Bobby Osborne at Bonnaroo CLICK to ENLARGE |
As reported in The
Tennessean, The Nashville Scene, The Bluegrass Situation and more, Bobby Osborne was a highlight of
Bonnaroo when he made a surprise appearance as the special guest of Ed
Helms for his annual Bluegrass Superjam. Bobby dueted with up
and coming Americana star, Lillie Mae on two of his hits
"Once More" and "Beneath Still Waters" and then
led the crowd and a cast of all-stars, including Helms, bandleader Bryan
Sutton and members of Greensky Bluegrass and Mandolin
Orange in a rousing rendition of "Rocky Top".
Bobby's
new album, ORIGINAL, debuted at #12 on the Billboard
Bluegrass chart (dated June 24, 2017) last week and the song "They Call the Wind Maria"
made it's way back to the #1 spot on the Bluegrass Today radio chart.
As Bobby himself said after
coming off the stage at Bonnaroo, "What's next?!"
