Country To Country is entering a new chapter in 2027, with Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde and Riley Green announced as the three headliners for next year’s festival, alongside the biggest structural change in C2C’s history: the event is coming to Manchester for the first time.

Taking place from 12 to 14 March 2027, C2C will once again bring the biggest names and most exciting emerging artists in country music to the UK, with performances across The O2 in London, The OVO Hydro in Glasgow and, for the first time, Manchester’s AO Arena.

The announcement represents a significant expansion for a festival that has been bringing country music’s biggest international stars to British audiences since 2013. With Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde and Riley Green all headlining C2C for the first time, the 2027 edition also feels like a statement of intent about where the festival sees country music heading next.

Jelly Roll’s appearance will be particularly significant. The Grammy, CMA and ACM Award winner will make his UK headline debut at C2C, bringing his distinctive blend of country, rock, hip-hop and deeply personal songwriting to the festival.

Riley Green will return to the UK following his sold-out 2025 tour, while Ashley McBryde’s elevation to headliner represents the culmination of a journey that began at C2C itself. McBryde first performed in the UK on the festival’s Spotlight Stage in 2018 before returning to C2C and building an international following through years of touring.

That progression from emerging artist to headliner is one of the most compelling stories in C2C’s history and underlines the festival’s role in introducing UK audiences to artists before they become household names.

The trio will headline a line-up that also includes Cooper Alan, Midland, Cole Swindell, Jackson Dean, Dasha, Chase Matthew, Carter Faith, Emily Ann Roberts, Kashus Culpepper, Blake Whiten, Mack Geiger and Laci Kaye Booth.

The festival’s commitment to discovering what comes next is also being expanded, with the CMA Spotlight Stage appearing in all three cities for the first time. Rather than being restricted to London, the stage will give audiences in London, Manchester and Glasgow the opportunity to discover a new generation of country artists.

Late Night Thoughts, Colin Lynch, Chandler Walters, Benny G, Owen Riegling, Jason Scott & The High Heat, Greylan James, Lanie Gardner and Belles will perform across all three cities.

For the CMA, the expansion reflects the growing international appetite for country music and the increasingly global nature of the genre.
“Bringing the CMA Spotlight Stage to all three cities this year is a wonderful reflection of C2C’s continued growth and the appetite UK fans have for what’s next in Country music,” says Brittany Schaffer, CMA’s incoming Chief Executive Officer. “This lineup shows just how global our genre has become, with artists from around the world sharing the stage.”
Schaffer also highlighted the CMA’s broader role in helping artists build careers internationally, describing C2C as a place where that work can be seen in action.
The Manchester expansion is arguably the biggest development of the 2027 festival. For the first time, C2C will move into one of the UK’s most important live music cities, with the AO Arena providing the main venue while performances will also take place at New Century across the weekend.

The event will be supported by Manchester Accommodation BID, with the initiative bringing together the city’s hotel and serviced apartment providers to help attract new events to Manchester and Salford.
Absolute Radio Country will also provide coverage, interviews and highlights from Manchester throughout the weekend.
“C2C Festival coming to Manchester is the next step in celebrating how big country music is becoming in the UK,” said Ricky Marshall, Head of Content at Absolute Radio Country. “Absolute Radio Country has proudly been a trailblazer for introducing audiences to the genre and we’re delighted to be working with C2C Manchester to showcase the amazing talents of the performers in a city with such a proud live music heritage.”

For long-standing C2C fans, the move to Manchester changes the geography of the festival while retaining its familiar three-city identity. London and Glasgow remain central to the event, but Manchester now becomes part of the C2C weekend, potentially opening the festival to a new audience in one of the UK’s strongest live music markets.

The CMA will continue as a key festival partner, while BBC Radio 2 remains the event’s broadcast partner. Radio 2 has been involved with C2C since its launch in 2013, giving the festival a significant platform to reach beyond the venues themselves.

“Radio 2 have been broadcast partners with C2C since the festival’s launch in 2013, and it’s been a privilege to have witnessed the festival and country music rocketing in popularity during this period,” says Helen Thomas, Head of Radio 2.

The 2027 festival will also continue C2C’s growing commitment to community and charitable initiatives through a new partnership with Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library UK. A £1 donation from every day ticket and £2 from every weekend ticket will be added to C2C 2027 ticket purchases, with the money going towards providing children aged 0-5 across the UK with a new, age-appropriate book every month.

Amazon Music has also joined the festival as its Official Music Streaming Service (LINK), with the C2C 2027 line-up available to listen to through the platform.

With C2C recently receiving the ACM International Award for its contribution to expanding country music’s influence worldwide, the 2027 announcement arrives at a significant point in the festival’s history. The event has grown from a London-based country music showcase into a genuinely international platform connecting American and international artists with audiences across the UK.

The significance of that growth is reflected in the descriptions C2C has attracted over the years, including the ACM Awards calling its impact on country music’s international reach significant, while BBC News has described it as “the biggest country music festival outside North America”.

The 2027 line-up certainly reinforces that ambition. Jelly Roll making his UK headline debut, Riley Green returning after his 2025 sell-out shows and Ashley McBryde completing her journey from C2C newcomer to headliner gives the festival three very different artists at the top of the bill.

Below them is a line-up that moves from established names such as Midland and Cole Swindell to the likes of Dasha, Jackson Dean, Chase Matthew and Kashus Culpepper, while the expanded CMA Spotlight Stage puts an even greater emphasis on the artists who could be headlining C2C in years to come.

And perhaps that is the most interesting element of C2C 2027. The festival isn’t simply expanding geographically by adding Manchester; it is continuing to expand its role as a gateway between the international country music industry and UK audiences.
From Ashley McBryde stepping onto the Spotlight Stage in 2018 to returning as a 2027 headliner, the festival has already demonstrated how that relationship can develop. With Manchester now joining London and Glasgow, and the CMA Spotlight Stage following the same route, C2C is giving even more artists the opportunity to begin that journey.
