There were some great red carpet fashion moments at the 49th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 6th, 2014.

Miranda Lambert shone like a golden goddess in a Boobalicious crystal-adorned Randi Rahm gown and was a hands-down picture perfect "AUTOMATIC" red carpet winner as well as taking home three 2014 ACM Awards.
Country’s finest traded in their cowboy boots for Casadei heels parading on the MGM Grand Garden Arena carpet.

Prior to the 2014 ACM Awards some of the biggest stars in country music prepared for the main event attending the Saturday Cumulus/Westwood One Radio Remotes by keeping things casual. Seventeen year old singer Danielle Bradbery looked cute as she keeps things casual in gray top, white sweater and green pants with brown boots as she stepped out – Read more and Pictures at rockycoastnews.

Ashton Shepherd: This is a horrible prom dress.

Caroline Bryan - Luke Bryan’s lovely wifey attended the 49th Annual Academy Of Country Music Awards looking very dapper in an all-black look by designer Naeem Khan. Her sheer one-shoulder gown with pink floral embroidery and a satin-corded skirt was a one sure-fire way to stand out on the jam-packed red carpet - Fashion Pic

Carrie Underwood – The “Blown Away” ACM nominee, having a performance night off, looked relaxed, dressed in a white Oscar de la Renta gold-beaded fringe gown which was one of the top looks. More frou frou or were you completely wowed? The look was styled with Jimmy Choo sandals (image) , a white beaded clutch (image ) and David Yurman jewels. Her waves were just show-stopping (image) as much as that gorgeous white-and-metallic all over-beaded fringe dress = Best Hair at the 2014 ACMs Awards!

Cassadee Pope – The “I Wish I Could Break Your Heart” Republic Nashville beauty/ singer-songwriter wore a very familiar Grecian-inspired Maria Lucia Hohan silk-mousseline gown with transparent sides for a sophisticated look.

One year on she was back to show off her post-baby body wearing a two-tone stretch-cady Stella McCartney black dress with contrasting white sleeves styled with over-the-knee sexy leather thigh high Tom Ford boots and Kimberley McDonald jewels. The ultra-flattering design with the white panels down the sides gave her a streamlined hourglass silhouette - Fashion Pic - Image
Miz Nicks went for a simple, all-black number that showed a seksi glimpse of shoulder. Stevie finished up her look with ombre shaded aviators - Image

Jamie Lynn Spears - The Louisiana “How Could I Want More” native and newlywed arrived with hubby with 31-year-old James Watson. Kacey Musgraves – The “Keep it to Yourself” Female Vocal and ACM Album nominee choose a very long train as the singer-songwriter picked a baby-blue plunging ruched Miu Miu gown with tons of fabric. She added a sparkly rather plasticky looking blue-and-white belt (Image) which slightly cheapened the look. The heavenly blue colour looked stunning against Kacey’s gorgeous skin tone complexion (image) . The cool “Follow Your Arrow” singer styled the look with some smokin’ hot high-heeled platforms (which she appeared to become totally infatuated with Image), straight ombre tresses (Image), gold hooped earrings (image) and a statement ring.

Karen Fairchild - The Little Big Town gal showed off a quite wonderful figure and great legs in a strapless silver sheaths. Dark straight locks, silver bangle, rings and heels completed her fabulous at 44 look.

Kellie Pickler - The fun “Little Bit Gypsy" singer and 2013 Dancing With The Stars champ glowed in a romantic lavender strapless silk-chiffon Romona Keveza Spring 2012 gown (image), with its sweetheart neckline, high slit and flowy skirt, gets a dose of sparkle via a Swarovski crystal belt (image). Her complementary styling with Stuart Weitzman shoes, an array of Pandora jewelry (earrings, rings, and bracelets) and sporting a sweet curly bob was charming and playful. Note: Kelly is auctioning the Pandora charm bracelets she wore at charitybuzz.com to raise money for ACM Lifting Lives. Pickler received high praise for her ACM Red Carpet look from a wide variety of media outlets. Read the full Press Release

Keltie Knight - The “Insider” correspondent wore a lemon flavoured number thinking what better accessory than to add to the tea-length chartreuse dress than pockets.

