Lovely Bournemouth based artiste Helena Mace will be releasing her
10-track album CHASING DREAMS album
on 12 March.
She again turned to Matt Black (Hangover Hill
Recording Studio; Website) based
in Bournemouth to produce this fresh project.
This is her follow up to the November
2016 released album WASH AWAY THE YEARS, which drew received rave
reviews from radio presenters, fans and the Industry.
The politely well-spoken Helena has written the
complete album less one score “Gothic
Lullaby” which was penned by her father.
Previously released singles have carried
forward but given renewed remastering treatment for the album.
Her music has featured on SKY TV via the Keep it Country TV channel and local BBC as well as numerous Inde
Radio stations and programmes.

The bookend track “Beautiful Mess” is something
a little different for Helena. She shares that song story relates to “bullying
and standing up and being proud of who you are regardless of what others say”.

has been working hard to get her music in front of people, grow a fanbase and
get some decent radio exposure.
Curator
of British Country Music Hall of Fame and inductee Jim Duncan (Former Wolvestock Festival promoter; radio presenter on
Wolverhampton’s 101.8 WCRfm “The
station for Wolverhampton”) spoke with Helena in a phone interview on Thurs December
14th. She introduced herself to listeners and talked about her song writing
experience, exposure to the country scene and what attracted her to the genre.

FM ("Passionately
Portsmouth", broadcasting across Portsmouth and the South Coast) on Sunday
25th February to do a lovely live session for Russell Hill's Country Music Show (Facebook Page; broadcast
on FM every Sunday 12pm-3pm).
Helena spoke about her album, the launch and performed a few songs (including “Someone Else's Heartache”) live on air. Russell gave a shout out to Ken Meakin who he described as “one of the finest promoters in the country”, who was helped to promote Mace’s music and her social media presence.

Roger Peck on the British
Country Music Show spoke to Helena on the phone on snowy March 1st. It was
first broadcast on CMR Nashville (“Europe’s
#1 Country Station”) on Thursday March 8. The show is also relayed on Edinburgh
Country Music Radio Website Thursday
8pm to 10pm repeated Saturday 12am to 2am. Rogers aim is to help promote modern
British artists.

Country iTunes Singles Chart Debut #130 and steadily climbed to #44 during it 2 day exposure on the top
200.
Additionally, it reached No.1 on Q108 Canadian Inde chart (Website), No 25 on the
unsigned chart and received rave reviews from the critics and the public.
On Sept 29, 2017 she
self-released the single “I Chose You” (Amazon UK – UK iTunes) on October
17 it reached #52 on UK Country
iTunes.
On Dec 15, 2017 Helena officially issued her Country/ Indie & Alternative release, "Strangers" (writer: Helena Mace; Guitar – Helena Mace; Keys and Production – Matt Black), which was the 3rd single and track 2 on the new album CHASING DREAMS. Strangers is a Winter Country/Folk style ballad which was released for the busy Christmas market.
The new album is a Country themed album which
will have a release date of early 2018 in time for her launch show in March.
