Hillary Scott Proclaims “It’s Hard to Wait for Christmas” with Daughter Eisele Kay

HILLARY SCOTT AND DAUGHTER EISELE KAYE SHARE JOY WITH PLAYFUL “HARD TO WAIT FOR CHRISTMAS” DUET - OUT NOW

Join the Whole Family for a Behind the Scenes Look from the Studio and Holiday Photo Shoot in Heartwarming Music Video

Nashville, TN - November 15, 2024 – GRAMMY® Award-winner Hillary Scott of Lady A and her eleven-year-old daughter, Eisele Kaye, are ready to bring on the holiday season with their new track “Hard To Wait For Christmas,” a joyous instant holiday classic, available HERE (preferred music platform) or listen below:

Written by Scott, her husband Chris Tyrrell and Eisele Kaye, the idea for the song was sparked by a family conversation about an advent calendar, and how - even for grownups - it’s hard to wait for Christmas.

Produced by Scott, Tyrrell and Ryan Gore, the song's harmony of brassy trombones and hint of jingle bells ignites the Christmas cheer for all ages and reminisces on the many things that make the holiday season so special.

We hope this song makes families smile and encourages them to laugh and have fun together as they wait patiently (or not!) for Christmas,” shared Scott. “My favorite line from the song is about how it feels better to give than to receive, and if we could say anything about the Christmas season, it is that we hope you have a giving heart. That’s what really makes Christmas special -  the gift of your time to the people you love, and the gift of your generosity to those in need."

Featuring homemade cookies, sprinkled giggles and countless heartwarming family moments, the video for “Hard To Wait For Christmas” is available to watch HERE.

With behind-the-scenes clips from the studio recording the song and their Christmas card photoshoot, the family's video including twin sisters Emory and Betsy, perfectly captures the season's wonder and the palpable love that fills the air during the holiday season.

A nine-time GRAMMY® Award-winner, Hillary Scott is one-third of superstar group Lady A, with whom she's earned 11 No. One hits, countless awards including Billboard Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards, and took home ACM and CMA "Vocal Group of the Year” trophies three years in a row. Lady A is best known for rich vocal harmony, vivid emotional writing and a smooth fusion of country, rock and pop, having now long been a model of mainstream success. The group has become one of the 21st century’s premier vocal groups, blending deeply felt emotions with classic Country sounds.

In addition to co-writing chart-topping Lady A hits, including the 11x PLATINUM hit “Need You Now," Scott has also written for artists such as Blake Shelton and Sara Evans, penning Evans' No. One hit, "A Little Bit Stronger.” Scott's spirited release from Hillary Scott & The Scott Family claimed the top spot of the Billboard Christian Albums chart with their debut album LOVE REMAINS, with Hillary Scott & The Scott Family earning a GRAMMY® Award for the album as well as for the album’s chart-topping single, “Thy Will.” For more information, visit LadyAMusic.com.

Hillary Scott & The Scott Family pave the way for Love Remains Album, available July 29th

Scott Revealed Deeply Personal Story Behind "Thy Will"
on Good Morning America Today

The Moving Music Video for LOVE REMAINS' Debut Single Premieres on VEVO

NASHVILLE, TN - June 20, 2016 - As part of this morning's exclusive sit-down interview with ABC's Good Morning America, seven-time GRAMMY award-winning Lady Antebellum member Hillary Scott announced July 29th as the release date of LOVE REMAINS (EMI Nashville) by Hillary Scott & The Scott Family.

"The process of making this album has been not only creatively inspiring but I’ve also really been able to grow as a person," shared Hillary Scott. "We’ve had this intense concentrated amount of time as a family together, which has been so special. With all that we’ve gone through together, the highs, the lows - to be able to process all of that together, to heal together, to grieve together, to laugh, to cry, all of those things...it’s just been such a continuation of solidifying the strong foundation that we have in our family."

After the passing of her grandfather in 2011, Hillary alongside mother Linda Davis, father Lang Scott and younger sister Rylee, leaned on their faith and music as a source of hope through the difficult time. The Scott family yearned to thank loved ones for their support and set out to record demos of family-favorite hymns.
As the summer of 2015 wound down and Lady Antebellum soaked-in time off the road, the family's plans for a five song CD as a gift to family and friends, blossomed into what is now LOVE REMAINS.

"We didn’t want to make a sad record," noted Lang Scott. "You’re always sad when you lose a loved one, but if you have that faith, it gives you hope. It gives you the courage to press on.”

