June
6, 2025 – Rising
country artist Jesse Daniel releases his new album SON OF THE SAN
LORENZO via Lightning Rod Records.
Recorded
live to tape at The Bomb Shelter in Nashville and featuring a collaboration
with Charles Wesley Godwin, the 11-song collection offers up a candid
accounting of Daniel’s remarkable journey, from his early years hitchhiking in
the shadow of the Santa Cruz Mountains to his tumultuous adolescence and
battles with addiction, to the people, and music, that ultimately saved his
life.
This
summer, Daniel will traverse across continents with shows in Brazil, a tour
through Europe, a West Coast run and his debut headline show at the
legendary Texas institution Billy Bob’s. He’ll then make his way down to
Nashville for AmericanaFest, and in October, will tour through Australia. Find
a full list of tour dates below or visit his website.
“I
wrote, arranged and produced this record myself,” shares Daniel. “I
also took on much of the sonic direction, including percussion, rhythm and lead
guitar, harmonies and more, which I think is a really important piece of the
puzzle given how personal these songs are. I felt like I was finally ready to
stop running and face things head on with this record. I felt like I’d matured
enough to go deeper than I ever had before, to try and understand how I get
here and where I’m headed.”
Daniel
shared a series of pre-release singles including the nostalgic ‘Mountain Home’,
which Wide Open Country lauded as “a warm and relaxing song that paints a
beautifully vivid picture.” It followed the heartfelt reflection ‘Time Well
Spent For A Man’ (ft. Charles Wesley Godwin) that earned a rave 9.1 review from
Country Central who called it “beautiful” and the hopeful and soulful first
single ‘My Time Is Gonna Come’, which garnered praise from American
Songwriter, Whiskey Riff, Holler, All Country News
and more.

He’s
now an established, mainstay stalwart of the honky tonk touring circuit that
you can set your watch and compass to, and that young up-and-comers now see as
an influence……The best country music isn’t always just about the here and now.
Sometimes it takes months, years, or even generations for the most important
aspects of country music to reveal their strength and genius. Just as Jesse
Daniel used country music to save his life and get him on the right path, he
now uses the songs of Son of the San Lorenzo to project who he wants
to be, and where he wants to go in the future. – RATING 8.2/10 SAVING COUNTRY MUSIC
Taking
shape while he was on the road last year, the album expands on his sound in a
way that wears its influences on its sleeve, from the California country of the
Eagles and the Flying Burrito Brothers to classic rock like Led Zeppelin and
the Allman Brothers. In addition to the Charles Wesley Godwin feature, it
includes instrumentation from Charlie McCoy, Lynyrd Skynyrd keyboardist Peter
Keys and SteelDrivers banjo player Richard Bailey.
Last
year marked a turning point for Daniel’s career, beginning with creating the
theme song to comedian Dusty Slay’s Netflix special Workin’ Man that was
released in January. He then released his critically-acclaimed album Countin’
The Miles which garnered praise from Billboard, Texas Monthly, Cowboys &
Indians, Bandcamp, BrooklynVegan, Whiskey Riff, No Depression, Holler and many
more. The album went on to debut in the top 30 on the Americana Radio Chart and
led to a tour supporting Godwin. To close out the year, he released a duo of
collaborative singles with Benjamin Tod which was followed by a co-headline
tour.

MARY
CHAPIN CARPENTER’sNEW ALBUM PERSONALHISTORY DROPS
June
6, 2025 —
5x Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter and performer Mary Chapin
Carpenter dropped her new album Personal History on June 6, 2025.
The
eleven-track collection, produced by Josh Kaufman and recorded live at Peter
Gabriel’s Real World Studios in Bath, England, is more autobiographical for the
singer than any project she’s released before.
In
early 2025 the 11-song collection was recorded at Real World Studios in Box,
England, with Josh Kaufman (Bob Weir, The National, The Hold Steady)
producing and a world-class band of musicians: Matt Rollings (piano,
organ, accordion, xylophone), Duke Levine (electricguitar, hammer dulcimer), Chris Vatalaro
(drums, percussion), Cameron Ralston (bass), and Kaufman ( guitar,
organ, harmonium, harmonica). Anais Mitchell lends harmonies to ‘Home Is
A Song.’
Already
receiving critical attention, UNCUT calls it a “late career
highlight” and continues, “Mary Chapin Carpenter has struck a deep vein of
mature singer-songwriting that recalls the way Emmylou Harris surpassed
everything she had done before with 2000’s Red Dirt Girl,” while Music
Row declares, “Acoustic strumming, harmonica and spare percussion set
the mood for her smoky alto delivery…Marvellously listenable.”
Carpenter
shares, “A novel that I’ve loved for years is My Name is Lucy Barton,
written by Elizabeth Strout. There’s this moment where the main character is
taking a creative writing course, and her teacher says to her, ‘You will only
have one story. You will write your one story in many ways.’ I remember reading
that line and taking an audible breath. In that moment, I said out loud to no
one, ‘Oh, that’s what the songs are.’”
“I
started writing the songs on this album as the pandemic began winding down,”
Carpenter recalled. “What Did You Miss pointed the way forward, with its final
verse: ‘I’ve been writing it down / song by song / as a personal history.’ (I
have been) imagining this collection of songs as memoir, and how the wisdom
that comes with growing older becomes a north star, whether one is celebrating
life’s joys or navigating life’s inevitable losses.

