About David Nail
Hailing from Kennett, Missouri, David Nail is well-respected up and down Music Row.
Some might even call him a “tour de force” as his songs pull no punches in evoking the demons with which he has wrestled through much of his life.

The GRAMMY-nominated multi-platinum singer/songwriter’s early releases, I’m About To Come Alive, The Sound Of A Million Dreams, I’m A Fire and Fighter, ignited his reputation as an innovator and creative risk-taker yet left Nail feeling restless. This led to the departure of the only record company home he’d ever known, MCA Nashville, where he’d formed friendships that endure even now.

Through dealing with his own journey of mental illness and the feeling of needing to “rebel against what people expect you to be,” Nail began making his most “organic” work to date, David Nail & The Well Ravens, with Jason Hall and Andrew Petroff. That project liberated Nail and propelled him into his next adventure.

Writing solo for the next few months led to his debut solo independent EP Oh, Mother, a reflective piece of work. Of the title track, Rolling Stone noted that “the song creeps in like a sunrise — quiet, restrained cello and keys are the only underpinning for Nail’s powerful vocals at first. But then it slowly builds to something more massive and majestic.” That release was followed by Bootheel 2020 and Bootheel 2021, projects dedicated to the singer/songwriter’s hometown in the “bootheel” of Missouri. Nail plans on releasing more music, leaving behind any self-imposed restrictions. In Nail’s own words, “My philosophy has always been, I just hope to have a good enough year that I can have a next year while staying as true to myself as I possibly can.” Find more at davidnail.com.

Hillary Scott Proclaims “It’s Hard to Wait for Christmas” with Daughter Eisele Kay

HILLARY SCOTT AND DAUGHTER EISELE KAYE SHARE JOY WITH PLAYFUL “HARD TO WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS” DUET - OUT NOW

Join the Whole Family for a Behind the Scenes Look from the Studio and Holiday Photo Shoot in Heartwarming Music Video

Nashville, TN - November 15, 2024 – GRAMMY® Award-winner Hillary Scott of Lady A and her eleven-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye, are ready to bring on the holiday season with their new track “Hard To Wait For Christmas,” a joyous instant holiday classic, available HERE (preferred music platform) or listen below:

Written by Scott, her husband Chris Tyrrell and Eisele Kaye, the idea for the song was sparked by a family conversation about an advent calendar, and how - even for grownups - it’s hard to wait for Christmas.

Produced by Scott, Tyrrell and Ryan Gore, the song's harmony of brassy trombones and hint of jingle bells ignites the Christmas cheer for all ages and reminisces on the many things that make the holiday season so special.

We hope this song makes families smile and encourages them to laugh and have fun together as they wait patiently (or not!) for Christmas,” shared Scott. “My favorite line from the song is about how it feels better to give than to receive, and if we could say anything about the Christmas season, it is that we hope you have a giving heart. That’s what really makes Christmas special -  the gift of your time to the people you love, and the gift of your generosity to those in need."

Featuring homemade cookies, sprinkled giggles and countless heartwarming family moments, the video for “Hard To Wait For Christmas” is available to watch HERE.

With behind-the-scenes clips from the studio recording the song and their Christmas card photoshoot, the family's video including twin sisters Emory and Betsy, perfectly captures the season's wonder and the palpable love that fills the air during the holiday season.

A nine-time GRAMMY® Award-winner, Hillary Scott is one-third of superstar group Lady A, with whom she's earned 11 No. One hits, countless awards including Billboard Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards, and took home ACM and CMA "Vocal Group of the Year” trophies three years in a row. Lady A is best known for rich vocal harmony, vivid emotional writing and a smooth fusion of country, rock and pop, having now long been a model of mainstream success. The group has become one of the 21st century’s premier vocal groups, blending deeply felt emotions with classic Country sounds.

In addition to co-writing chart-topping Lady A hits, including the 11x PLATINUM hit “Need You Now," Scott has also written for artists such as Blake Shelton and Sara Evans, penning Evans' No. One hit, "A Little Bit Stronger.” Scott's spirited release from Hillary Scott & The Scott Family claimed the top spot of the Billboard Christian Albums chart with their debut album LOVE REMAINS, with Hillary Scott & The Scott Family earning a GRAMMY® Award for the album as well as for the album’s chart-topping single, “Thy Will.” For more information, visit LadyAMusic.com.

Caylee Hammack Delivers Her Twangy Take On "Blue Christmas"

CAYLEE HAMMACK DELIVERS HER TWANGY TAKE ON “BLUE CHRISTMAS” - OUT NOW

Nashville, TN - October 18, 2024 - Known best for her sonic storytelling, Capitol Records Nashville’s Caylee Hammack released her emotive rendition of the timeless holiday tune “Blue Christmas,” available to listen HERE.

First famously cemented as a rock-n-roll holiday classic by Elvis Presley, Hammack’s rendition of "Blue Christmas" is imbued with steel guitar twang and a yearnful warble, evoking even more of the vivid emotions the classic is best known for with a country twist.

“I never knew Blue Christmas needed a steel guitar solo until I spent some time reimagining this song, and Bruce Bowden brought the twang we needed to country fry this classic Christmas canon,” said Hammack. “I take the holidays as a time to revisit old memories and old songs, even when it wasn’t always a happy time for me, but I’ve come around that bend. Every year that I get to produce another Christmas record to share, makes me feel more in love with this season.”

