Nashville,
TN based singer-songwriter Jenny Tolman is very
busy finishing her album, and set to release the first single this Friday,
September 15!
She
shares: “One of my favorite things about country music is that it's rooted in
storytelling. I love writing songs that
tell stories of crazy, lovable characters, and transport you to another
world. Hence, "Stripper For a Week"!
CABARET COUNTRY: The jazzy-bluesy
single laced with wah-wah electric and steel guitar riffs depicts a super fun
character based on following a girl around town all envisioned from Jenny’s creative mind!
Workin’ hard doing two jobs and struggling to pay the bills Jenny
dreams of what’s it like in a glitter-spray-from-head-to-toe world standing
around in high platforms with the fellas hollerin’ and the feelin’ those dollar
bills kissing around her pretty cheeks! #StripperForAWeek
“If you’ve got it flaunt it…shake
what mama gave me and get out of this hole”

About Jenny Tolman
Nashville Singer-Songwriter | I write songs to heal the emotional pain of not being able to eat gluten
With an old blue-eyed soul, 21-year-old Jenny Tolman is bold and courageous behind a guitar, able to make sense of life’s ironies by putting them under a poetic microscope.
Born and raised in Nashville TN, having grown up around
the music business, her grasp of country music’s roots is well beyond her
years.
Often compared to a young Emmylou Harris, Jenny’s voice is powerful in its subtlety, and vibrant in its personality. As she’s been performing around the country from California to Massachusetts, having opened for such acts as Alabama, Brandy Clark, Love and Theft, and Blood Sweat and Tears, the response from fans of all ages has been overwhelming.

Jenny is currently in the studio with Grammy Nominated producer Dave Brainard (Brandy Clark/ Jerrod Niemann/ Jamey Johnson/ Sunny Sweeney), and is working on her first full-length album. Brainard says, “Hearing Jenny sing is like uncorking a vintage wine. The honesty and purity of her voice is like a velvet dagger. It kills you in the best kind of way.”
Jenny Tolman brings a fresh purity to an art form that so many of us cherish.
