Make A Cowboy Cry,” her first offering since the September 6, 2024
release of her sophomore album, Horseback.
Listen
to “How To Make A Cowboy Cry” HERE.(preferred music platform) or below:
Written by Paulette, Parker Welling and Casey Brown, and produced by Will
Bundy, “How To Make A Cowboy Cry” is reflective of Paulette’s current chapter
of life after becoming a wife and mother, and underscores that despite their
physical toughness, the quickest way to make cowboys cry lies within life’s
most meaningful moments.
“I wrote ‘How To Make A Cowboy Cry’ right after Ross and I eloped,” explains
Paulette. “Truthfully, it was before we thought about having kids, and in a
conversation where we were dreaming about it, he named our little girl with two
family names—and from that moment on I prayed for one. We have lived these
moments in this song…from our wedding day, to two pink lines, to a moment in
the truck headed in Colorado to work calves listening to Chris Ledoux.”
Traversing her home region of Texas and Oklahoma, Paulette’s Horseback
Acoustic Tour kicked off with a sold out show last night in
Castroville, Texas. As her April 17 show in Bluff Dale, Texas sold out a week
early, Paulette adds three new dates in Clinton, Wisconsin on June 18; Chicago,
Illinois on June 19; and Jacksonville, IL on June 20. Tickets for the newly
announced dates are available now at JennaPaulette.com.
At each Horseback Acoustic Tour stop, fans will have a chance
to sign up and win a gift card valid for the purchase of one CowboyGirl shirt,
courtesy of Ely Cattleman. Fans will sign up at the merch table and must be
present to win. For more information and tickets, visit JennaPaulette.com.

About Jenna Paulette:
A CMT Next Women of Country honoree and an Apple Music’s Country Riser,
singer-songwriter Jenna Paulette — a cowgirl who came of age amid the gritty
realities of ranch life — is part of Nashville’s growing wave of female artists
who are rewriting the rules and charting their own paths. Paulette settled in
Nashville in 2015, where she struck up a mentorship with Ashley Gorley – a
veteran songwriter with 80+ No. 1 tunes under his belt – which ultimately led
to her publishing deal with Sea Gayle Music in June 2021. Since collaborating
with songwriters Will Bundy, Rhett Akins and Jessie Jo Dillion, as well as
opening for Mason Ramsey, Parmalee, John Michael Montgomery, Clay Walker and
most recently Aaron Watson, Paulette has landed brand partnerships with Justin
Boots, Boot Barn, Ely Cattleman and Ranch Water.
With the arrival of her debut album The Girl I Was in
2023, Grammy.com remarked the project as “transformative,”
noting it “fuses the sounds of Twain and Miranda Lambert, tackling mental
health with the somber ‘You Ain't No Cowboy’ and waxing philosophical on
‘Country In The Girl.’” She continued to spotlight her authentic western
lifestyle last year, performing the national anthem at the National Finals
Rodeo, making her Grand Ole Opry Debut and performing in multiple festivals
including CMA Fest. Paulette recently signed with independent label Leo33.
Paulette’s sophomore album, Horseback, is available everywhere
now.

