American Music Awards 2018 – Country Winners & Fashion


Taylor Swift wins Big
Kane Brown and Florida Georgia Line led the list of country nominees at this year's show, with three nods each
Brown snags all three of the awards for which he was nominated.
FGL and Carrie Underwood also earned 2018 trophies.























Country acts Florida Georgia Line, Thomas Rhett, Kelsea Ballerini, and Kane Brown were all tapped to present during the "2018 American Music Awards." The crowd were on their feet as Gladys Knight took the stage to kick things off with a rendition of "Amazing Grace." It was perfection. Donnie McClurkin, CeCe Winans, Ledisi and Mary Mary also performed and brought down the house.

Taylor Swift took home Artist of the Year at the AMAs, making her the only female artist to have won 22.
Swift beat Whitney Houston's record of 21.
Earlier in the night, Swift took home the awards for Favorite Album, Pop/Rock and Favorite Tour of the Year. Lenny Kravitz presented Swift with the coveted award.



The American Music Awards paid tribute to Aretha Franklin, the late Queen of Soul, at the closing of their show on Tuesday night.

Carrie Underwood took the 2018 American Music Awards stage Tuesday night (Oct. 9). The singer — visibly pregnant with her second child — donned a billowing red gown to deliver a rendition of "Spinning Bottles," a song lamenting the challenges substance abuse and addiction, drawn from her new Billboard 200 No1. album, CRY PRETTY.
Underwood, who had already wowed the Los Angeles crowd with a striking, curve-hugging red carpet look that celebrated her pregnancy, moved amid a set filled with glass bottles and lit candles as she sang the melancholy song, which is the ninth track on her latest release. Underwood co-wrote the song with David Garcia and Hillary Lindsey.
