Amazon Music Unlimited or Spotify: Which offers better sound?

Amazon hasn't revealed the streaming bitrate quality of its library, but it’s probably at 320kbps (Highest MP3 quality) and this would put it on par with Spotify who reserve the 320kbps streaming quality for its Spotify Premium tier (advert free). It's called high quality on computer and extreme quality on mobile. If you use the free tier and listen on a mobile, you can choose between 96kbps normal quality or 160kbps high quality. The same 160kbps streams are called standard quality on computer with adverts.

AMAZON MUSIC UNLIMITED has announced a FAMILY subscription plan (Amazon.com), allowing up to six family members access to its streaming service for only $14.99 a month for both PRIME (Amazon.com) and non-PRIME customers, or $149 a year for PRIME members.

All family members can stream as much music as they want, anytime, anywhere, and at the same time. In addition, each account member gets personalized recommendations from tens of millions of songs, and thousands of playlists and stations available on the service.

CMA "Entertainer of the Year" nominee Garth Brooks continues to heighten anticipation and set the pace for the release of his upcoming 11th studio album, revealing to fans the cover art and title: GUNSLINGER, during his weekly “Inside Studio G” Facebook series.  Drawing inspiration from quarterbacks who make fast and fearless moves, the album title first appeared during this weekend's SEC Game of the Week on CBS, where his song “Pure Adrenaline” serves as the amped up theme.  The unyielding confidence of GUNSLINGER parallels Brooks’ live show, filled with risk, energy, heart and unpredicted outcomes.  The album will be released on Nov. 25 on Pearl Records, Inc.

The first single taken from the album, "Baby, Let's Lay Down And Dance" (Pearl), debuted today at No.19 on the Billboard Country Airplay chart and No.36 on Billboard Hot Country Songs. It’s the most added song at Country radio this week.

Brooks ties for his second-best debut of the past decade on Country Airplay, as the new single bounded in at No.19 with 12.1 million impressions and received 1543 radio spins thanks to 84 fresh radio commitments (ADDS) .

Brooks also started at No. 19 on Sept. 20, 2014, with “People Loving People” (marking the song’s peak). He is the only artist ever to debut at No. 1 on Airplay, as “More Than a Memory” entered at the pinnacle on Sept. 15, 2007.

“Dance” marks the highest arrival on Country Airplay since Miranda Lambert’s “Vice” entered the Aug. 6 chart at No.18.

Written by Brooks, Kent Blazy, Steve Dorff, Victoria Shaw and the late Kim Williams, “Dance” is the first single from Brooks’ 11th studio album, GUNSLINGER, due Nov. 25 (aka Black Friday).

Critics have leapt to spotlight the "surprisingly sexy" track with Rolling Stone praising that "the upbeat country tune with Southern rock-inspired guitar riffs has a timeless sound."

"The album title GUNSLINGER came to me when somebody asked me what my favorite thing about being on the road was," said Brooks. "I said 'It just feels good to be out there being a Gunslinger again. Just aiming with the heart and shooting from the hip, that's what you do on the stage, right?