‘California’ is the new single
from rising Country star Florence Sommerville,
released on April 11th and taken from her forthcoming debut album due later this year. Following her well-received
single ‘(I’ll Be Your) Best Broken Heart’ released in Jan, this Country ballad
showcases Florence's signature vocals and captures the essence of the perfect
daydream, delivered with the ease of a Nashville veteran.
LISTEN HERE:
Florence Sommerville, a
singer-songwriter from the small village of Orsett
in Essex, thrives on modern Country music. She’s been
playing guitar since she was eight years old, writing songs since she was 12,
and performing at open mics for most of her teenage years. When she was 14, she
reached the final of the Open Mic UK competition held at the O2 Indigo Arena in
London. She’s also played at several major festivals, including Latitude,
Moseley Folk and Arts Festival, Maverick Festival, AMA Music Week (Nashville)
and many listening venues around southern England.
“To me, California is a song about the perfect
daydream - the thing you fantasise about while you’re at the day job you hate,
or the dream of a future you clutch on to after a bad break-up.”
‘California’ is the product of
a co-write with Sally Barris and Francesca de Valence, done over Zoom across
three continents.
Speaking about the writing process, Florence says:“‘California’ was written with two of my favourite
people to write with; Sally Barris and Francesca de Valence. At the time of
writing, we were actually in three different continents, but thanks to zoom
(and plenty of coffee due to the time zones), we were able to write a song I
was so excited about. I’d come up with the general idea for what the chorus of
the song is now a while before the session, but ended up putting it to the back
of my mind.” … So many thousands of miles away from each other, across oceans,
the three of us are singing together. That certainly seems like a dream to me!”
A huge lover of Country music,
Florence is currently on her fourth trip to Nashville, where she is excited to
perform at the iconic Bluebird Cafe. On previous visits, she has co-written
songs with acclaimed songwriters Gary Burr, Jan Buckingham and Sally Barris,
alongside appearing at the famed Commodore Grille, Hutton Hotel, Love &
Exile and Tennessee Brew Works. Back home in Britain, Florence has opened for
renowned stars such as Diana Jones, Tom Robinson, Annie Keating, Hannah
Aldridge, Dan Owen, and the Hanging Stars. Last October she sold out her debut
headline show at the Camden Chapel in London, and earlier this year, she
celebrated the launch of her single at London's Green Note.
There’s a raw, rootsy quality
to Florence’s music that belies her youthfulness. She doesn’t arrive as the
next ready-made Country star beauty figure Barbie doll; there is unquestionable
realness in the way Florence makes sense of life through her music.

JON
PARDI TAKES HONKYTONK HOLLYWOOD TO NEW YORK CITY FOR NATIONAL
TELEVISION PERFORMANCES AND EXCLUSIVE FAN EVENT
The “Honky-Tonk Hero” (Esquire)
Releases His Fifth Studio Album Today
Nashville,
TN - April 11, 2025 – With roaring guitars and a roaring, good-time spirit,
“Honky-Tonk Hero” (Esquire) Jon Pardi’s reputation for punchy,
against-the-wind bravado continues to grow, today with the release of his fifth
studio album HONKYTONK HOLLYWOOD, out now. The 17-track
album is the spiritual successor to his fearless breakout hits, and once again
finds Pardi pulling out the stops to stay true to himself – yet giving his
signature sound a new spark. Some tracks ring with pristine, pure-country
tenderness, while others embrace fuzzed-out fiddles and soaring tripled
guitars, or grungy bass lines and bottomless grooves.
To celebrate the release, Pardi will head to New York City to for first-ever
performances of the album’s title track on NBC’s TODAY this
Monday (4/14) before visiting Fox & Friends on
Tuesday (4/15) to perform the album’s timeless “He Went To Work.” Later that
evening, he will host an exclusive album release event at Common Country Bar
for one of the first-ever performances of new tracks as well as some of his
biggest hits. Fans can catch up with the California native with Esquire’s in-depth
interview about the album online HERE and in the new April/May issue.

REVIEW: Ultimately, ‘Honkytonk
Hollywood' is Jon Pardi’s boldest and most varied album to date. When it rocks,
it’s exhilarating and I, personally, still think it's where he excels with
songs like ‘Friday Night Heartbreaker,' Rush' and ‘Hard Knocks.' However, where
the album leans into smooth, California-tinged retro-country, it’s also
effortlessly cool and whilst Pardi's honkytonk roots are still present, this
album proves that he is an artist willing to push boundaries and reveal new
facets of himself as he matures and ages. It’s an exciting, daring step
forward—and a reminder that country music is at its best when it embraces
evolution - 4 STARSEF COUNTRY
Never afraid to break from the pack, fourteen RIAA-certified singles feature
six No. One's (like the back-to-back 6x-Platinum “Head Over Boots” and “Dirt On
My Boots”), four Top 5 albums (including 2016’s Platinum No. One, CALIFORNIA
SUNRISE) and with years of blue-collar barnstorming behind him, the California
native has earned his international headlining acclaim, alongside 9.3 billion
global streams. After just headlining shows in Australia including CMC Rocks,
the multi-Platinum country star and “spirited entertainer, with infectious
energy” (Star Tribune) will kick off his HONKYTONK HOLLYWOOD TOUR
on April 25, hitting arenas and amphitheaters across the US with support from
Corey Kent on select dates and Kassi Ashton. For more information on new music

