One’s we Like
Lily Garland’s song “I’m Coming Home” (writers: Lily Garland, Justin Johnson, Adam Sweet) was released as a single 24 April 2017.
I’m Coming Home with its a warm soulful vocal and whirlwinds of energy and attack takes
no prisoners and was drawn from Lily’s 5-track second EP, THE NEXT CHAPTER (released 16 June 2017) which soared to #5 in the
iTunes country chart.
The project drew on experiences Lily had
gone through herself such as break up, finding yourself, finding the wrong guy
(and then the right guy) and being a mother.
CHART SUCCESS: I’m Coming Home was
promoted on Hotdisc June 2017 #222 promotional disc. It made a debut
at No.15 on the Hotdisc Top 40 chart
(Dated June 11, 2017). It spent 8-weeks on the chart
(15-12-9-9-11-10-12-21) and climbed to No.9
(chart dated July 2, 2017) with a #2 peak
on the Hotdisc British & Irish Chart.
Hotdisc services over 700 DJs
and media in Europe with brand new music for their shows and
attention. Those contacts who receive Hotdisc in physical or digital
format score each of the tracks from 1 to 10 and give feedback comment
and offer critique.
“There
is little doubt that Lily Garland is a rising force on the UK country scene.
Her first EP was simply brilliant, but it is more than clear that Lily has
raised her game. ‘The Next Chapter’ sees Lily with a range of songs and a
confidence of delivery that will surely take her to the next level” Nick Cantwell, Belles and Gals

Velvet
and Stone “Raise Your Ghosts”
Velvet & Stone are an
indie folk band from Devon, UK.
“What Raise Your Ghosts (iTunes; tagged Singer-Songwriter/Folk) and Embers shows is that the band have become a little more polished, a little less raw, but just as enthralling. Their folk roots are still very much on display, but it is mixed with a fantastic indie sound. Lara's vocals have always been a focal point, and they are just as gorgeous and filled with warmth as always.
The band do more than just support her voice though, and these songs soar” - Fatea Records
“One of our favourite records of the year. Trust me on this one. Velvet & Stone are superb”. (James Santer, BBC Introducing In Devon)
Velvet & Stone, released their EP 'EMBERS' on 13th October 2017! The
four-track EP, recorded at Cube Recording in Cornwall, is the second EP
released by the band who celebrated the release at a launch party at the Bike
Shed Theatre Cocktail Bar in Exeter on 13th October 2017 followed by a string
of dates around the South West. The new EP features acclaimed cellist Caroline
Lavelle [Radiohead; Massive Attack; Muse; Loreena McKennit; Afro Celt Sound
System], and producer/ engineer Gareth Young on percussion across all of the
tracks.
