March 25, 2019 NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Known for her stunning renditions of some of today’s most popular music, Danielle Bradbery has released her version of Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s “Shallow.” The song is available everywhere now and features Parker McCollum trading vocals with the ACM New Female Vocalist of the Year nominee. The iconic film inspired Bradbery so much that she immediately wanted to put her special spin on the OSCAR-winning tune. Listen HERE.

Release Date: 22 Mar. 2019
Label: BMLG Records
Total Length: 3:27
Genres: Country

“When I heard ‘Shallow’ from
A Star is Born for the first time, I was blown away. The lyrics, arrangement, Gaga’s voice and the emotion…I was just speechless,” shares Bradbery. “Yet as a singer, I couldn’t wait to find a partner to record this song with.”

In December, the Texas native was back home in Houston and attended one of McCollum’s shows. Seeing the crowd’s reaction to her fellow Texan’s performance, Bradbery felt he was the right person for this project. The duo stepped into a Nashville studio with producer Dann Huff and the results are enviable.

About Danielle Bradbery
“Shallow” is the follow-up to Bradbery’s popular “Yours Truly: 2018” series featuring her take on Ariana Grande’s “God is a Woman,” Post Malone’s “Psycho” and Kacey Musgraves’ “Slow Burn.” The cover tracks shadow her sophomore album
I Don’t Believe We’ve Met on BMLG Records. As the title suggests, Bradbery re-introduced herself after taking time since her debut LP to focus on the writing process. For the first time truly infusing her own story into her songs, Bradbery penned seven of the album’s 10 tracks. Lead single “Sway” perfectly combined her R&B, Soul and Country influences, while empowering follow-up anthem “Worth It” led to national TV performances of the emotional tune on NBC’s “TODAY” and “The Voice.” Bradbery recently returned to the radio airwaves with “Goodbye Summer,” a fresh take on album cut “Hello Summer” with Thomas Rhett adding a male perspective to the seasonal story of love and heartbreak. Bradbery has been fine-tuning her unique sound since winning Season 4 of NBC’s “The Voice” and has since garnered multiple ACM nominations as well as being up for CMT Breakthrough Video of the Year and CMT Performance of the Year. She is currently touring fairs and festivals across the country and abroad after kicking off the year on Kane Brown’s Live Forever Tour.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vocal powerhouse Danielle Bradbery is marking the end of an incredible year in music with a series of covers entitled “Yours Truly: 2018.” Billboard premiered Bradbery's “striking cover” of “God Is A Woman” by pop superstar Ariana Grande Thursday, Dec. 20, and announced that her take on “Slow Burn” by Kacey Musgraves and “Psycho” by Post Malone will follow.

“I grew up listening to all kinds of music from country to R&B and hip hop, even Hispanic music with my mom’s side of the family, and all of those influences have impacted my own art,” Bradbery shared with Billboard. “Incredible music was released across all genres this year, so I wanted to mark this moment in time with my own versions of some of my favorites. I can’t wait for everyone to hear my take on these songs.”

The two additional “Yours Truly: 2018” songs, also massive hits from the past year, will be released in the coming weeks.

Former The Voice USA winner Danielle Bradbery latest single, 'Goodbye Summer', a foot-tapping ode to short-lived romance recorded with multi-platinum certified artist and close friend Thomas Rhett, is out today via Big Machine Records (Taylor Swift, Midland).

Country music songstress Danielle Bradbery has unveiled her new single ‘Goodbye Summer’ with multi-PLATINUM artist and friend Thomas Rhett. The foot-tapping ode to short-lived romance is available at all digital retailers now.

The bittersweet song is a reimagining of ‘Hello Summer’ from Bradbery’s sophomore album I DON’T BELIEVE WE’VE MET (BMLG Records), now with an added male perspective.

Release Date: 3 August 2018

Label: BMLG Records

Total Length: 3:08

Genres: Country

Thomas Rhett, who wrote the original rendition alongside Rhett Akins, Julian Bunetta and the Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston, joins Bradbery on the track that Taste of Country calls a “breezy pop-infused song tinged with heartbreak, [which] paints a romantic but realistic picture of the ups and downs of love that comes with an expiration date.”