While the upcoming album's lead single "Thy Will" offers that universal message of hope, today on Good Morning America, Hillary also shared her own personal struggle that led to "baring her soul like never before" (People). She revealed that the song was written about a more recent dark chapter in her life, a sudden miscarriage of her second pregnancy during the fall of 2015.

Lady Antebellum's Hillary Scott is a married woman. Her rep tells US Weekly she and Chris Tyrell wed Saturday just before sunset in upstate New York surrounded by family and close friends.

The bride wore a custom Vera Wang strapless mermaid dress with abstract all-over lace underlay, layered tulle skirt with horsehair banding and hand-cut corded lace applique with hand-applied crystal and pearl beading.

She complemented the gown with a mantilla veil with hand-cut chantilly lace applique. The groom donned a gray Ermenegildo Zegna suit.

The Dress
The Lady Antebellum singer approached the designer, Vera Wang about a custom dress, and what resulted was a one-of-a-kind creation that left the bride aglow. “Hillary was joyous, over the moon,” Wang tells PEOPLE. “And [she was] actually very enchanted with the thought of a hand-pieced, hand-engineered lace mermaid wedding gown.” In fact, the strapless dress featured all-over lace underlay, a layered tulle skirt with horsehair banding and a hand-cut corded lace applique with hand-applied crystal-and-pearl beading. “While the dress was very tailored, the lace work was extremely feminine,” Wang explains. Scott finished her look with an embroidered, cathedral-length mantilla veil with hand-cut Chantilly lace applique. “[She was] a contemporary vision of a traditional bride,” Wang says.

Other singers who have opted for Vera Weng Wedding gowns include:
Jessica Simpson (Oct 2002- sweetheart-neck gown featured a 27-foot train- photo), Mariah Carey (June 1993-sweetheart-neck gown featured a 27-foot train), Jennifer Lopez (June 2004, ruffled gown), Alicia Keys (July 2010 georgette-draped goddess gown) , Avril Lavigne (July 2006 - strapless organza gown) and Chelsea Clinton the daughter of Bill and Hillary's daughter wowed in a custom strapless silk organza back in July , 2010.

Announcing The Good News!
Hillary Scott, 25, posted a video on her band's site Sunday to announce the good news. "We got married! We just wanted you to hear it from us first," Scott gushed to fans after showing off her wedding ring. "We love you. We're so excited to be starting our life together, and we just had to let you in on the excitement."

Tyrell, 24, the lead drummer of country music trio Love and Theft, first met the "Run to You" singer when they each served as opening acts on Tim McGraw's Southern Voice Tour in 2010.
Over the Fourth of July weekend, Tyrell popped the question to Scott while the two were enjoying a day at the lake in Tennessee.
At the time Hillary did a play-by-play for E! News: "Chris proposed exactly the way I've always dreamed. Our families were close by, but it was just us out on a beautiful deck overlooking a lake in East Tennessee. We had just been on a hike and -- in our workout clothes -- he hit the knee! We feel so blessed by God that He sent us each other, and we are looking so forward to forever together."

"Everything is brighter. Everything has a deeper meaning," Scott said at the time of her engagement. "I've found a guy who truly embraces me for who I am and appreciates the things that I don't necessarily love about myself."

Although Hillary's bandmates Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood were not present during her wedding, they couldn't make it, their their representative said, "They look forward to celebrating with Hillary Scott and Chris Tyrell in the coming weeks."
Ummmmmm this might start rumours of a Lady A break-up ? ! LOL

Ummm..Was it "It's called This Moment" (Dance with Cinderella) I wonder ? - Youtube - Spotify

Back in September, when asked if she would sing at her wedding, Hillary told OK!, "No! Unless I’m, like, tipsy on champagne and take over the band, you know? We might do that.

Just a Kiss
Apparently he (Chris Tyrell ) was inspiration for the tune, "Just a Kiss." Hillary previously explained to Billboard, "There is so much excitement at the beginning of a new relationship...This song is about one of those times when your brain kicks in and tells your heart, 'Good things are worth waiting for.'

I know that if we give this a little time
It'll only bring us closer to the love we wanna find
It's never felt so real
No, it's never felt so right…

Just a kiss on your lips in the moonlight
Just a touch of the fire burnin' so bright
No, I don't wanna mess this thing up
I don't wanna push too far
Just a shot in the dark that you just might
Be the one I've been waiting for my whole life x

Listen To "Just A Kiss" on Spotify

Congrats to the both of them on their joyous news!

I’m sure Hillary’s made her mum country singer Linda Davis (pictured) very proud and happy but will have broken the hearts of many of Lady A’s male fanbase!
