls you 6 months later.” Recorded at Blackbird Studios with an A-list lineup of musicians, “6 Months Later” amps up the triumphant energy at the bridge, with Moroney offering undeniable proof that living well is the best revenge: “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger/And blonder and hotter/Makes you wonder what you even saw in him at all.”

Since last July’s release of Am I Okay? (the year’s third-biggest Billboard 200 debut from a female Country artist), Moroney has ascended to a rare level of stardom that includes gracing the cover of Rolling Stone (who hailed her as “The Gen Z Country Queen We Need”), landing profiles in the print editions of elite publications like The New Yorker, and receiving the Rulebreaker Award at the 2025 Billboard Women in Music event. With over 3 BILLION total global streams across all platforms, she’s soaring up the charts again with her current single at Country radio “You Had To Be There” (a collaboration with Country legend Kenny Chesney, who enlisted Moroney as support for his stadium-filling SUN GOES DOWN 2024 TOUR). Despite her nonstop schedule, Moroney recently delighted her legion of fans by revealing to PEOPLE that “the next album is probably like 80% written.”

Fresh off her appearance at CMA Fest (where her set at the Chevy Riverfront Stage hit capacity in just two minutes due to a half-mile-long line of fans), Moroney continues her blockbuster AM I OKAY? TOUR tonight with a sold-out show at Stage AE Outdoors in Pittsburgh. With dates scheduled through October 12 at the Texas Trust CU Theatre in Dallas, the 50-date headline run includes two-night stands at famed spots like Roadrunner in Boston (August 1 and 2) and The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles (October 2 and 3) as well as stops at iconic venues like Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado (September 30). In addition, Moroney will perform at many of this summer’s biggest festivals, including Buckeye Country Superfest (June 21), Cowboys Music Festival 2025 (July 4), and Windy City Smokeout (July 12).

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 20, 2025) – Powerhouse country duo SmithField, hailing from Waxahachie, Texas, released their most personal single yet  Take Me To Texas.”

With their genre-blending style, signature harmonies, and heartfelt lyrics, SmithField delivers an emotional love letter to the Lone Star State — a place that shaped not only their sound, but their story. Listen here: sl.cmdshft.com/tmtt (preferred music platform) or below:

Their perfectly blended voices continue to elevate one another, track after track — and “Take Me To Texas” is no exception. With soaring vocal ranges, emotional depth, and unmistakable chemistry, SmithField proves once again why they are carrying the torch for duos in country music, both past and present. The release comes on the heels of their announcement of a collaboration with Bongo Roasting Co. on a coffee-blend called "Coffee With Heart" - available now at their website: www.smithfieldmusic.com/shop.

The name comes alongside their debut album, Country With Heart (Part One) which came out earlier this year . Part Two is due out later this year.

“We’ve tried to write a song about our home state for years but have never felt one was special enough to match how we feel about where we’re from until now. “Take Me To Texas” is a love letter to the roots that made Smithfield. Although it’s filled with all of the nostalgia and heart that we have for Texas, it’s for anyone who is proud of where they’re from.” said Jenn and Trey.

Don't bury me in Tennessee
Lay me underneath blue skies and blue bonnets
On the edge of town,
in a patch of ground By a stone with my grandma's name on it
When you lay me to rest
Won't you do it out west
My last request is Take me to Texas

Made up of lifelong friends Jennifer Fielder and Trey Smith, SmithField has been a rising force in country music since their formation in 2011. With smooth yet powerful vocals and emotionally resonant songwriting, the duo has built a loyal fanbase and critical acclaim alike. Now, with the release of “Take Me To Texas,” they’re building even more momentum in what’s shaping up to be a landmark year. Stay up to date at: smithfieldmusic.com

About SmithField
Rooted in stunning harmonies and heartfelt songwriting, SmithField, is a modern country duo inspired by one of country music’s long-standing legacies: the male-female duet.

