Sandra Lynn Shines in Video for Latest Single, “Hey California”
Premiering Exclusively on Taste of Country

(Nashville, Tenn. – August 15, 2017)
Country singer-songwriter, Sandra Lynn has debuted the video for her single, “Hey California;” exclusively available on Taste of Country (here). The video showcases a playful romance between Lynn, with on-screen love interest, actor Liam McNeil ("Manchester by the Sea").

The video was shot over two days on location in Los Angeles. Viewers will recognize many of Los Angeles' famous landmarks including the Hollywood Walk of Fame, Griffith Observatory, Chinese Theater and the iconic coast of Malibu. "I had an absolute blast shooting the music video for my latest single, ‘Hey California!' Not only did we get to film in some of Los Angeles's most iconic locations, but I also got to work with my incredibly good and talented friends,” comments Lynn.

The video, directed by husband and wife duo, Brandon Hess and Tara Tucker, captures the spirit of the song perfectly. “Brandon and Tara went above and beyond to deliver a visual, beautiful video that captures the essence of what I was trying to communicate when I wrote the song. I hope fans love it as much as I do!" says Lynn.

“Hey California” premiered earlier this summer on Radio Disney and has since garnered over 200,000 streams on Spotify. Co-written by Lynn and Dave Brainard (Brandy Clark), who also produced the track, the song describes a picture-perfect day on the West Coast and all that comes with it—sunshine, romance, with a hint of mystery.

Currently, Lynn is busy writing, putting her lyrics to melodies, recording and putting the finishing touches on her highly-anticipated, full-length debut album due out January 2018. Fans can expect to hear more of Lynn’s unique blend of California vibes and contemporary country sound throughout the upcoming album. Lynn’s goal is to create music that strikes a chord with people, to get them dancing or through a hard time—letting her lyrics speak for themselves.
