The rising Nashville artist returns to the UK later this month

Weds, 10th Oct 2018 - This week, country star Russell Dickerson is celebrating his second consecutive US Country Radio #1 single and RIAA gold certification with his fan-favourite Summer anthem “Blue Tacoma”  ahead of his latest trip to the UK later in October.

Inspired by a sun-drenched road-trip with his wife along Southern California’s famed Pacific Coast Highway, the track is taken from his full-length Top Five debut album “Yours” (Sony Music UK / Triple Tigers), and has now made its way to the top of both the Billboard Country charts and the Mediabase Country Radio charts.

“Blue Tacoma has been such a crazy fun ride. It has been amazing to see it catch fire and go all the way to the top! And not only a No. 1 single but now an RIAA certified GOLD single as well. Now having two number ones in a single year is a dream come true for me! 2018 has undeniably proven to be a landmark year for the artist. In addition to the chart success with debut single “Yours”, Dickerson also made his late-night USA TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel Live in February. In addition, the Platinum-selling singer/songwriter nabbed his first-ever ACM nomination for “New Male Vocalist of the Year” and his first-ever CMT nomination for “Breakthrough Video of the Year”.

After spending the last three months on the road with Lady Antebellum and Darius Rucker on their North American “Summer Plays On” Tour and now, having headlined the Nashville Meets London festival last year, and being highlighted as one of the standout artists at this year’s C2C festival, Russell Dickerson returns to the UK this month to support Rucker’s six-date national tour, and to play his own headline show at The Borderline, London (27th October) as part of Country Music Week. Emerging Nashville-born country artist Russell Dickerson has revealed his debut album Yours, set for release on October 13th via Sony Music. The twelve-track LP comes hot off the back of his blistering headline performance at this year’s Nashville Meets London festival, as well as arena tours with Thomas Rhett and Kelsea Ballerini. The album is available for pre-order now HERE

The first single is fan-favourite and title track ‘Yours’. Described as a “humble love song that grows into a powerful wedding anthem” by Taste Of Country, the single is currently making its ascent on the US country radio charts.
Penned by Dickerson, Brown and Parker Welling, ‘Yours’ has garnered over 40 million digital streams to date, where he’s been on Spotify’s Hot Country, Country Gold Playlists and more for over a year.
The track is written for his wife, who also shot and produced the music video that now has more than 3 million views.

Produced by Casey Brown, the album will include popular tracks currently on his EP including ‘Blue Tacoma’, ‘MGNO’ and ‘Every Little Thing’, plus seven further cuts for followers to devour. All of the songs on Yours are co-written by Dickerson.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Russell Dickerson has “possibly written one of the sweetest love songs in country music” in “Yours” (Taste of Country), a single impacting Country radio today that is resonating with tens of millions of fans having already garnered more than 30 million Spotify streams and 3 million-and-counting views for the music video to date.

On the heels of Dickerson wrapping the first leg of Thomas Rhett’s Home Team Tour with a two-night, blowout that was “a little bit country, a little bit rock ‘n roll and a whole lot of fun” (The Tennessean) in Dickerson’s hometown of Nashville, Tenn., streaming and SiriusXM hit, “Yours,” impacts terrestrial radio today, April 24.