SmithField hail from a small town in Texas, where they met at the age of 10, and their families go back 3 generations.
From the start, SmithField's music was a unique mix of the contemporary and the classic, blurring the boundaries between country, pop, and rock.

There's no lead singer in SmithField. No main songwriter, either. Instead, Jennifer and Trey split those duties equally, writing harmony-filled songs that explore love, loss, and life from both sides of a relationship. Since moving to Music City, their song “Hey Whiskey,” a Sirius XM radio ‘Highway Find’ in 2018 launched the duo into critically acclaimed artists that Rolling Stone, Billboard, People, and Forbes have all raved about and called the ‘Ones To Watch’ in country music.

The band has independently amassed over 130 million global streams, have 40 Grand Ole Opry performances to date, and released their debut album COUNTRY WITH HEART (PART ONE) on May 24, 2024. Part Two of the album is slated for release in Fall 2025. SmithField has opened for some of country music’s biggest acts including Old Dominion, Kane Brown, Brothers Osborne, Dustin Lynch, Morgan Wallen, and country legends Joe Nichols, Josh Turner, Diamond Rio, and Sara Evans, to name a few. William Beckmann’s “Need to Hear” Major Label Album Debut Drops

WILLIAM BECKMANN –  "A CLASSIC COUNTRY VOICE THAT IS BEGGING TO BE HEARD BY THE MASSES” – MAKES MAJOR LABEL DEBUT TODAY WITH “TIMELESS” NEW ALBUM WHISKEY LIES & ALIBIS

“Every Country Fan Needs to Hear” Beckmann’s Burnished Baritone – the Acclaimed 12-Song Collection Includes Nod to Bilingual Roots and Pulses with Honky Tonk Power, Loneliness and the Sting of Lost Love

Shot on 16mm Film, People.com Premieres the Cinematic, 70s-Inspired Music Video for “Lonely Over You”

Nashville, TN - June 20, 2025 - With a voice steeped in timeless, honeyed depth and a style rooted in tradition but built for now, William Beckmann makes his major label debut today with WHISKEY LIES & ALIBIS via Warner Music Nashville. Showcasing his knack for bringing classic storytelling of the past to the modern stage, this 12-song masterclass in heartbreak, resolve and reckoning is a layered country album dripping with Beckmann’s borderland soul, capturing the sting of lost love and the clarity that follows. Already garnering praise from critics and fans alike, WHISKEY LIES & ALIBIS is available now HERE

“William Beckmann is one helluva country artist…Beckmann’s sound is refreshing, timeless, and flawlessly highlights the roots of country music.” – Whiskey Riff

“[William Beckmann's] burnished baritone is as smooth and potent as any top-shelf bourbon, and is one every country music fan needs to hear. He’s also devoted himself to enduring country songcraft. When you possess a voice this commanding, this kind of direct, heartfelt missive sounds like a mainline from singer to listener.” – Billboard

“Singing in both Spanish and English, Beckmann's songs feel like a throwback to '80s neo-traditionalists like Randy Travis and Lyle Lovett as he looks backwards to push things forwards, reinventing, reimagining and refreshing the past with a deep affection for his country forefathers.” – Holler.

“Magnificently country.” – Music Row

“Whether William Beckmann is singing in English or Spanish, he can draw forth the deepest of emotions in his performances, and make you feel like you’re personally experiencing the inspirations behind his songs. He is quickly distinguishing himself as one of the premier traditional country singers of the new generation… a classic country voice that is begging to be heard by the masses. He’s one of those artists where you don’t wonder ‘if,' but ‘when' he’ll blow up on the national scene because there is too much talent here for it to be contained on a local or regional scale. Whiskey Lies and Alibis might be that ‘when' moment.” – Saving Country Music INSTAGRAM

“William Beckmann’s soulful, jazz-infused approach to country music caters to a specific corner of the country music community, while others miss out on a masterclass in vocal artistry. ['Honky Tonk Blue's] infectious cadence is sure to get feet tapping, while the smooth guitar slides make it impossible to resist the urge to dance...uniquely creative with the infusions of many different genres.” – Country Central