On
Personal History, Mary Chapin Carpenter weaves songs from lyrical filaments and
layers of cinematic instrumentation, enfolding us in a rich rhythmic grandeur.
It may be her best album yet, and it is certainly one of the best albums of the
year so far.
- FOLK ALLEY
The
album concludes with Mary Chapin’s signature emotional measure in “Say It
Anyway” — another moving piece…until next time. Highlights – “What Did You
Miss,” “Girl & Her Dog,” “The Saving Things,” “Hello, My Name Is,” “Bitter
Ender,” “The Night We Never Met, & “Home Is a Song,” & “Say It Anyway.”

wonderful, subtle production. If you allow an album to grow on you, the riche
here will become ever more evident with every listen of Mary Chapin Carpenter’s

Nicole
Taylor is a screenwriter, originally from Glasgow. She adapted David Nicholls’
bestseller ONE DAY into a 14 part series for Netflix which went to global
number one and received widespread critical and audience acclaim. She also
wrote THREE GIRLS for BBC1 about the Rochdale grooming scandal, which won five
BAFTAs, and the film WILD ROSE, starring Jessie Buckley and Julie Walters. The
film is now the basis for a new musical, for which Nicole has written the book.
Directed by John Tiffany (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), it received its
world premiere at the Edinburgh Lyceum in March 2025.
On
the heels of the album’s release, Carpenter will join forces with fellow Grammy
Award-winning artist and songwriter, Brandy Clark, for a special US tour
this summer and fall. Additional summer performances include a return to the
legendary Newport Folk Festival on July 27 and a stop at Louisville’s Bourbon
& Beyond Festival on September 12.

One
of music’s “most reliable and empathetic songwriters” (Pitchfork),
Carpenter has sold over 17 million records over the course of her renowned
career. With hits like “Down At The Twist And Shout” and “He Thinks He’ll Keep
Her,” she has won five Grammy Awards (with 18 nominations), two CMA Awards, two
ACM Awards, is one of only twenty-two female members of the Nashville
Songwriters Hall of Fame and is a recipient of the 2023 ACM Honors Poet’s
Award.
Carpenter’s
last solo recording, 2021’s One Night Lonely (Live), was nominated
for Best Folk Album at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards—exactly 30 years after her
very first nomination. A rare solo performance, the album was recorded at
Virginia’s legendary Wolf Trap and features songs from across her acclaimed
career, including from her last solo studio album, The Dirt And The
Stars.

Most
recently, Carpenter released Looking For The Thread, a collaborative
album with legendary Scottish folk stars and songwriters Karine Polwart and
Julie Fowlis. Released to widespread praise, Folk Alley describes it as,
“a set of warm, introspective, and stunningly gorgeous songs…It’s beauty and
warmth touch our souls deeply, and each song is a many faceted gem of love and
hope,” while Music Row calls the project “enchanting” and The Arts
Desk declares, “It’s only January but this is an album of the year…a class
act, heartfelt and beautifully crafted.”
In
addition to her work as a musician, last fall Carpenter unveiled her new
podcast, “Hope is a Muscle,” which finds her in conversation with people from
all walks of life including Joan Baez, Adriene Mishler, John Darnielle and
U.S. Congressman Jamie Raskin. During its run, the podcast was in
the top five music podcasts on both Apple and Spotify Platforms. Previously, in
2020, Carpenter released the three-part audio liner notes podcast, “One Story,”

