NASHVILLE, Tenn. (February 16, 2018) —International country storyteller, Marta released her highly-anticipated debut album The Story today. The Story features nine boldly original songs, all written or co-written by Marta, encompassing every listener’s ear, whether they’re searching for a feel-good tune or a heartbreak melody.

“I decided to call the album The Story because as a songwriter, I live to tell stories, I dream with my eyes open and turn real life experiences and words I can’t say into lyrics,” said Marta. “This album tells a part of my story, it’s who I was, who I am and who I aspire to be. I hope it inspires you to take a pen, open up a page and start writing your story.” 

Her debut single “All About Us” and accompanying music video was released in October of 2017 and is featured on the game apps “Dancing Line” and “Piano Tiles 2,” which altogether have more than one billion downloads. 

The music video has received more than 1.7 million views on YouTube with 30,000 likes. “All About Us” hit #1 on the Google Store country charts in Germany and #4 in Norway, and now Marta is looking to make her mark on the American charts with this highly-anticipated new album. 

UPDATE (Feb 22, 2018) Marta released her music video for “I Need A Love Story” exclusively on Taste of Country on Valentine's Day. In only one week the video has garnered over 200,000 views on YouTube. Again, it appears as a new level on the app 'Dancing Line' and in 'Piano Tiles 2.'