A black clutch, gold hardware and a neat topknot (image) which emphasised stunning detail around neckline completed her look. Full photo set at Getty Images

Kimberly Schlapman - Part of the co-ordinated Little Big Town nominees (joining fellow musicians Philip Sweet, Karen Fairchild, and Jimi Westbrook). She wore her signature Big, big hair. The country star/ TV cook stuck to a mostly black-and-white palette (a strapless floral-print midi with a peplum, plus ankle-strap sandals). She carried a clutch nicknamed a “murse” (doubling up as a cross between a mirror, to check herself out, and a purse to house some gambling monies)

Martina McBride - The 3 time Female Vocalist ACM Winner went with a throw-back-old-school-classy-glam to tie in with her “Everlasting” April 8th album release. There to present and welcome “King” George Strait to the ACM stage she sparkled in a nude-and-black floral sequined short-sleeved gown from the David Meister Signature collection accented with a nude belt. With a few subtle jewels, she styled her look with black pointy pumps and super-glossy tresses (image) Dated mother of the bride dress or plain gorgeous? Miranda Lambert – The multi award winning and nominated “Automatic” singer has never looked more sensational. What a bod  Miz Mandy is rockin' these days?? It has been known Rand has cultivated her fitness for a while but the results = OH MY GOODNESS! She looked as if she's the goddess of the moon in this cleavage happy champagne gown by Randi Rahm with a chiffon train.
There was probably a long reaction to the gown by the press photographers when quite possibly every single jaw just dropped. Miranda makes that happen in a bod-flaunting nude gown featuring Swarovski crystals and a cleavage-baring neckline, plus shoulder-skimming danglers (image) . The gown was made for her, hugging her in all the right places! (image).
She styled the look with a selection of gold jewels and a Rauwolf bronze clutch (image) .
This hot singer later bagged awards for Female Vocalist of the Year, Single Record of the Year, and Song of the Year on the night.

The “Fastest Girl in Town” singer swapped her elegant gown later in the evening for a white tank top, skinny jeans and silver boots to perform on stage. Read more: Daily Mail - Image
Dressed in a denim shirt, brown leather belt, fringed skirt and cowboy boots, with her blonde hair in a plait. Miranda also took to the stage with George Strait to pay tribute to Merle Haggard - Image
And she completed her sartorial win with a short cute strapless sexy pink dress, which showed off her dramatic weight loss.

Nancy O’Dell – it was Thigh's the limit for the 48-year old American TV host and entertainment journalist who went for sexy in a black high-slit dress with the pattern and nude lining helping to accentuated her curves.

Natalia Starzynski - The Warner-Chappell Nashville Country Rock/Pop recording artist rocked a bright blue low cut-revealing embroidered gown with a flowing train. Silver jewels, clutch, strappy platform sandals and beautiful hair and nude lips completed her look.
Top: Martina McBride (David Meister), Miranda Lambert (Randi Rahm),
Natalia Starzynski, Nancy O'Dell,
Bottom: Natalie Sovall, Olivia Munn (Reem Acra)
Rachel Reinart, Raelynn (Aniari Design

Natalie Sovall – The lead singer from the buzz-worthy choose a full flowing great black dress. It was a great fit for her petite frame and not over powering. She rocked a flowing sexy hair do, silver jewels, nude lippie and radiant smile. Just fab!

Olivia Munn – The 33-year-old actress (aka Sloan Sabbith on HBO's The Newsroom) showed more than a little thigh wearing a Reem Acra watermelon-pink-coloured flutter-sleeve gown with a deep plunging neckline and jewel accents on the shoulders. She wore her raven-dark hair pulled back into a glossy knot and donned small glittery earrings with a coral lip colour - Image
The crazy-high slit and crazy-sexy neckline may have diverted attention from the crystal detailing and open back.
Olivia wore Christian Louboutin Youpi peep-toe pumps from the Spring 2014 collection featuring silver leather covered in tonal mini glitter, mirrored leather toe and 120mm heel - Image

Rachel Reinert - Joined by her Gloriana pals Tom Gossin and Mike Gossin she wore a short corseted dark navy lace number with a short attached train - Image. Showing off her muscular and toned pins she co-ordinated with black chunky squared heeled pumps (image) an opal and gold coloured beaded and silver studded bangle (image) . Her fringe and straight hair and make up was particularly striking.

