Twinnie Shares The New Single ‘Woah Man’

UK AND IRELAND HEADLINE TOUR CONFIRMED FOR JUNE

Twinnie Releases Fierce Feminist Anthem “Woah Man” in Honor of Women’s History Month

A UK artist who is making an increasingly substantial impact in the Nashville scene, Twinnie excels at uniting country’s storytelling heart with an instantly appealing pop energy and determined self-empowerment. Those traits all shine proudly as Twinnie shares her brand new single ‘Woah Man’. Listen HERE.
(preferred music platforms) or below:

Opening with a sassy R&B strut, ‘Woah Man’ launches into anthemic pop-country territory as Twinnie’s consistently classy voice affirms the incredible powers of inspiring women everywhere. It’s a serious point made in rousing and engaging style, with Twinnie audibly relishing punchy, women-first lyrics such as, “Close a business deal with a baby on my hip.”

Appropriately enough, ‘Woah Man’ was the product of Twinnie’s own non-profit initiative I Know A Woman, which aims to support female creatives with funding, opportunities and community. She wrote the song at a I Know A Woman writing camp in collaboration with John Davidson and solo artist Abby Anderson, before co-producing the track alongside KK Johnson (Dasha) and Brandon Paddock (Dan + Shay).

Twinnie says, “This song is a global statement to highlight the incredible women around the world in all industries, whether it be our nurses, doctors, creatives, politicians, teachers or your stay at home mums. It signifies the resilience and power of what it is to be a woman and celebrates all those that have come before us.

The person I think of when I sing this is a woman that raised three children as a single mother working four jobs with the help of her mum. She has dedicated her life to taking care of her children. To others she may not be a Nobel Prize winner or hold a world record, but to me she embodies what it is to be a woman and the best mum in the world.

Heavily inspired by Aretha Franklin's 'Respect', 'Whoa Man' commands a man to listen in a way that is not above each other but equal.”

Twinnie will play the Red Rooster Festival in Norfolk before heading out on her headline ‘Happy Hour Tour ‘25’ which includes a London show at Oslo. Further festival dates follow later this year with Country Road, Keep It Country and Hoe Down Show Down already confirmed.

Fall in Love with Twinnie’s Heartfelt New Single ‘Worst Kind of Crush’

Fall in Love with Twinnie’s Heartfelt New Single ‘Worst Kind of Crush’
Now Available On All Streaming Platforms

Nashville, TN (February 7, 2025) – British pop-country powerhouse Twinnie is kicking off 2025 with a bang, unveiling her exhilarating new single, "Worst Kind of Crush," (preferred music platform) just in time for Valentine’s Day

Now streaming on all platforms, this infectious, pop-infused track offers a bittersweet twist on love and heartbreak—perfect for anyone navigating the highs and lows of romance this season.

With lyrics that capture the sting of unfulfilled love, "Worst Kind of Crush" offers a compelling contrast between heartbreak and high-energy pop-country: "The worst kind of crush is us making out at midnight on New Year’s Eve / The worst kind of rush is us giving it up and you disappearing on me."

“We all know what it’s like to have a crush, but hopefully, if you’re lucky, you’ll never know what it’s like to feel crushed by love. This song is about missing the potential of what could have been—when someone does a 180 on you and their feelings completely switch. I wrote this song with Brandon Paddock a few years ago, and I’ve always loved its crossover appeal. It’s a sad story, but it has a happy groove. It was inspired by Whitney Houston’s 'I Wanna Dance With Somebody'—a love song that’s left open-ended, hoping that love will return, all while making you want to dance to the beat.” – Twinnie

In addition to her new music, Twinnie has announced her Happy Hour Tour 2025, presented by JOY. Concerts and Holler Live. The tour will take her signature high-energy performances to fans across the UK and Ireland, featuring rising Tennessee recording artist Bonner Black as support. Fans can expect an electrifying setlist of fan-favorites and new hits.

The Blue Hour (After Dark) EP further showcases that Twinnie can break down barriers and create songs that are not pigeonholed to one specific genre style.   Born out of a place of real hurt and heartbreak, this project takes listeners on a journey of pain, loss, and self-discovery. It’s a collection of songs that truly put the spotlight on Twinnie’s outstanding artistry.

Speaking about the
Blue Hour (After Dark) EP, Twinnie states: “
All these songs were born out of something that hurt me. This EP is straight from my heart to yours. It was in the early hours where these words came and I was able to articulate what I was feeling. Obviously, I hope you like it but I think of all the songs I’ve ever released this body of work is my best. Perhaps it’s because it’s so personal and led me to a new life that served me better, and made me braver, stronger and happier. Don’t get me wrong memories still burn and I still think of the what-ifs but at this point, I’ve learned to trust whatever is meant for me will never pass me by. I hope you find healing in it just like I did”
