The inaugural Nashville Meets London festival,
which took place Aug. 13-14 in Canada Square Park in London, England, drew
thousands of festival goers to the Canary Wharf estate. The event drew an
impressive number of fans and left an overwhelmingly positive response among
UK-based Country music fans and locals.
Event co-producer, Peter Conway commented saying, “While we were
confident going into this event and what we could expect, never did we imagine
the kind of response we had.”
The 2-day event showcased established artists
and exciting new talent, and included four acts representing the United States
and six acts representing the United Kingdom. From the United States were American Young, Logan
Brill, Ty Herndon, and Logan
Mize, and representing the United Kingdom were Yola Carter, Megan O’Neill, Pauper Kings, Hannah Rose
Platt, and William the
Conqueror.
Big Yellow Dog Music artist and festival performer, Logan Mize commented saying, “It was one of the most well organized festivals I’ve ever played; great production, great sound, great setting, and great people to work with. I’m waiting for another call to do it again.”
