"To find a song like this that speaks to who we are, why we do what we do and why we’re here, with honesty and a huge dose of real life, is incredibly humbling and moving!” states Larry Stewart. “At this moment in time, we couldn’t have found a more perfect song for Richie, Tim and myself to sink our hearts into. Because I do not believe we would be where we are today, if it wasn’t for the radio. Truly a gift!"
"Over the past few years I’ve been honored to share the stage with Larry Stewart and Tim Rushlow as we perform our hit songs from our respective bands, having the opportunity to record a song like 'If It Wasn’t For The Radio' with these artists takes it to another level.” Richie McDonald states. “This song was perfect for The Frontmen to record, with each of us singing a verse and a chorus and lending three part harmonies just sends it over the top. We all three relate to this song and the story that it tells, I think that’s what makes it so special"
"The Frontmen are definitely special. There is a common thread that runs through us and our catalog of songs and I am honored to share the stage with these two amazing singers," says Tim Rushlow. "From multiple global tours performing for our military in Japan, Afghanistan, Spain, Greece, Kuwait, Bahrain, Germany, Italy, Cuba, Africa and on several aircraft carriers in the Persian Gulf - to shows across America for our fans from Kansas City, to Cerritos, California to Gulfport, Mississippi - it is always humbling when the people sing our songs back to us, never missing a lyric. That is simply because radio has embraced us and the music we have all made over the years. Radio is why we’ve had these amazing careers. So, it is entirely fitting that we finally get to record a great song from the heart and give a nod of thanks in their direction."
Radio programmers are excited about the new single with veterans weighing in with praise for the single:
"Take three of the greatest voices in country music, add them to a brilliantly written song, sprinkle in some glorious harmony, and you get "If It Wasn't For The Radio." Don't overthink it, just PLAY IT!" states Tom Baldrica, Corporate Country Brand Strategist / Midwest Communications
“Like a well-blended cocktail, using only the finest ingredients, The Frontmen deliver a smooth and tasty groove with an infectious hook, and a real country song. ‘"If It Wasn't For The Radio"’ is what country listeners are starving for and they deserve to hear this awesome tune!