“Soulful storytelling, smooth vocals, and a whole lot of pedal steel.” – Stage Right Secrets

“William Beckmann perfectly illustrates how Mexican folk, Tejano music, and country have always been closely intertwined. Latin folk is Americana; mariachi and Norteño are country. With Good Country like his, that connectedness feels intuitive – and obvious.” – Ed Helms, The Bluegrass Situation

"‘Whiskey Lies & Alibis' is an impressive debut, rich with character, heartbreak, swagger and soul. Beckmann’s voice—a deep, Roy Orbison-meets-Johnny Cash croon—is the perfect instrument for these stories of forbidden love, border town blues and dancehall confessions. There’s enough George Strait traditionalism to satisfy purists, but also enough Tex-Mex flair and modern songwriting chops to feel fresh. Beckmann’s grasp of his roots, his influences, and his identity makes this more than just a debut—it’s a bold mission statement from a new voice who sounds like he’s been here forever.” -– Entertainment Focus REVIEW

People premiered the new music video for “Lonely Over You.” Wrapped in country swing and a hazy swirl of nostalgia, “Lonely Over You” finds Beckmann capturing the bittersweet duality of loneliness—and the quiet gratitude that comes from having loved at all. Directed by Jordan Thiem and Wes Ellis, the music video brings the seductive tension of the track to life as Beckmann takes the stage in a moodily smoke-filled retro TV studio. Shot on 16mm film at Aduro Studios in Austin, fans can watch the 70s-inspired music video below:

Beckmann co-wrote eight of the 12 tracks on WHISKEY LIES & ALIBIS, teaming up with some of Nashville’s most revered songwriters—Jessie Jo Dillon, Jesse Frasure and Rhett Akins among them. Together, they crafted vivid portraits of lonesome nights, blurred truths, and hearts that refuse to quit. Each song is guided by Grammy-winner Jon Randall’s finely tuned production, drawing on dusky guitars, rich pedal steel and Beckmann’s instantly recognizable voice.

The album opens with “Honky Tonk Blue,” a pedal-steel drenched shuffle written by Brice Long and Chris Stapleton (who held onto it for years before entrusting it to Beckmann). Elsewhere, the quiet ache of “Not That Strong” finds Beckmann at his most vulnerable, delivering a direct reflection on the weight of letting go.

“Game I Like to Play” brings a modern-classic feel to a brooding power ballad about diving headfirst into love, even when the odds are stacked against you, as the title track brings back the country cheating song with a rich, conflicted croon.

Others like “Be Your Man” inject an upbeat Texas sway into the album, and with the tender “Starting Over Again” Beckmann paints a descriptive, Dylan-worthy portrait of a shy heart. But a double shot of cultural-insight sets him further apart. Lost in love and happy to be there, “Borderline Crazy” puts some Latino flavor on a country-rock anthem.

Lastly, originally a 1998 hit for Mexican artist Pepe Aguilar, with “Por Mujeres Como Tú,” Beckmann introduces a different kind of classic, pointing back to his blended heritage, a tribute to a vibrant tradition.

(20 June 2025) William Beckmann - Whiskey Lies & Alibis (Warner Music Nashville) 12 songs, 41:01
Top Tracks: Not That Strong, Honky Tonk Blue, Whiskey Lies & Alibis, Game I Like to Play, Be Your Man, Borderline Crazy
The Texas crooner’s third album leans into classic country drama.

Ryan And Rory Reclaim A Lost Country Classic "Together Again (Feat. Jamey Johnson)"

Nashville, TN (June 20, 2025)Ryan and Rory breathe new life into a long-lost country gem with their latest release, “Together Again (feat. Jamey Johnson),” out now. Originally written decades ago by Ryan’s father, Keith Follesé, alongside Jamey Johnson and legendary WSIX radio personality Gerry House, the song never found a home—until now. (preferred music platform) or watch the official video below

Ryan first heard “Together Again” as a teenager, played live at the family kitchen table by his father and Johnson. “It was one of those songs that just stopped me in my tracks,” he recalls. “It was pure country with a storyline that hit different.” Though it was briefly held for Alan Jackson, the track fell through the cracks—until a conversation with Sony Music Publishing’s Tom Luteran reignited its journey.