YOUNG’S CALIVILLE STYLE MEETS CLASSIC COUNTRY ON FOURTH STUDIO ALBUM, 2.0, OUT FRIDAY, JUNE 13 VIA NASHVILLE
HARBOR RECORDS & ENTERTAINMENT
“Drink With You” Country Radio World
Premiere Thursday (10/4), Out Friday (11/4)

of Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment
NASHVILLE,
TN (April 9, 2025) – DIAMOND-selling Country artist Brett Young
announced his fourth studio album, 2.0, releasing Friday,
June 13 via Nashville Harbor Records & Entertainment. Produced by
Jimmy Robbins (Maren Morris, Thomas Rhett) and Dann Huff (Faith Hill,
Rascal Flatts), the 11-track collection features Young’s signature
Caliville style mixed with driving Classic Country instrumentation of banjo,
pedal steel and mandolin, offering a unique sonic backdrop to this new chapter.
The
album showcases Young’s growth as an artist, with songs that are more
vulnerable and offer a deeper connection to his personal experiences. 2.0
includes tracks written alongside top-shelf hitmakers and coveted songwriters,
including Ashley Gorley, Jon Nite, Justin Ebach and more.
The
record features "Who I Do It For," a collaboration with
Lady A that is rooted in family-driven inspiration, as well as a new
version of his DIAMOND-certified hit "In Case You Didn’t Know” — this time
featuring Hannah McFarland. Album standout "Full House" beautifully
captures the life-changing moment of having a first child and the joy that
experience brings.
“It’s
always my goal to be real and transparent and connect with my audience, whether
that means writing a song about what happened yesterday or revisiting past
experiences,” shares Young. “It should always be about a connection with the
listeners. 2.0 feels really special to me, and I’m very proud of it. I
hope it makes people want to come out and see the live show even more.”
On
Thursday (10/4), Young’s new single "Drink With You" made its world
premiere on US Country radio and is now available everywhere. (Friday 11/4).
Penned by Young, Jesse Frasure, Tony Lucca and GRAMMY Award-winner Emily
Weisband, the song is a pedal steel-stamped struggle of resisting
alcohol-induced romantic temptations.
With
more than 8.5 billion global career streams and seven consecutive no. 1
singles, Young is one of only nine Country artists with an RIAA
DIAMOND-certified single (“In Case You Didn’t Know”), among a long list of
RIAA-certified hits. He is currently on the road headlining the Back To
Basics World Tour 2025, which kicked off February 13th in Springfield,
IL.
It includes shows across the U.S., Canada, Australia, the EU, and UK * See Below),

Evan
Bartels Sets Stunning TO MAKE YOU CRY EP for May 23
Title
Track 'To Make You Cry' Out Now
Live
UK DATES MAY (w/ Charles Wesley Godwin) /AUGUST (Long Road Festival)
NASHVILLE,
Tenn. – (April 11, 2025) – Singer/Songwriter Evan Bartels
announces his upcoming project To MAKE YOU CRY (Fan PRE-SAVE) releasing May 23
via Lost Highway Records, with the title track out now.
Bartels
showcases his profound storytelling on To Make You Cry, creating an
epic, cinematic landscape with little more than an acoustic guitar and vocals.
Recorded in his handmade cabin outside of Nashville, this stunning six-song set
not only takes notice of those people who are often unseen but also explores
the sacrifices and spirituality of a working musician.
“I
wanted these stories and songs to be very intimate, where it feels like you’re
hearing something through a wall, or you’re seeing something through a window,
and you perhaps shouldn’t be,” explains Bartels. “Also, I wanted it to feel
expansive. I wanted it to sound like the West, which is often stark and
intensely beautiful in a way that takes your breath away.”
On
the haunting title track written by Bartels with Bobby Tomberlin and Curt
Gibbs, 'To Make You Cry' encompasses the pain and turmoil relationships
endure over time and distance.
“‘To
Make You Cry’ isn’t just a song. It’s the ash that has come from the flame of
my life,” shares
Bartels. “It’s more than hope. It’s resolve. No matter how dark the night,
just make it to the morning.”
Listen
to 'To Make You Cry' HERE (preferred music