NASHVILLE,
TENN. –
Today, the Iowa-born, Nashville-based singer/songwriter Hailey Whitters released
her new album Corn Queenvia Pigasus Records /
Big Loud Records / Songs & Daughters.
Produced
once again by herlongtime collaborator (and now-husband) Jake
Gear, the 16-song collection is a rousing reflection on Whitters'
midwestern roots and the joys and struggles of small-town living, featuring
special guests Molly Tuttle, Charles Wesley Godwin and The
Wilder Blue. This morning, Whitters released the official video for
the dreamy and ethereal “White Limousine,” directed by Beth
Brinker, that tells the story of a small town girl with fantasies of the glitz
and glamour of a faraway life.
With
‘Corn Queen,' Hailey Whitters delivers a love letter to the Midwest, to the
women who raised her, to herself and to the ever-evolving sound of country
music. It’s an album full of character, conviction and charm – an absolute gem
– much like Hailey Whitters herself. – 4.1/2 STARSEF COUNTRY
Bluegrass
star Molly Tuttle joins Whitters on guitar and vocals on “Prodigal Daughter”,
and country folk artist Charles Wesley Godwin duets on “I Don’t Know You”.
These two songs provide a welcome musical contrast to the other cuts on the
album. These cuts are more explicitly serious and show Whitters’ ability to
play and sing it straight. While 16 tracks may seem too much to put on one
record, are there ever too many kernels to fit on an ear of corn? All hail the
queen!
– 8/10 RATING Pop Matters
“Whitters
delivers the humility of small-town life through 16 tracks of clever,
insightful lyrics and twangy, foot-tapping melodies” – POSITIVE Review HOLLER
Watch
the video for “White Limousine”:
About
the new song, Whitters explains: “I've waited a long time to put out this
record. I wrote and recorded this song for a duets record called Countrypolitan that
unfortunately never will see the light of day, but this was always my favorite
song on that record so it gives me triumph to be able to reclaim it on Corn
Queen. This song defines the 'Queen' side of the album. The video captures
that romanticized escapism that anyone who's ever lived in a small town has
probably experienced at some point or another. I know I definitely did! Props
to my creative director Beth Brinker for bringing Palm Springs to the
cornfield.”
Following
her album release party earlier this week at Skinny Dennis presented by Holler,
Whitters will celebrated the album release with an in-store performance and
signing at Grimey's (Friday, June 6, 2025 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM) . Fans could purchase the vinyl LP
and CD at Grimeys.com or inside the record store for a signing wristband. Later
that evening, Whitters performed at Spotify House Live
At Ole Red at 7:30 p.m. as part of CMA Fest.

Ahead
of the release, Whitters released a handful of critically-acclaimed songs “I
Don't Want You” (feat. Charles Wesley Godwin), “High On The
Hog,” and “High On A Heartbreak” that were
praised by BrooklynVegan, Country Central,Music
Row, Stereogum, Wide Open Country and many
more.
“Prodigal
Daughter” featuring Molly Tuttle was named one of the Best Songs
of 2025 (So Far) by Vulture and praised as “Hailey at her
best” by All Country News. At the top of the year, she shared
shared “Casseroles,” which was lauded as a “Song
You Need to Know” (Rolling Stone), a “nuanced reflection on
grief and recovery” (Billboard), “an undeniable triumph” (Holler),
a “testament that she can hang with some of the genre's best” (Country
Central), “proof she's only getting better” (Wide Open Country) and
“a beautiful and striking tune” (Whiskey Riff).
“Fans
started calling me the 'Corn Queen' because I'm from Iowa,” Whitters says about
the album's title. “At first, it seemed kind of silly, but the more I thought
about it, the more I loved the duality of it. Corn is this simple, humble crop,
and 'queen' implies royalty passed down through blood. I come from a long line
of blue-collar farmers and construction workers. I've been out here for over a
decade brushing my teeth in truck stop bathrooms, sleeping on hotel floors,
driving myself from gig to gig. It's not glamorous, but I'm proud of it. I like
the idea of a queen with a little grit and elbow grease.”
Throughout
the summer, Whitters will perform at a handful of music festivals, with
additional dates to be announced soon. Find a full list of tour dates below or