Raelynn (Racheal Lynn Woodward) – The former Team Blake Voice contestant and Valory Music “Boyfriend” Texan singer once again went with the fun prom look in a Aniari Design (Nashville) corseted black and white strapless dress but this time left out her style signature oversize red flower pin in her hair. >> Watch her red carpet interview

Sarah Davidson -  The “Drink You Up” singer who appeared on TBS series “Private Lives of Nashville Wives” made her red carpet ACM appearance a week on from her #30 country bow (1,900 sales) for her Self-titled EP.
The singer wore an Elie Saab Spring 2014 gown which juxtaposes a daring high slit and sheer top with a sweet pink hue. Styling-wise, she added studded white sandals (image) and a selection of fine jewels (image) - Fashion Pic
Full photo set at Getty Images
Sarah along with young women of country pals Danielle Bradbery and Cassadee Pope were due back in Nashville for the NCAA Women's Final Four tournament. Not to play basketball but to play a free concert with Davidson due to perform at halftime.

Sara Brice - Sara the wife of ACM nominated Lee looked fabulous wearing a custom silver and gold strapless Johnathan Kayne gown

Shakira – The Latin Pop star come “Medicine” country singer had multiple cut-outs on her supercool blue-green Zuhair Murad gown. It featured an embroidered bodice with sheer nude silk underlay detailing (image) and black laddered-tights effect, styled with her signature wavy tresses. Cut-outs or  spiderweb or a threadbare tee? Who cares just sexy, Shakira’s hips don’t lie.! - Fashion Pic - Image
With her The Voice/ Blake Shelton country connection, it was no surprise to see Shakira rock the ACM carpet.
Performance: For her emotional high-energy ACM performance with fellow judge Blake she changed into a fiery chiffon tutu red number from Kristian Aadnevik’s Fall 2014 collection.
She styled the corseted red lingerie-inspired mini dress with over-the-knee boots and flesh-coloured fishnet tights for a totally AH-Mazing fierce bod and super foXXXy look!

Shawna Thompson - Magnolias may be the ultimate Southern flower, but the Thompson Square singer goes with an attention-grabbing poppy print on her nude gown, which is made up of layers of tulle. An overwhelming floral explosion or stand out ACM look?

Bottom: Sheryl Crow (Christian Siriano), Taylor Swift (J. Mendel)
and Jewel (Georges Chakra)

Sheryl Crow - The “Feels Like Home” Female Vocalist nominee went for drama selecting a gorgeous sleeveless geometric broken-glass-effect Christian Siriano Fall 2014 gown with a high neckline featuring a sweeping train (image). This classic design was enhanced by gold jewels, with glossy blonde tresses and flawless makeup rounding out her ACM look - Getty Images

Taylor Swift - Not even the country awards show can escape the crop top trend. Taylor was smokin' hot in an abs-revealing shrunken white cutout tee, a high-waist maxi with a major slit, plus chic strappy black leather Casadei ‘Trikini’ sandals with gold-tone hardware (image - us.casadei.com).
The J. Mendel ivory silk-crepe asymmetrical-slit and cut-out-shoulder-detail crop top and black thigh-high-slit skirt was a great and fresh switch up style. The “Begin Again” star accessorized with a Jennifer Fisher ring, Marina B. earrings, and bracelet (image), plus a M2 Malletier clutch (image - net-a-porter.com ) and black sandals. Gorgeous red lips (image ), double blue eyeliner and side swept curls sealed the ACM 2014 look.
Dispensing with her love for sparkling romantic gowns Tay busted a move in her J. Mendel custom piece proved that she was looking for an update and even the signature red lip was not apparent. She rocked her flawless stomach in Shania-style and the slit showed a hefty side of those lovely long legs too! WIN!!
Attached to those go-on-forever pins the pop sensation set pulses racing with those killer heels. UK fans keen to channel Tay’s ACM chic can grab a pair at farfetch.com  (£495) For fav alternatives, to fit your pocket rather than feet, head off to ASOS for some Hop Skip Jump heels.  * Full photo set at Getty Images