'To
Make You Cry' Lyrics
You
don’t have to tell me
The
words are written all over your face
Your
eyes show what your mouth could never say
The
sound of your heart as it breaks
The
pain of loving me is all it takes
To
make you cry
It’s
alright
It’ll
be alright
Just
hold on a little longer we’ll be fine
It’s
alright
It’ll
be alright
Let’s
just make it to the morning
And
I’ll tell you that I love you
In
case this is the last chance that I get
That
all the days with you have been my best
The
only thing in life that I regret
are
the nights when I was gone
I
never meant
To
make you cry
'To
Make You Cry' along with his recent release 'Lula'
prove why American Songwriter calls Bartels’ music “intense and
intimate” as he strives to tell distinctly human stories without judgment and
to truly see the unsung person where most passersby may wish to look
away.
Produced
by Bartels, Rico Csabai and Dave “Squirrel” Covell, the team captured the
performances for To Make You Cry live with only acoustic guitar and
vocal, allowing Bartels’ expressive baritone to set the tone for the six-song
project.

The Performance Video
Returning
To The UK/Europe For Headlining Tour In December
NASHVILLE,
TN. / LONDON, U.K. – (11th April, 2025) – Poised to be 2025’s biggest
emerging singer-songwriter, Nashville-based Max McNown has today released the
new single “St. Helens Alpenglow” alongside a moving performance
video via Fugitive Recordings x The Orchard x Columbia Records.
Listen
to “St. Helens Alpenglow” HERE
/ Watch the performance video below:
“For
better or for worse, every relationship we’ve ever experienced has shaped us
into the person we are today” shares Max. “The song ‘St. Helens Alpenglow’
serves as a reminder that just because a past love didn’t make it to the finish
line, it doesn’t mean it was all for nothing. There are pieces of one another
that we carry far beyond the “end” of our romances. The “Alpenglow” represents
those fragments of broken relationships, memories you look back on fondly and
will always be grateful for.”
This
new single follows last month’s release “Call Me If You Miss Me”
and continues the story of his stunning sophomore album NIGHTDIVING (released 24th January), a graceful
fusion of folk and pop produced by Jamie Kenney (Colbie Caillat, Laci Kaye
Booth).
One
of the “brightest newly minted stars to come out of Nashville in recent
years” (GRAMMY.com), McNown recently made his UK and European debut at C2C:
Country to Country Festival in London, Berlin and Rotterdam and will be
returning overseas for a headlining tour across the UK, the Netherlands,
Germany and France in December.
McNown
recently made his TV debut on The Kelly Clarkson Show with a charming
performance of his current radio single “Better Me For You (Brown Eyes)” -
watch here.
Just
one month before, host and singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson covered his
breakout RIAA Gold certified single “A Lot More Free” - watch here.
His
additional accolades include being named a 2025 Amazon Music Artist to Watch
and Billboard’s Country Rookie of the Month for November of last
year following his feature as CMT’s Next Up Now artist alongside the
release of WillfullyBlind. The EP landed as the Oregon-born artist
made his AmericanaFest debut, and as we saw another major resurgence of his
breakout hit single “A Lot More Free”. Since the single’s release
it has earned Max a top spot as #1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart,
peaked at #1 on the iTunes singles chart and #1 on the TikTok Breakthrough USA
chart, climbed the Canadian Hot 100 chart, and was placed on Spotify’s Hot
Country and Viral 50 global playlists.
ABOUT
MAX McNOWN:
At
23, Max has already been on a storied musical journey. Taking control of his
future, overcoming personal challenges, and drawing inspiration from his
brother who was bravely fighting cancer, Max packed his bags and drove from
remote Oregon to Southern California. From there, videos of him busking on a
pier made an impact online and eventually grew into a legion of supporters on TikTok
(currently has 2.3M followers). After attracting interest from major TV talent
shows, Max auditioned for one and then decided it wasn't for him, and
gracefully turned them down as he knew he needed to walk his own path.