Releases “Long Live Country” Lyric Video as a Tribute to His Hometown
(June 6, 2025 – Nashville,
TN) Rising Triple
Tigers Records artist, Shane Profitt, is
celebrating the people who’ve shaped his life in his latest release, “Long Live Country,” out
now. Written by Profitt, Matt Rogers and Lindsay Rimes, the autobiographical
track shines a big spotlight on the singer’s small town and the
beer-swiggin’, SEC game-watchin’, Jesus-lovin’ people who make it up.Profitt
was born and raised in Columbia, Tennessee, where until recently he worked for
the city mowing ditches. He pays homage to his blue-collar life in the artwork
for “Long Live Country”
and couldn’t be prouder of the place and people that made him who he is. This
song is an anthem for small town Country.
“If you spend an hour in my hometown, you’ll experience
every lyric of this song. It’s about my life, my town and the people who
are just like me.” - Shane Profitt
Alongside the track, Profitt
has released a retrospective lyric video as a tribute to the life he writes and
sings about. It is an authentic look into an artist who gives voice to the
working class.
WATCH:“Long Live Country” Lyric Video:
“Long Live Country”
follows Profitt’s heartfelt “Penny to My Name,” which released earlier this
year. The moving track serves as a reminder that money doesn’t buy happiness –
it’s the memories you make with the ones you love.
Be
sure to catch Profitt out on the road this year playing music festivals and
select tour stops with Scotty McCreery, Darius Rucker and Jason Aldean. For

About Shane Profitt:
A salt-of-the-earth southerner with a
straight-shooting swagger and kind smile, Shane Profitt is an authentic,
all-natural talent who is poised to become one of Nashville’s most exciting new
acts.
The
25-year-old from Columbia, TN began his musical journey only a few years ago
with a simple ambition - to learn to play Hank Jr. songs on the guitar.
Beginning with three chords (G, C and D) and by putting in the time, he quickly
mastered the instrument. Gifted with a heavy-duty vocal, Profitt became a
regular draw at the popular southern cooking chain, Puckett’s, traveling all
over Tennessee to weekend shows while still holding down his job back home
working for the city of Columbia mowing ditches. Since then, he has rocked
sold-out shows at the historic Ryman Auditorium, earned standing ovations at
the Grand Ole Opry, and is writing modern Country music rooted in his
blue-collar upbringing. With tracks like, “Still Picks Up,” the
emerging artist introduces more layers and emotion to his usual feel-good,
windows-down sound, storytelling in a way that hits close to home every time.
The
vulnerable tune followed the debut of his upfront writing style and
barrel-chested voice on the three-song collection Maury County Line (BMLG
Records/Harpeth 60 Records). With tracks like the hook filled honky-tonker “Better
Off Fishin’,” chest-thumping charmer “Guys Like Me,” and
his hopeful heaven-on-earth Top 15 Country radio single “How It Oughta
Be,” it’s clear he puts his life to music — along with the lives of so
many others. Now, Profitt is stepping into his next chapter with Maverick
Nashville Management and joining the roster of Triple Tigers Records, each
stewarding his talents towards a long-lasting and impactful career. Earlier
this year, Profitt released his debut track with Triple Tigers Records, “Penny
To My Name,” and his recent release, “Long Live Country,” is out
now.

SINGER-SONGWRITER DYLAN GOSSETT DROPS NEW SINGLE “SWEET LADY” TODAY
From
His Forthcoming Debut Album Westward Out July 18
The
Westward Tour Across North America This Fall Is On Sale Now
NASHVILLE,
TENN. (June 6, 2025) – Platinum-certified and critically acclaimed singer,
songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer Dylan Gossett unveils
his latest offering, “Sweet Lady,” from his much-anticipated
forthcoming debut album, Westward, out next month on July
18 via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records.
Listen
to “Sweet Lady” here.
(preferred music platform) or below:
Written
over the span of the past two years while touring the globe, the 17-track Westward album
was written and entirely self-produced by Gossett. It features his signature
heart-on-his-sleeve storytelling and explores themes of love, family, faith and
chasing one's dreams. His new single “Sweet Lady” was written as a love letter
while on the road and is dedicated to the person who makes home a place worth
missing. On the song, Gossett shares, “This song is for me and all the guys in
the band. It's about loving where you are in the moment, and promising that
we'll be back home soon.” Watch a live performance of “Sweet Lady” from
Austin's Orb Studios here:
Westward also includes Gossett's
recent singles “American Trail” and “Like I Do.” He
continues, “I think Westward means two things, generally. This album is very
on-the-road written. You have all these bits and pieces from these stories that
are really just about life on the road. The other side of it, and where the
Westward title comes into play, was that these past few years have been so
crazy and just incredible. I feel like we've been chasing our dream the whole
way. People have always headed west for opportunities and chase their dreams by
going out there. That's where I tie it in a little bit, metaphorically.
Everyone on the crew is chasing their dreams, in some way.”Watch
the official album trailer here
(Instagram).
This
week, Gossett played a string of live shows across Nashville for CMA Week,
including his debut performance at the Grand Ole Opry for their Opry 100
Celebration, Country Central's Whiskey Jam, and Spotify House.
Cementing
himself as a global touring force, Gossett sold over 72,000 global tickets in
2024 alone. Tonight, he wraps the second leg of his headline The
Back 40 Tour following his recent Stagecoach Festival debut.
Up next, he'll hit the road this summer on The American Trail Tour across
the midwest and west, ahead of newly announced The Westward Tour,
which will see him performing in the biggest venues of his career thus far
across North America this fall. His festival run will also continue throughout
the summer, with performances at Windy City Smokeout, Under
The Big Sky, Bourbon & Beyond, and the newly
announced Austin City Limits. All upcoming tour dates are below,
and tickets are on-sale now at www.dylangossett.com.
Over
the past two years, Dylan Gossett has emerged as one of the biggest and
brightest new stars in country music. In less than two years, he has
notched over 800 million total streams. His breakout single “Coal” picked up a Platinum certification in
the United States, in addition to going Silver in the U.K., Platinum
in Australia, 2x-Platinum in Canada, and 2x-Platinum in
Ireland. The song marked his first entry on the Spotify U.S. Top 200
Chart, Billboard Hot 100 Chart, and U.K. Official Singles
Chart Top 100. Not to mention, it broke into the Top 25 of the Billboard Country
Digital Songs Chart and Top 5 of the Spotify Viral 50 U.S. and Global Charts.
It's no wonder major players such as Spotify and Amazon pegged him as an “Artist
To Watch” in 2024, while MusicRow named him among
its “Next Big Thing Class of 2025 Artists.”
Capping
off a monumental 2024, Gossett released his fan favorite single “Tree
Birds” last fall. Amazon Music also tapped Dylan to contribute “Don't
Think Twice, It's All Right (Amazon Music Original);” plus, he was featured
on the GRAMMY®-nominated Twisters: The Album Soundtrack with
his original song “Stronger Than A Storm.” Not to mention, he
delivered a showstopping rendition of “Coal” during ESPN's College
GameDay at his alma mater Texas A&M—watch a clip of his

