Carter Sampson announces October/November tour dates in UK

CARTER SAMPSON announces October/November tour dates in Netherlands and UK and offers free download of Rattlesnake Kate from the new EP in TRIO version

CARTER SAMPSON burst onto the European Americana scene with the release of her album WILDER SIDE and the 6 follow up tours within the year of release. Her songs, charm and interaction with the crowds have won her an ever growing fan base over the past few years. And then of course, there's that voice.

Her early 2018 release LUCKY firmly confirmed her status as one of the most important artists hailing from Oklahoma, the new capital of great Americana music.
This fall, the Queen of Oklahoma, after a longer absence, will be embarking on a new European tour that will take her to the Netherlands, England and Scotland.

This will be the first tour where she will be bringing two of her US band members. Kyle Reid and Jason Scott will be backing her up on various string instruments and backing vocals.
Especially for the occasion Carter and her 2 tour companions have recorded NEW trio versions of 4 originals and a cover: all 5 crowd pleasers in Carter's live sets, now in the setting they will sound in on European stages in October and November.

Carter Sampson TRIO releases October 10, 2019.

ABOUT
Carter Sampson is an Okie born, Oklahoma City based singer-songwriter. Blessed by a musical legacy from a family that includes such talents as Roy Orbison, Carter’s journey as a musician seems to have been predestined. A naturally independent free spirit, what started as a pass-time at age 15 had matured into a dedicated passion of creation and performance.
Her empowering, relatable and appealing music has garnered her an incredibly diverse and loyal fan base. Audiences and sound engineers alike find that appearances can be deceiving as this diminutive figure delivers a powerful and compelling performance. Carter plays many outdoor festivals which have included Rock Bend Folk Festival in Saint Peter, MN, the Paseo Arts Festival, the Oklahoma City Festival of the Arts, The Illinois River Jam and has performed multiple times at the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival in Okemah, OK.
As a relatable artist, her empowering music appeals to a wide range of folks, who are incredibly and admirably loyal to her and her work.
She’s the founder and director of Oklahoma City’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Camp for Girls, which always partners with nonprofit organizations that empower girls and women through music education.
The inspiring artist also averages about 220 shows annually – in areas like Oklahoma and Arkansas, as well as Colorado, New Mexico and Texas. But as the self-penned ‘Queen of Oklahoma,’ Sampson’s red boots are happiest when they’re on her home turf.
