Despite its lofty debut,
From Out Of Nowhere’s first week consumption of 21,062 units (including

“Occupying a space between folk grooves and rootsy
blues, and coloured by pithy lyrical observations.” - Rob Hughes, UNCUT
“… a treasure.
Part Springsteen, part Townes Van Zandt, part Dylan, part Lennon, Jerry Leger
is a songwriter’s songwriter and the truth of it is born out utterly by the
upcoming November release of his newest album, Time Out for Tomorrow. Smart
lyrics coupled with exquisite music makes for an album that is pure
brain-tickling ear candy.” - Marc Michael, THE PULSE
"With Leger's new track 'Canvas of Gold,' we get
the kind of sentimental and rootsy blues-meets-country soul that is reminiscent
of the more faster tunes of Magnolia Electric Co. while also bringing to mind a
'70s country rock sound." - Neil Ferguson, GLIDE MAGAZINE
"Firmly
rooted in the classic and vintage sounds that dominated the output of many
early '70s bands in America, Time Out For Tomorrow is as impressive as anything
in Leger’s back catalogue." - Declan Culliton, LONESOME HIGHWAY
“Jerry Leger’s greatest strength is his songwriting,
and Time Out For Tomorrow is another great example of that strength. The result
is a fantastic album that easily engages the listener from start to finish.” – Ted

An album full of songs from my past and present, tells
the story of heartbreak, love, and moving forward. A time capsule of the last 7
years of my life growing as a woman and an artist. This album is perfect
representation of my love for country music.
The reason I named this album TIME was the word itself
has been following me for the last few years. My mom was diagnosed with stage 4
lung cancer 2 years ago and It felt like my whole world came crashing down and
in that moment you become so aware of TIME.

(8 Nov 2019) Lockwood Barr - Christmas in
Memphis (Lockwood Barr) CHRISTMAS
Singing the Christmas classics as well as an original
song, this project is a must add to your playlist this Christmas season.
The five song EP has Lockwood Barr singing some of our
favorite Christmas classics as well as an original song where she teams up with
Barrett Baber (3rd place on season 9 of The Voice and wrote Cody Johnson’s
current single “Nothin’ On You”).
“Christmas in Memphis” was a song that wrote itself as
she told Raised On It:
Barrett and I met on the road down in Key West about a
year and a half ago during a BMI festival. I immediately connected to his
soulful and bluesy sound, which has been a growing vibe in my own music, and
knew I wanted to work with him. He grew up close to Memphis, very influenced by
the blues, and I’ve personally always had a soft spot for the city. We sat
down, and the lyrics and melody poured out. It almost seemed like the song was
already in the air, and Barrett and I were just lucky to reach up and grab it
in time.

She shared with fans: So pleased I can finally share Lie To Me with you
all, it’s one of my favourites.
I wrote this with one of my closest friends Jon Green about 6 years ago,
we wrote it in a studio in West Hampstead on a beautiful grand piano.
Story behind the song... I remember when I first sat down to write it,
Jon played me something which I thought was kind of reminiscent of a Willie
Nelson song. We played around a bit and the words kind of fell out. For you old
school fans I wrote LIE TO ME, COOL & HOME within two days of each other.
I have no shame in admitting that I was really heartbroken at the time,
Ever been so in love that you just wanted the other person to lie to you bc for
a minute it makes it easier? Well I was that girl, and as pathetic as I was
(and I was really pathetic) it led me to write this song. So now I’m just
trying to make some money out my pain Worked for Adele!!
All joking aside, in all seriousness, thank you for always supporting
me, coming to the shows, buying merch, supporting these songs. Without you guys
none of this would be possible, I love you guys so much!!!!
Now when I sing lie to me I don’t get choked up, I feel sorry for the
girl that wasted so many tears on someone & wish I could go back, shake
her, and tell her that she is way better off!! Don't know why I’m speaking in
the 3rd person, I’m being weird! Time to go!!

615 Hideaway Records is proud to announce its second #1

Blaylock and Redline goes #1 on the Bluegrass Today Weekly Chart. This #1 song joins Blaylock’s other #1

“‘Love Is an Awful Thing,’…I believe is a
perfect bridge between tradition and the future. I think the lyrics and the musical
interpretation — as well as vocal interpretation — show a fresh approach to
bluegrass music and still pay homage to the roots and tradition that it came
from.” — Audie Blaylock

