A new Alexa skill from platinum-selling recording artist Brett Eldredge launched today, giving fans the opportunity to interact with the award-winning country artist via their home virtual assistant, just in time for the holiday season.
'Brett Eldredge’s Christmas Countdown' is an
interactive voice skill, set to complement Eldredge’s popular and critically
acclaimed Christmas album GLOW. The
recently released 'Glow' Deluxe features five brand-new tracks that include “Do
You Hear What I Hear,” “Silver Bells,” “Sleigh Ride,” “A
Holly Jolly Christmas,” and “Christmas Time Is Here.”
Here are some OTHER things you can ask Brett:
- Alexa, ask Brett Eldredge's Christmas Countdown what's up?

Once the skill has been enabled, fans can use the
voice prompt “Alexa, open Brett Eldredge’s Christmas Countdown” to engage
with Eldredge – asking him questions about the 'Glow' production process, his
favorite Christmas songs, his inspiration for recording a Christmas album and
more. Additionally, Amazon Echo
users will be able to quiz Eldredge about his upcoming tour dates and the story
behind individual tracks.
Perhaps most notably, the skill offers fans an unparalleled insight into their favorite artist’s daily life with its “Gratitude Journal” feature. As part of this, each day from December 15 through January 1, Eldredge will read subscribers an exclusive entry from his personal gratitude journal – something he has often cited as a valuable tool for practicing mindfulness.
“With the release of this latest voice skill, we’re
ushering in a new era of fan engagement,” said Chad Schultz, Warner Music
Nashville’s VP Radio & Streaming, Marketing. “Fans increasingly crave an
intimate and authentic connection that extends beyond the music – voice
technology represents a powerful opportunity for artists like Brett to satisfy
this demand and reach broad audiences.”
“It’s no secret that Brett Eldredge loves Christmas, and we’re delighted to help fans experience the magic of the holiday season with him,” said Ben Fisher, CEO of voice consultancy Magic + Co., who worked closely with Warner Music Group ("WMG") to develop the skill. “We believe that voice technology will shape the future of the entertainment industry. Our ongoing partnership with WMG is not only driving more meaningful artist-fan interactions, but also enabling musicians such as Eldredge to position themselves firmly at the forefront of this nascent trend.”
