About
Shania Twain
Global Superstar, Celebrated Songwriter and Style Icon Shania Twain is a five-time GRAMMY winner and one of music and fashion’s most renowned trailblazers.
With six albums released and more than 100 million albums sold worldwide, Twain remains the top-selling female country pop artist of all time. Her hits include “Any Man of Mine,” “That Don’t Impress Me Much,” “You’re Still the One” and “Man! I Feel Like A Woman!”. Shania was the first artist in history to release 3 consecutive diamond certified albums. Twain’s first album in 15 years, NOW, was released in September 2017 and debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 albums, making it the first female country release in over 3 years to top the all-genre chart.
The release was followed by a year-long sold-out NOW World Tour.
In 2021, Shania kicked off her second residency in Las Vegas called “Let’s Go!” which completely sold out and continued through September 2022.
The country pop superstar has enjoyed a resurgence in popularity since the release of her 2023 album, QUEEN OF ME, which launched amidst a wave of nostalgia towards her sassy 90s persona.
Queen of the charts: Long dubbed The Queen Of Country Pop, Twain was the royal ruler of the UK album chart for the third time in her career when QUEEN OF ME took the No.1 crown.
Twain’s
sixth studio album, which arrived almost exactly 30 years after her eponymous
debut, and 25 years after her first chart success, COME ON OVER, hit No.1
on consumption of 17,976 units (12,022 CDs, 2,933 vinyl albums, 896 cassettes,
1,379 digital downloads and 746 sales-equivalent streams).
On the Billboard 200 Shania captured her sixth top 10-charting album when QUEEN OF ME, debuted at No. 10 with 38,000 equivalent album units earned. Of that sum, album sales comprised 34,000; SEA units comprised 3,500 (equalling 4.92 million official on-demand streams of the set’s tracks) and TEA units comprised 500. Twain previously visited the top 10 with Now (No. 1 in 2017), Greatest Hits (No. 2; 2004), Up! (No. 1, 2002), Come On Over (No. 2, 1997) and The Woman In Me (No. 5, 1996).

Her
first album for Republic, its success came months after the release of her
career-spanning Netflix documentary NOT JUST A GIRL, which spawned a
Highlights album that reached No.48 last September.
All its songs co-written by Twain, Queen Of Me was the follow-up to her comeback album, NOW, which opened atop the chart in 2017 on consumption of 20,097 units. Now was Twain’s first album in 15 years, partly because Lyme Disease weakened her vocal chords, making it difficult for her to sing.
In
late June 2023 Shania made a guest appearance on the Anne-Marie single
‘UNHEALTHY’, a hyper-camp pop caper with more giddy-up energy than
a night on the sauce with John Wayne. Watch the video HERE.
In
August 2023 Shania announced the release of multiple expanded U.S. and
International Diamond Editions of her all-time classic third studio album,
November 1997’s COME ON OVER, which dropped on August
25, 2023 via Mercury/UMe. In celebration of the benchmark
album’s 25th anniversary and its accumulation of over 40 million-plus in global
album sales, both the U.S. and International versions of Come On
Over were remastered from the original tapes for the first time
ever. Come On Over was released in the following
formats: 3CD Super Deluxe, 3LP Super Deluxe, 3LP International Super Deluxe,
2LP Deluxe, 2CD Deluxe, and Digital. 2LP Deluxe Retail Exclusive.
In
July 2023 she wrapped up the sold-out first leg of her global Queen of Me tour.
The second leg picked up in September in the U.K. with Breland re-joining
as support. She then made her return back to North America in October 2023.