Brandy Clark who looked classy and elegant in her black gown is the co-writer of the Single of the Year “Mama’s Broken Heart” (Miranda Lambert) has recently been on tour with Jennifer Nettles and more to come in July and August 2014 (See Facebook Events) will also join Eric Church’s The Outsiders World Tour during October and November, see Press Release

All is well Backstage at the ACM’s: “I always try to acknowledge everybody in any category that I ever win” said the country starlet. “I know we all work our ass off … we all give 110 percent all year long, especially Taylor. She’s kind of like her own animal, she’s ridiculous.” – Miranda Lambert

There was no shortage of eye candy with the ladies at the 49th Annual ACM’s but there was plenty to impress the female country fans. With the country music charts dominated by male artists there was no shortage of  handsome fellas who were dressed to impress. Almost everyman rocked a pair of sunglasses, along with a ACM smile of excitement looking forward to the night ahead. Many a female fan would love to lock lips with them and many would have happily played a round and holed out with the male stars at the ACM Lifting Lives Celebrity Golf Classic at TPC Las Vegas on Saturday April 5th!

ACM Awards 2014 Male Fashion:

Blake Shelton: The ACM co-host and nominated artist stayed true to his clean, casual look in a vest, jacket, party jeans and tie! . He made delicious arm candy for the divine creature, that is, the best accessory of the night, Miranda Lambert.

Brantley Gilbert: The “Bottoms Up” singer-songwriter donned a dark blazer, denims and chains. He has seemed to have nominated himself on some ACM Worst Dressed listings and chatting with GAC on the carpet thought he had been nominated for “Worst Dressed” but was assured “he looked good”. Why again the backward ballcap unless you’re a cool 14 year old. An old dirty cap pulled from his truck glove box? Here though later on the red carpet, and a rare occasion, Gilbert is seen minus said baseball cap - Image

Brett Eldredge: The “Don’t Ya”  singer and New Artist of the Year nominee look tanned and went with a summery khaki-coloured suit with the colourful pocket square. He opted for a dressier look, donning a white button-down shirt. May the best hunk make the distance and win!

Chris Janson: The “Better I Don’t” singer and Missouri songwriter who became a dad again in March when lovely wife, Kelly Lynn (Inside Music Row TV presenter), welcomed son Jesse Bo.
Chris Young

Perhaps he hadn’t the time to give his ACM wardrobe so thought. On the carpet he pulled off a sort of careless cool otherwise look and the hat should have been left in his golf bag. It didn’t match the brown jacket, black T or anything beneath his neck .
>> Watch his ACM carpet Interview

Chris Young: The “AW-NAW” singer who had been in town for The 2nd Annual Party for a Cause as part of The Week Vegas Goes Country looked smart in a perfectly fitting silver blazer, bright blue button-down shirt and black pants.

Chuck Wicks: The “Us Again” singer on a new label had a smart clean cut look with a navy blue blazer, shirt and trousers

Cole Swindell – The “Chillin’ It” singer opted for a rather casual look with blazer, matching waistcoat and denims, but couldn’t resist the baseball cap.

Dan + Shay: The poppy “19 You + Me” newcomers and Duo of the Year nominees, Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney, looked cool in dark and light grey suits >> Watch their Red carpet Interview

Darius Rucker: The Single and Song of The Year “Wagon Wheel” nominee and crossover artist donned a smart burgundy suit, black shirt and tie.

David Nail: The “Whatever She’s Got” singer certainly nailed his ACM look, with a smart light blue suit, white shirt and tidy hair

Dierks Bentley – The “I Hold On” ACM performer arrived with a relaxed look sporting a navy T-shirt, denim and brown jacket. >> Watch his Red Carpet Interview

Dustin Lynch: The 28-year old "Cowboys and Angels” singer brought some country style to the carpet with his black alligator cowboy boots and off-white cowboy hat! He paired his country accents with a white button-down and a cornflower blue blazer that perfectly matched his eyes >> Watch his Red Carpet Interview.

Easton Corbin: The “Lovin' You Is Fun”/ “Clockwork” singer dressed in a dark blue blazer and shirt with a grey trouser.