(7 Nov 2019) Genevieve
Fisher is set to release a new
single on Tuesday November 12th called 1943 (Nanna's Song). Here
is Genevieve in her own words.
"1943 (Nanna's Song) is probably the most personal
song I've written to date. I wrote this song with my dear friend Jeff Cohen in
Nashville back in 2017. Because this song isn't your standard "country
radio song", I hesitated releasing it. As an independent artist, I have a
lot of fears about my music. Fears of rejection and failure. But when I sat
down and thought about the lyrics of this song and what this song means to me,
I seriously just said "to hell with it all, I am releasing this
song!" It truly means everything to me, and I want the world to hear it. I
know for a fact so many of you will be able to relate to this song. I hope it
tugs at your heart strings and allows you to reflect on the memories of your
mother or grandmothers.
This writing session will forever remain memorable for
me. I remember it like it was yesterday. It was an extremely emotional writing
session. Jeff helped me bring this song to life, and I can't imagine having
written it with anyone else. I broke down in this session, and boy oh boy there
were a lot of tears. I remember Jeff looking at me and saying,
"This...this is exactly why we write music." My Nanna is truly one of
the most important people in my life. She has been one of my biggest supporters
and fans from the beginning. She has watched me go through the highest of highs,
and lowest of lows. She has helped shape the woman I am today. The fact that
she is still here on earth makes this song even more special. I am beyond
grateful that she can experience the release of this song with me and grateful
that I can share it with you. I know how proud she is of me, but I don't think
she knows how proud I am to have her as my grandmother. Listen on Soundcloud

(5 Nov 2019) Taylor Swift says releasing standalone singles "feels like a big
general wave pressured by people in power"
Taylor Swift has opened up about the evolving music
landscape in a new interview.
Speaking with Music Week, Taylor was asked about
artists not releasing albums in the way she does. Taylor has put out albums in
the traditional sense, trailed by a series of singles before dropping a record
in a number of physical formats. Some artists are choosing to surprise release
their albums with minimal promotion, while some acts now choose to drop
standalone singles, putting albums on the back burner altogether.
"As long as people dropping just singles want to
be doing that, then I'm fine with it, but it feels like a big general wave
that's been pressured by people in power, that's not cool. I do really hope
that in the future artists have more of a say over strategy. We're not just
supposed to make art and hand it to a team that masterminds it."

(11 Nov 2019) Interview: Lady Antebellum’s Charles
Kelley discusses honest new album OCEAN and the impact of life
changes on the band’s music. Pip Ellwood-Hughes chatted with Charles Kelley
recently where he dishes quite a bit about new album Ocean out Nov 15th.
Your new album Ocean is
coming out. I’ve had it for a little while now and I genuinely think this is
the best record you’ve ever done. It’s got the classic Lady A magic but you go
into new territory lyrically. Tell me a bit about the process of putting this record
together…
It’s definitely a way more
vulnerable record. I will speak personally that I’ve really gone through a lot
of life changes it seems like in the past few years. I really was having to
assess myself and look at who I wanted to become. I think having a kid really
does that to you. I was really struggling with connecting to my spirituality
and I was drinking too much, all kinds of stuff, and I just kind of got to the
point where I knew I needed to rein it back in. Be Patient With My Love, that
was the first song after I wrote it that I sent to Hillary and Dave. They were
like, ‘OK, this is real. We need to start trying to really even be more honest
for all the rest of the songs we picked for this record’.... Read More Entertainment-focus
"Blazer finishes off with a slowed down cover of
Sweet Child of Mine," Thomas Burns Scully (Popdust) "It's
well-conducted, emotional, and familiar. She uniquely layers her vocals and
adds pre-shocks and echoes that elevate it above just being another cover. It's
a sweet, melancholy way to close out an album, but it's still a bold
finish."

latest single, “Whatcha Drink ‘Bout,” available now on all video

"No matter what you’re drinkin’, we’re all

and everyone’s drinkin ‘bout something," says Quayle.
During its first week of release, the single was among
the Top 10 most added at country radio with 19 stations playing the record.

(8 Nov 2019) Southern Halo's latest lyric
video, "Missing Mississippi," marks
home and family on an emotional map as it reflects on the Morris sisters'
connection to the state of their birth. The creative clip is filled with a
montage of personal photographs that range from toddler to teen interspersed
with high-energy stage snaps, text message screenshots and images of keepsakes
and mementos of their travels. The often moving visuals offer a refreshing and
surprisingly deep dive into the "sister soul" togetherness and
Southern grace that are central to Natalia (principal songwriter, guitarist,
lead vocalist), Christina (drums) and Hannah (bass), and solidify the sense of
"family" and "home."
The song details the first night
Natalia spent alone in the siblings' Nashville condo. The lyric video, created
by DiamondBack Productions, premiered
on The Boot .
Natalia recalls, "I started writing this one the very first night I spent alone in Nashville. I was so homesick; all I had was an air mattress and my acoustic guitar and my emotions just came pouring out. A few days later, Jennifer Adan (Blake Shelton, New Medicine) helped me finish the song. I still cry every time I hear it."
The song, from Southern Halo's 2018 album, JUST LIKE IN THE MOVIES, is a fan favorite at shows, and releasing the lyric video is a way for the group to acknowledge the support Halo-ites have given the tune.

Lambert gets a little choked up in the video above as
