Upbeat, spunky and filled with holiday production elements like sleigh bells, jangling guitars and tambourine, “Kiss Me This Christmas” sees sisters Natalia (Nata) and Christina (Tinka) Morris implore a friend they have feelings for to take that leap and see where things go.

“Don’t this feel like the perfect time / With falling snow and the blinking lights / Even the mistletoe is on your side,” they harmonize in the chorus. “I don’t want another gift / Except to feel you on my lips / So here’s your chance, baby don’t miss it / Go on and kiss me this Christmas.”

The friends-to-lovers track was written by Natalia Morris with Jimmy Nash and produced by Catt Gravitt, maintaining the traditional influence American Blonde is so passionate about while creating something fresh and modern.

“One of our many goals in the music business was to write, record, and release an original Christmas song - and we think we knocked it out of the park with ‘Kiss Me This Christmas!’” American Blonde shared. “It’s fun, upbeat, and makes you want to meet the one you love under the mistletoe this holiday season! We hope everyone loves this track as much as we do!”

AMERICAN BLONDE DROPS PLAYFUL, VINTAGE-CLAD VIDEO

FOR HOLIDAY SINGLE “KISS ME THIS CHRISTMAS”

Following Exclusive Premiere with Holler

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (Nov 30, 2023) - American Blonde brought their latest holiday single to life, dropping a playful, vintage-clad video to pair with the recent release “Kiss Me This Christmas” - available today. Directed by Logen Christopher (Stormlight Productions), the sister duo employed the help of their friends, family, and bandmates to create a quintessential Christmas party scene - complete with red solo cups, a faux snowfall, and dripping in tinsel. Fans got a first look at the visual yesterday (11/29) when it premiered exclusively with Holler, who praised, “the band slap their southern spirit all over this delightfully joyful festive ditty and bring us some much needed good tidings to kick off the Christmas season.”

American Blonde’s most recent release was “A Man Like You,” a groove-driven ode to a new relationship that ticks every box. Over a two-stepping rhythm, Nata and Tinka are “refusing to be damsels in distress” and standing “firm in their sense of self” (All Country News), declaring that while they don’t necessarily need a man in their lives and wouldn’t settle for anything less than the best, they’re happy to have found their current partners. The Ryan Slattery-directed music video exclusively premiered with Heartland and features the sisters’ real-life significant others.

American Blonde shared their debut album, Somethin’ in the Water, in 2022 going “from strength to strength with their beautiful vocals and well written, authentic songwriting” (Maverick Magazine). The duo has been rolling out new music since, including the seductive single “Dream in Denim.”

About American Blonde:

In a genre charged with upping the ante in female presence, sisters Natalia (Nata) and Christina (Tinka) Morris effortlessly slip right in, taking their place amongst other high-power vocalists and skilled musicians to add to the trend working to change that.

After initially operating as a trio (Southern Halo), they’ve taken the past few years to slow down and truly define their sound and image, opting to upgrade to the new name American Blonde, and spending their days further rooting themselves in the Music City scene. “We spent our time doing rounds and getting in rooms to write with as many people as possible.

Our songwriting has improved tremendously, being off the road… We’ve learned to be more vulnerable and honest about what’s going on in life. “We’re really proud of where things are headed. We’ve never been more ourselves, and that shows in our music.” A powerhouse of talent, their music is a constantly evolving testament to the Delta roots that nurtured them. Continuing to meld the sounds of their childhood - The Eagles, B.B. King, Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Fleetwood Mac, and more - with those of some of today’s hottest country acts, American Blonde forges forward with a new identity and matured sound, while continuing to deliver memorable performances and a lovable nature that keep fans coming back for more.