Florida Georgia Line: The Vocal Duo and Single of the Year nominees went with an a hunky and edgy look. The black and white jacket worn by Brian Kelley was made for a country singer with similarities to cattle you would round up.

Frankie Ballard: It was a "Helluva" look and it had been something he has been talking about buying a rhinestone Manuel suit since at least January, and his dream came true. In a Jan. 26 interview with Country Weekly, Ballard said he had one goal should his song "Helluva Life" hit No.1. "I want to buy a full-on Manuel suit. Manuel is one of the most legendary Nudie suits designers ... I'm such a huge fan of that era in country music with the whole rhinestone thing, so I want to get a full-on Manuel suit."
The embellished cobalt suit certainly stood out not that you could miss it. Channelling his inner Little Jimmy Dickens he arrived right on cue in a suit that was reminiscent of the country music red carpets of the past

Hunter Hayes:  Proved that age or gender has nothing to do with dressing well, as the 22-year-old country star stepped on the red carpet in a sleek light grey suit and slicked back hair. Very suave. The 22-year-old “Invisible” singer and ACM performer looked adorable wearing a pale gray suit that he paired with a lavender button-down and matching pocket square. His real statement was his perfectly sleek, side-swept styled hair! An all grown up winning sophisticated look.

Jake Owen:  He let down his long hair and his oxblood red suit (His mum liked red) matched red carpet perfectly. He was with his wife Lacey who wore a gorgeous lace and black number. Owen’s bright colour was refreshing in a sea of typical black suit coats.

Jerrod Niemann: The “Drink To That All Night”/ “Donkey” She Haw singer went with a light grey blazer and black button-down and trouser. Not sure the cap helped matters?

Joel Crouse: The "If You Want Some" singer had a very casual look with black blazer and hands in pocket denim

Justin Moore: Making his 6th ACM carpet appearance The "Point At You” singer and New Artist nominee never seems to be without a drink in his hand. Along with his pregnant wife Kate it was more of a nightclub look rather than elegant.

Keith Urban: The American Idol judge, “Cop Car” singer and multi ACM nominee went with a hunk look in his all black suit and a youthful short hair style. He hooked up with Miranda Lambert on the carpet to be presented with a Vocal Event award trophy from Bob Romeo, the Chief Executive Officer of the ACMs.

Kip Moore: Yet again, why the need for the reverse ball cap for the red carpet. This detracted from 34-year old Kip’s cute and casual look in jeans, a navy T-shirt and denim blazer.

Lady Antebellum‘s Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood - The Vocal Group nominated boys scrubbed up real good and know how to wear a suit well and these suits are a fresh take on spring men’s wear. Excellent look - Image

Lee Brice: The Male Vocalist and Song of the Year nominee sported a dark blazer and button-down that looked far too tight as his lovely wife glowed by his side.

Love and Theft: The “Angel Eyes” Vocal Duo nominees rocked a pair of sunglasses and smart blazers.

Thomas Rhett

Scotty McCreery – The American Idol 2011 winner never fails to impress on the red carpets with his smart looks.
Here he looked grown up and GQ. The 20-year-old “See You Tonight” crooner looked dashing in a gray shirt and matching blazer, which he paired with a black and gray plaid tie, black pants and, of course, cowboy boots! He easily stole a spot in the hunk category.
>> Watch his ACMInterview

Thomas Rhett – The “It Goes Like This” singer-songwriter made his second appearance on the ACM carpet and took a fashion risk with the sleek, metallic purple eggplant suit.
The colour was subtle but not too loud, and he matched it donning a polka dot bow tie. He sported a swept hair style to complement his manly facial hair.

Tyler
Tim McGraw -  With wifey Faith Hill the superstars just ooze class in both the music and fashion realms. McGraw’s perfect-fitting black suit looked replete and perfect next to Hill’s simple powder blue sophisticated looking gown.

Tyler Farr – The “Redneck Crazy” Columbia Nashville artist had an OK outfit but it just seems like he was forced into it. Rule No.1 when choosing a red carpet outfit: be yourself. Farr also has too much going on from the wrist down, including a wrist watch the size of Big Ben.