Within 48 hours, the wheels were in motion. Jamey immediately signed on, telling Keith over lunch, “I’ll do anything for your boy.” Recorded in January 2024 at Ocean Way Studios and produced by Dann Huff, the track marks the first-ever collaboration between Huff and Johnson. The result is a cinematic moment in country music, brought to life by one of the genre’s most exciting new duos, a revered outlaw, and a legendary producer.

“They say Nashville is a storyteller town—and this one hits close to home,” says Ryan. “It’s about legacy, timing, and how a song can come full circle when the time is right.”

Fans will get to witness the moment live when Ryan and Rory return to the Grand Ole Opry stage on July 13.Named a SiriusXM The Highway “Highway Find,” “Ryan and Rory are primed to become the next major male duo in country music” (Music Mayhem). Ashley Ryan cranks up the volume with adrenaline and reckless youth rebellion in new single “Oughta Know Better”

ASHLEY RYAN CRANKS UP THE VOLUME WITH ADRENALINE AND RECKLESS YOUTH REBELLION IN NEW SINGLE “OUGHTA KNOW BETTER”

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 20, 2025) - Rising country artist Ashley Ryan cranks up the volume with reckless youth and small-town rebellion in her electrifying new single, “Oughta Know Better” - available on all digital streaming platforms.

Claiming a spot on Holler.’s 10 Artists You Need To Know list (4/17), Ryan “proves she’s not just playing the part of a 90s-inspired country artist—she’s living it, breathing it, and making it feel brand new,” (All Country News). Setting the tone for a coming-of-age ride filled with grit and consequence, the tune, co-written by Larry McCoy, Daniel Leathersich, Ryan Brisotti and Ryan herself, is a backroads anthem soaked in teenage adrenaline, cheap beer, and the kind of lessons you learn the hard way.

Listen to “Oughta Know Better” HERE (preferred music platform) or below:
“‘Oughta Know Better’ is a punchy, nostalgic nod to the reckless side of young love—the kind that leaves you with stories, scars, and a little more wisdom,” Ryan said of the release. “It captures that wild window of time when you’re old enough to know better but too stubborn to care. With vivid storytelling, a driving melody, and a character named Bobby at the wheel of an old Toyota, the song paints the picture of a girl chasing adrenaline and ignoring every warning sign. It’s a little messy, a little romantic, and completely honest—because sometimes the choices we regret the most also shape us the most.”

“Oughta Know Better” follows the April release of Ryan’s full-throttle, no-brakes love story, “My Crazy," deemed “a lively, twang-laced ride that effortlessly blends the heart-fluttering spontaneity of new love with the fiddle-forward flair of ‘90s country,” (All Country News). Noting the cues of a promising young love, Ryan finds herself somewhere between love and lust, “it’s fearless, it’s fiery, and it’s completely unforgettable,” (Fandom Daily). “My Crazy” recently released to country radio nationwide and is currently going for adds.

Ryan’s March release, “Wrong Post,” dishes out a warning to an ex about his new flame - and wishes him the luck that he will surely need. The official video for the song, which premiered exclusively with CMT, features Ryan waitressing at a drama-filled dive bar, crushing over her manager, who is seemingly into another employee.

Ryan burst onto the scene in 2023, when her debut song with Spinville Entertainment, “Hush Little Baby,” quickly went viral, amassing over 35 million views on TikTok and Facebook, and nearly 16 million streams on Spotify alone. “Full-fledged barn-burner” (Billboard) “Too Far Gone,” is yet another example of Ryan’s powerhouse vocals and a nod to the female stars that inspire her. “I grew up singing ‘Before He Cheats’ and ‘Gunpowder and Lead.’ I really love fiddle in a song - I love that old traditional country, the grungy female country with the sassy drop D guitar and rolling banjo. So that’s what you’ll get from me.”

