“The nostalgia of Dolly Parton's 'Hard Candy Christmas' has been a special part of Christmas ever since I can remember,” Hadlie shares. “It's such a beautiful song about moving on and knowing it's all going to be okay, even when you don't think it will be. I wanted to record a bluegrass/country version to hopefully inspire that nostalgia in a new generation of people.”

has taken her mountaintop soul and Appalachian storytelling to the Nashville scene in a major way. Performing at every talent show she could find as a child, Maddie’s love for music deepened with age. After graduating college in the Blue Ridge Mountains, she moved to Nashville and immersed herself in the city’s songwriting community. The COVID-19 pandemic became a turning point, prompting her to commit to music full-time.

Since releasing her debut single in September 2023, Maddie’s career has taken off. Her breakout track “Sober” has racked up nearly 400,000 organic streams, earning praise for her raw lyricism and magnetic voice.
