LADY
ANTEBELLUM’S YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR SHOWS OFF “A NEW SPRING
IN THEIR STEP” WITH LAUNCH OVER MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND
Trio
Returns to the Road with New Sounds, Big Production and A Fresh Twist
NASHVILLE, TN - May 30, 2017
Multi-PLATINUM
trio Lady Antebellum returns
"to the touring circuit this summer with a whole new spring in their
collective step" (The Sacramento Bee), after launching
their 65-city YOU LOOK GOOD WORLD TOUR with special
guests Kelsea Ballerini and Brett Young on the West Coast this past weekend
(Bakersfield, CA, 5/26, Mountain View, CA, 5/27, Wheatland, CA, 5/28). Dave
Haywood, Charles Kelly and Hillary Scott "used their renewed energy to
fearlessly try some new sounds" (The Californian), as
they aligned No. One hits and songs from the forthcoming sixth studio
album HEART BREAK, available June 9th, with "big
production and sound" (OC Register) along with
"a fresh twist with the addition of a live horn section" (CMT).
"We
were jumping out of our skin to get back on that stage and I can tell you we
have not had that much fun in a really long time," said Kelley. “With this
new music, we set out to bring one of the biggest touring productions we have
ever had and the fans responded. Everything feels great and our fans really
showed up this weekend. If that’s any indicator for the rest of the summer,
this tour is going to be one we remember forever!"
As Lady
Antebellum has "long been a dependable live act" (Taste Of
Country), their "big swingin’ single" (OC
Register) “You Look Good” brought fans to their feet each night
featuring their new touring band that now includes two horn players. Notable
moments this weekend from Entertainment Weekly and Rolling
Stone’s “must-see summer tour” also included the trio blending their
harmonies on “Midnight Rider" in honor of Gregg Allman, along with a
special rendition of Scott's GRAMMY award-winning No. One hit, "Thy
Will."
The
seven-time Grammy award winning trio will bring their "renewed
energy" (People) to 65 shows across six countries,
including South Africa for the first time. HEART BREAK follows more than 18
million units, nine No. One hits, ACM and CMA "Vocal Group of the Year”
trophies three years in a row, and countless other honors including Billboard
Music Awards, People’s Choice Awards and Teen Choice Awards.