About Ashley Ryan:
With an “abundance of firepower” (
Billboard), Corona, California native and Spinville Entertainment artist Ashley Ryan is taking Nashville’s music scene by storm. An early penchant for poetry led to a natural progression into songwriting at 16, when her grandfather gifted her her first guitar. “I didn’t have anyone to sing my songs, so I started singing them myself, and it just seemed to work.”

Shortly after discovering her vocal talents, and after giving college a try in her home state, she ventured east to Nashville to continue her journey (and college at Belmont University) in country music’s capital.

Capturing emotions from heartbreak to honkytonk, Ashley’s music provides listeners with an energy and authenticity that gives listeners a classic country tune with a modernized twist. Shortly after the move to Music City, her musical talents were recognized by 4x GRAMMY® Award-winning country star Keith Urban at a private event. A quick dialogue between the two led to an impromptu duet of Keith’s hit song “Without You” - ultimately leading to an invitation to perform the duet again at Urban’s sold-out show at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.

The single was produced by acclaimed songwriter and producer Jimmy Ritchey, who had high praise for the rising star. “Tori Rose is an impeccable singer who never has a bad day in the studio,” Ritchey says. “She’s a stellar songwriter and she reminds me a lot of Sam Hunt when I signed him to his first publishing deal. Tori is a true creative and I’m thrilled I got to produce ‘Back Home’ for her.”

Known for her distinctive vocals and raw lyrical authenticity, Tori continues to carve out a space for herself in modern country music by writing from the heart. With “Back Home,” she delivers an honest portrayal of the inner conflict that many face when reconciling love, loyalty, and the desire to chase something bigger than what they’ve always known.

“I always hear songs about either loving your hometown or hating it. For me, though, it was a little bit of both,” Tori shares. “I wrote ‘Back Home’ from personal experience about having a love-hate relationship with where you grew up. And I really believe anyone who has made that big decision to leave their hometown will be able to relate to this song.”
Built around acoustic guitar and honest storytelling, the track shows how Tori’s sound is growing while staying true to her roots. Written from a personal place, it connects with anyone who’s felt the weight of small town expectations. The mix of traditional country vibes with a modern edge keeps it fresh, while still letting the emotion shine through.

ABOUT TORI ROSE

Hailing from the banks of the Monongahela River in Southwestern Pennsylvania’s Allegheny Mountains, Tori Rose found her love for country music early on, inspired by days spent boating with her family. Her sound weaves together the heart of traditional country - drawing from icons like Dolly Parton and Hank Williams Jr. - with modern influences such as Carrie Underwood and Little Big Town.

By age 6, Tori was already learning piano, ukulele, and guitar, and by 13, she was honing her vocal skills.

Throughout her childhood, she performed in school choirs, musicals, and talent competitions, where her natural talent quickly earned recognition.

At just 12 years old, she landed her first major performances, taking the stage at Pittsburgh’s Hard Rock Cafe and singing the National Anthem for Monster Jam at PPG Paints Arena. Her performance résumé has grown steadily since, with appearances at festivals and venues like Bloomfest 2020, Virtual Festival 2020, Tin Roof Orlando, Disney Springs’ AMC Theatre, Live Oak Nashville, and Ole Red Orlando - where she won their 2021 Battle of the Bands.

Now 20, Tori has relocated to Nashville to fully chase her dreams, dedicating herself to writing and recording a growing collection of singles. Her autobiographical track “17” offered fans a glimpse into her personal journey, while her newest release, “If Drinking Was A Sport,” delivers her signature mix of sharp lyrics and infectious melodies - earning praise and building her following along the way. With new music on the horizon, Tori continues to make her mark as a rising voice in country music.
Beyond her bold lyrics and unmistakable twang, Tori’s grit and drive are what set her apart. She brings a mix of youthful honesty and mature perspective, creating music that resonates deeply with country fans of all ages.