ABOUT
DYLAN GOSSETT
Dylan
Gossett is a 26-year-old singer-songwriter from Austin, Texas. Gossett began
writing and recording music during his early teen years using Garage Band on
his mother's computer. Throughout high school, college at Texas A&M, and a
job at Formula 1 Racing, music remained Gossett's true passion. Inspired to
finally release music by a new generation of singer-songwriters he saw emerging
online, Dylan began posting videos of his songs in April 2023 — immediately,
his music struck a chord with a global audience.
Gossett
released his first single “To Be Free” (entirely self-written,
recorded, produced, and mixed in his bedroom) in June 2023. Shortly thereafter,
he teased a snippet of what would become his next song and breakout viral hit “Coal.”
The video instantly took off, gaining over one million views within the first
week. He quickly got back into his bedroom and created the song from scratch
before releasing it in July 2023.
Since its release, “Coal” has garnered over
428 million global streams, received Platinum Certifications in the U.S.,
Australia, Canada (2x) and Ireland (2x), debuted on the Billboard Hot
100 in the U.S. and the Official Singles Chart Top 100 in the U.K., reached the
Top Five on the Country Radio Chart in Australia, and climbed the Spotify U.S.
Top 200. The New York Times called “Coal” “one of the
year's best country songs,” and Billboard declared, “'Coal'
and 'To Be Free' position Gossett as a formidable, heart-on-his-sleeve
singer-songwriter with immense potential.”
In
October 2023, Gossett released his highly anticipated debut EP No BETTER
TIME (also self-written, recorded, produced, and mixed in his
bedroom) via Big Loud Texas / Mercury Records. The EP received a slew of
critical acclaim from The New York Times, Billboard, Grammy.com, Atwood
Magazine, MusicRow, Holler, Country Central,
and more. He then followed it up with his widely praised 2024 EP, Songs In
The Gravel, which he wrote and self-produced, while
also teaming up with notable producers Eddie Spear and Ian Fitchuk on a few
tracks. On the touring front, his first-ever headline (and international) tour
in spring 2024, dubbed the “No Better Time Tour,” sold-out
immediately upon on-sale. He returned to the road last fall with his critically
acclaimed “The Back 40 Tour.” Gossett also supported
Noah Kahan in arenas across Australia and Morgan Wallen at Houston's Minute
Maid Park. Not to mention, he made his festival debuts at Stagecoach Festival,
SXSW, CMA Fest, Country 2 Country, Hangout Music Festival, Tortuga Music
Festival, Two Step Inn Festival, and more. Now, Gossett kicks off what promises
to be a massive year with the announcement of his highly anticipated debut
album, Westward, out July 18.