Listen to “Goodbye Summer” as Danielle Bradbery explains getting Thomas Rhett on the single. Thomas Rhett explains what it’s like to work with Danielle and explains how the song came about”

Thomas Rhett was one of the first mentors I had in Nashville and we’ve become really good friends over the years. He's like a big brother to me, so to be able to record a song he wrote was incredibly special,” explains Bradbery. “I remember when I first heard the demo, I actually jammed to it with Thomas Rhett's vocal on it as if it wasn't even going to be mine. Now to have the opportunity to re-record the song with him - it’s a dream scenario.”

It’s been fun watching this song evolve since I first recorded the demo” Thomas Rhett said. “Danielle’s voice really took it to another level, and I’m pumped that we got the chance to team up on a new version. It’s always a blast getting to create with your friends.”

‘Goodbye Summer’ is the follow-up to Bradbery’s empowering single ‘Worth It’, a self-penned anthem which served as an introduction to her vulnerable and introspective songwriting.

Danielle Bradbery returned to NBC’s THE VOICE to perform “Worth It”; Shares 4-Year Transformation

DANIELLE BRADBERY SHINES ON RETURN TO NBC’s THE VOICE
Four Years Later, the Season 4 Winner Performed “Worth It”

LOS ANGELES — After winning Season 4 of NBC’s The Voice in 2013, Danielle Bradbery found success, yet she still felt like she needed to find her own identity. Wanting to take hold of the creative process on her next project, she took four years to hone her writing skills and come into her own. The Texas-native showed that transformative sound when she returned to its stage for a live performance of her album cut, “Worth It,” in celebration of her BMLG Records sophomore album,  I DON’T BELIEVE WE’VE MET, that NPR calls “a significant, and successful, reinvention captured in a taut 10 tracks,” available now.
“I am so thankful to everyone at The Voice and to all the incredible fans that have supported me along the way. They have stuck with me all this time and it’s incredible,” explained Bradbery. “I had some growing up to do since I won, so it was amazing to return where it all started for me, to show everyone how much I’ve grown, and what I’ve been up to.”
A stark difference from the denim and country boots she wore on the show in 2013, Bradbery re-introduced herself last night singing the track that Rolling Stone calls “gutsy” and “self-assured.” A long way from the bubbly songs she recorded at age 17, “Worth It,” People says focuses with  “emotion is the focal point,” and speaks to the confidence the singer found in the last four years.

The tune, that shot to Top 5 on the iTunes Country Songs chart after The Voice performance, demonstrates the re-introductory nature of I DON’T BELIEVE WE’VE MET, that led to the Washington Post to tout Bradbery’s “powerful ballads” in a profile.
“‘Worth It’ is such a perfect song to re-introduce myself to fans,” Bradbery continues. “I was so shy when I won this show. I needed this song to remind me to stand up for myself, and I hope it will help fans gain confidence as they conquer their dreams.”
For the first time co-writing seven out of 10 songs on the new album, NPR recognizes Bradbery has a “newfound diaristic punch.” Her hometown paper, the Houston Chronicle declared the album is “a rebirth, a portrait of personal and musical evolution,” that is “one of the year's nicest surprises, a cohesive collection of musings on relationships with nary a wasted moment.”

"'Hello Summer' actually came to me from Thomas Rhett who had co-written the song while writing for his own album with his dad Rhett Akins, Jaren Johnston and his producer Julian Bunetta” Bradbery explains.

“He felt like the song could be re-written with a female perspective and so I sat down with his dad Rhett, and he re-wrote some of the lyrics to fit my voice.  Julian agreed to produce it, and I'm so proud of how it turned out. It's one of the few I didn't co-write myself but I feel it really speaks to the same emotional theme of the record and pushes the boundaries sonically into new territory for me.”
Written by Rhett Akins, One Direction producer Julian Bunetta, The Cadillac Three’s Jaren Johnston and country superstar Thomas Rhett, “Hello Summer” is about a summer love that takes the singer’s heart as her crush leaves at the end of the season. The apt song wraps with summer slipping away, closing with below lyrics:
Goodbye summer, you tore me apart
Blue eyes and blue skies, fade into the dark
Letting go is the hardest part
Hello summer, goodbye to my broken heart
My broken heart

Following the release of her lead single “Sway” that is currently at radio, Bradbery revealed "Human Diary," a song Rolling Stone Country deemed “raw” and “heartfelt," last month.
