Get new music from five-time Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee Mary Chapin Carpenter, including songs from her new record The Things That We Are Made Of, released on May 6, 2016.

Produced by Grammy-nominee Dave Cobb (Jason Isbell, Chris Stapleton), the album features eleven new songs written by Carpenter, including the lead single which can be heard at Rolling Stone, who praises:

It made a debut at #47 on the Official UK Top 100 album chart and #2 on Official UK Country Chart dated May 13 – May 19, 2016 with sales of 1,953. It was just 88 copies short of outselling Cyndi Laupers’ Detour, at #43, which finds her exploring country music for the first time. On the Billboard 200 it has made a debut at #102 (6,400 units) & #42 on Billboard Top Albums, #3 Folk & #8 Top Country albums based on pure sales of 6,249 copies.

Her last album SONGS FROM THE MOVIE made a debut at No.95 on Official UK Albums Top 100 (chart week Feb 1, 2014) and America it shifted 4,000+ copies to land at #75 on the all-genre Billboard 200 and #6 Billboard Folk. Her June 12, 2012 release ASHES AND ROSES sold 7,000 copies to debut in America at #68 on the Billboard 200 (#15 Country). With sales of 5,259 copies it made a debut at #26 on the UK Album Chart and #1 on UK Country Album Chart. Ashes And Roses, Carpenter's 11th studio album, equalled her highest chart placing, as set by STONES IN THE ROAD in 1994. Ashes And Roses' immediate predecessor, The Age Of Miracles, reached only number 101 in 2010.