Earlier this year, Hammack marked the beginning of her next sonic chapter with the releases of “The Hillfeaturing Foy Vance, “weaving in strands of Celtic and bluegrass influences with fiddle and stomping rhythms, “The Hill” highlights Hammack’s ceiling-scraping, soulful warble with Vance’s craggy, full-throttle vocal,” (Billboard).  The track was followed by “Breaking Dishes,” a “personality-packed bopper” that further displays Hammack as “busting with talent and has long deserved major stardom” (Music Row).

About Caylee Hammack
Capitol Nashville “songwriter/producer/full-throttle vocalist” (HITS) Caylee Hammack has carved a place for herself in country music, acclaimed as an artist who “bleeds creativity, fire and determination so completely that she’s a beacon in an industry of thousands” (The Tennessean). Now laying the groundwork for her next creative chapter, the rising star is rooted in fostering her most authentic sound, working alongside Brother Osborne’s John Osborne, together paying homage to the stories and characters that shaped her into the person she is today. Hammack released her debut record IF IT WASN’T FOR YOU with writer and producer credits for the entire project, earning high praise from critics, with Billboard declaring "Hammack deserves to be a star.”

Tapping Chris Stapleton for a guest vocal on a new version of her deeply personal song “Small Town Hypocrite,” co-written and co-produced by Hammack, she garnered even more acclaim, with NPR and Esquire singling out the track as one of their “Best Songs of 2020.” Winning ACM “Music Event Of The Year,” with Miranda Lambert for “Fooled Around And Fell In Love,” Caylee Hammack has been noted as an “Artist To Watch” by outlets including The Bobby Bones ShowRolling Stone and HITS Magazine for her “voice to move mountains” (Rolling Stone). CONTROVERSY
Morgan Wallen No Show At CMA Awards?
This years CMA awards, widely considered the biggest country music awards, were missing Morgan Wallen, entertainer of the year.
The CMA Entertainer of The Year hasn't openly spoken out about why he didn't show up. However, looking at his past experiences with the show. The previous three years he had been banned from the show for using a racial slur. Since then, the CMA board decided to keep their distance from Morgan Wallen.
However, now his penance has been paid, they're ready to welcome him back. But, it seems he isn't ready to just let them tell him what to do. Rather than heeding their beck and call, he's playing by his own rules. Wallen will show up to the CMA awards when he is good and ready, not when he's told to.
As another gaff, Jeff Bridges didn't even pronounce his name correctly. SOURCE: Wide Open Country.com

Jeff Bridges suffers awkward fail at the 2024 CMA Awards while announcing biggest award of night
Jeff Bridges ended the 2024 Country Music Association Awards on an embarrassing note when he mispronounced the name of the winner of the ceremony's top honor.
Bridges, 74, was on hand to present Entertainer of the Year, which not only covers country artists' recordings but also their live performances and contribution to country music as a whole.
But Bridges left fans cringing after he messed up the last name of the winner — Morgan Wallen, who didn't even attend the ceremony — during an otherwise upbeat presentation.
'Ahh, man! I should come here more often, man!' Bridges said, briefly sounding like his iconic Big Lebowski character, after he was introduced on stage to rapturous applause. 'Pretty wild!'
'It's the biggest award of the night, so let's not screw around, OK?' Bridges added ironically. SOURCE dailymail.co.uk

Shaboozey - Making Waves: He shook up the red carpet in a LA ROXX neon mint suit design collaboration with Neon Complex (ANASTASIA WALKER) – IMAGE

For shoes, the crystal embellishments kept on. Instead of wearing a pair of
Crox cowboy boots as might be expected (and as he typically wears,) Shaboozey chose a pair of custom Crocs. The comfortable shoe was done in black. True to the classic Croc, it has holes throughout. But to make it red carpet appropriate, the shoe has been customized: it is covered in black crystals, some of which sparkle in the light.

Collins Obinna Chibueze (born May 9, 1995), known professionally as Shaboozey, is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer whose music combines hip hop, country, rock.
His stage name is derived from mispronunciations of his surname, meaning "God is king" in Igbo.
He gained initial attention for his 2018 song "Start a Riot" (with Duckwrth), which was included on the soundtrack to Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. In 2024, he collaborated with Beyoncé on two tracks from her eighth studio album, Cowboy Carter.

Shaboozey has creating one of the most popular songs of the year. The musician’s monster hit “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” was up for Single of the Year at the 2024 CMA Awards on Wednesday night. Thanks to the track’s success, the 29-year-old is also the fifth Black musician to be nominated in the New Artist category. He is set to perform the song at the ceremony, as well as his new single “Highway.”
“A Bar Song (Tipsy)” has topped the Billboard Hot 100 for 18 weeks, making it the longest-running No. 1 song by a solo artist in the chart’s history. The breakout artist and his infectious tune surpassed the previous record, set by Morgan Wallen’s “Last Night” in 2023, earlier this month.
The artist’s stage moniker actually dates back to his high school days, when his football coach misspelled and mispronounced his last name, Chibueze. “It’s something everyone around town called me—it’s kind of just stuck, so I picked it and kept it pushing,” he told New Wave Magazine.

Tucker Wetmore - 25, cut a handsome figure in an olive green velvet suit and a black cowboy hat.
