In addition, Myers just recently revealed the cinematic music video for
“Can’t Hold Me Down,” pairing open roads and open vistas with a
behind-the-scenes look at his life on tour.
Directed by John Park and Wales Toney, the magical
mystique of the American West takes center stage, as Myers captures the spirit
of his bluesy, groove-laced anthem to chasing dreams (at all costs). Filmed on
location in Las Vegas, NV, the clip also documents the lead up to a supporting
slot for Cody Johnson at MGM Grand Garden Arena last month, as Myers
crisscrossed the U.S. for a series of attention-grabbing 2024 shows including
his SOLD-OUT debut Let ‘Em Talk Tour.
Just named Apple Music’s Country Riser of the Month for January,
Myers has also been hailed an “Artist to Watch” by Pandora, GRAMMY.com, Holler, Country
Now, and All Country News, among
others. Boasting 154+ MILLION total global streams to date and a rising tide of
acclaim, he’s rolling out songs from the forthcoming January 24 release like fan-favorite “Ends of the Earth,”
alongside “Worry is a Sickness,”
“Drinkin’ Alone,” and
his debut single, “Tie That Binds.”
With The Select named after the Paris haunt
famous as a home base for Ernest Hemingway – a lifelong creative inspiration –
16 tracks present his timeless songwriting (with Myers credited as a writer on
14 songs), stunning guitar skills, and irresistibly soulful vocals in full
relief. Go here to pre-save/pre-add The Select, and pre-order the CD & Vinyl
Edition (out 3/28) here.
Keeping momentum red-hot, the born-entertainer will further embark on The Select Tour – an ambitious 26-date
national headline run launching in his home state next Thursday (1/16).
Beginning in Cedar Park, TX, the run will wind its way across the Midwest,
Northeast, and Southeast, before wrapping in Fayetteville, AR, on May 3. And while
tickets for all shows are currently on sale, they are going fast. As several
locations report limited tickets remaining, 15 dates
have already SOLD OUT including highlight stops at the
historic Gruene Hall in New Braunfels, TX (two nights), New York City’s Bowery
Ballroom, and more. For the full tour itinerary and to purchase tickets, visit www.tymyersmusic.com.
