So what were the country stars and presenters wearing:
Ladies first (A – Z)

Carrie Underwood – The CMA 47th Annual CMA Awards co-host with three times nominated artist looked stunning on the Bridgestone Arena red carpet which for her is country home turf. She wore a fabulous Ralph & Russo Couture (above) dusky-pink long-sleeved sheer gown enriched with delicate rose-gold floral-and-crystal embellishment. Carrie styled the look with Jimmy Choo Fayme sandals (image) from the Spring 2013 collection featuring sheer lace panels, beige suede, thin platform and 120mm heel. Pageant hair gave way to a sleeker ‘do which was swept over to one side and styled in cascading country glam maxi curls. A textured bronze Jimmy Choo Cloud clutch and Johnathon Arndt jewels provided the finishing touches for the “Blown Away” singer.
Celebrity Jeweler Johnathon Arndt designed a matching pair of 11.86 carats of Flawless Radiant Cut, D Color diamond studs.  Carrie Underwood also wore a Johnathon Arndt 13.11 Carat Flawless Pear Shape, D Color Solitaire Ring on her right hand.
The magnificent diamonds came in at a price just shy of eight million dollars! For more information about Johnathon Arndt Gallery of Jewels, please visit www.JohnathonArndt.com.

Carrie changed ensembles each time she has to announce a new CMA performance. Carrie’s red carpet look was just the of the co-host’s impressive fashion run, as she made a grand total of eight wardrobe changes.

Carrie’s 8 CMA 2013 stage looks
a) Carrie kicked off her co-host and performance night with a cotton-candy confection of a dress; a pink petal-laced number by Christian Siriano. She accented the plunge-front, high-low gown with Brumani jewels, matching pink Christian Siriano sandals and a bubblegum-lacquered lip.
b) Next up, she cut things short in a Georges Chakra Spring 2013 Couture navy cut-out frock, with pink and orange colour-block panels and a sequin waistband. Sherbet-hued sandals from Christian Siriano and David Yurman jewels, along with a half-up, half-down ‘do, added the finishing touches.
c) A shiny metallic Talbot Runhof wrap column glamorous dress followed. She accessorized the glittery gown with a giant Baccarat ring and Sutra earrings, along with Ryan Haber shoes. A low side ‘do' contributed to the old Hollywood appeal.
d) Carrie showed off her pins legs in a daring ensemble from Indian designer, Alpana Neeraj. She complemented the sporty-sultry, bronze sequined jumper dress, which featured an exaggerated step hemline, with Rupert Sanderson peep-toe heels and a Melinda Maria ring. Her long, blonde waves and pretty makeup softened the look eased some of the edginess.

e) Carrie emphasised her leggy look during her medley show in a Chagoury long-sleeve romper and Loriblu sparkling, fringed booties.
f) She went with another Alpana Neeraj look, she quick-changed into an embellished, sheer-effect dress with complex detail and a tulle-accented hemline, paired with strappy Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and sizable David Yurman statement earrings.
h) Passing on the skirts, Carrie stepped out in an embossed and embellished Badgley Mischka Spring 2013 navy cocktail pants, which she wore with a white cropped top from the same collection. Dana Rebecca Designs jewels, a retro sparkling headband and Stuart Weitzman shoes completed her shiny, free-spirited look (confused hippie?)
i) Rounding off her CMA 2013 evening she trotted out a pants-centric with a dose of florals number, in an Elena Reva long-sleeved top and funky, floral-printed pants, rendered in a bright palette of blue and chartreuse. David Yurman jewels once again made an appearance, alongside Stuart Weitzman pumps

The 29-year-old soon to be 30 star flaunted her seksi slim figure.
She has always been confident with her curves but she decided to drop the pounds - “I just feel like I needed to get ahead of the game — I’m going to be 30 on Sunday and people say, are you OK about turning 30 and I guess I am, but I guess I’m not because I feel like everybody always says ‘It goes downhill from there.’ So I just thought, maybe if I get ahead of it a little I won’t have to work so hard later in life,” she told People.com in the press room after the CMA Awards.  “All through my 20s I worked a lot — I was on the road since I was 17 and the road life is a lot of fast food and a lot of late nights and a lot of drinking — I didn’t give up drinking. I refused. You have to drink to put up with my husband! Just kidding! But I just felt that I should get a little more healthy and I have a record coming out in the spring and it’s a very important album to me — it’s my fifth album — and I have this spot, I found a great spot in country music and I want to keep it.”
I didn’t give up really a lot really. Just Cheetos mostly! But I might have some tonight, just to celebrate!” Everything in moderation! – Before and After hollywoodlife

Complementing her grown up look she donned Jimmy Choo Logan peep-toe pumps (image). These heels feature a d’Orsay design, champagne glitter lamé, textured gold leather and peep-toe.
