2017 it was with regret that Dahlia announced that the lovely Lisa Wright had decided to part ways
with the trio and would no longer be a member moving forward.
Paris & Jess shared on Facebook "Lisa has been with us right from the start and gave all that she could but has chosen to focus on other parts of her career. That being said, we are so excited for the things we have planned for 2017 - and to introduce you to our new member! We wish Lisa the best in everything she has planned and thank her for being part of our journey. We are so proud of the music we created with her but also extremely excited for the new music we can bring to you guys very soon".

FORMER Hollyoaks star Abi Phillips had her
singing dreams dashed on The Voice UK after
none of the coaches turned around for her.
She was left
near to tears after none of the coaches pressed their buzzers
Viewers of the
hit ITV show were furious when she failed to get through on Saturday night.
Some voiced
their anger on Twitter, with one writing: “The judges were silly for not
turning!”
Another
tweeted: “She was great, I can’t believe they didn’t turn.”
After her
performance, Jennifer Hudson hinted
she wished she’d pressed her buzzer to get the actress through to the next
stage.
Her co-star Gavin Rossdale wasn’t so sure however,
telling Tom Jones: “I loved the song but we need the next level.”
The Voice UK
has seen previous mixed fortunes for country music acts:
Sam Hollyman, the talented up and coming British singer/songwriter who had a 3-week #1 on the Hotdisc British & Irish chart failed to win over the judges on The Voice in April 2013 when the then 17-year old “Stafford singing sensation” fell at the first hurdle in the TV talent show when judges Jessie J, Will.i.am, Sir Tom Jones and Danny O’Donoghue didn’t warm to his rendition of Elton John’s >> ‘Your Song’.

country and western music and progressed as a finalist in the last Final 4.

(Say My Name)' (1.3 million views) on the Blind Auditions 4 and was successful
when coach Danny O'Donoghue turned but then she eventually lost out to fellow contestant
Abi Sampa in the battle rounds 3 singing Emeli Sandé's >> "Heaven".
Laura has since become the British Country Music Awards Female Vocalist in 2015
& 2016. It was a Country versus Folk battle ground when TEAM TOM’s Talia Smith and Folk

Speaking ahead of her February Voice UK performance, Abi said: “I really enjoyed Hollyoaks and really did appreciate it but I didn’t love it as much as my music. “And I kind of felt like it was time to try and do the thing I really love doing.
“I’ve been working
so hard to do my music for such a long time. “I’d really love to prove to
myself that I was right to follow my heart and do something I love and leave
acting behind. “I just really hope that that was the right choice.”
