They are among the youngest performers to play the world-famous Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Their debut single, Fine, charted in the Top 40 on US Country Radio. Their incredible and energetic live performances feature new original songs produced by Grammy Award nominated producer, Gavin Brown.

Rochester Cathedral is the last venue on their 19 stop Sounds Good To Me US/UK tour. They last played at the Cathedral in 2017 where they wowed the audience with their combination of blue grass, country and folk/pop-rock.  Don’t miss this chance to see this world class act who have been described by American folk singer Arlo Guthrie as ‘way too young to be playing that good.’

The Abrams will be supported by local singer-songwriters Jonica Love and Rachel Lowrie.

COMPLETECOUNTRY.CA exclusively premiered this brand new song produced by Matt Rovey (Zac Brown Band + Alan Jackson). The video was shot in Hamilton, ON at Stardust Records in March 2019 by filmmaker Christopher Warre Smets who has previously worked with The Strumbellas. The video has a vintage feel, as it follows a couple who have a meet-cute at the record store with John and James of The Abrams serving as their narrator, with their song "Sounds Good To Me!" When asked about the meaning behind the song The Abrams explain how it, "is all about the little things. The real and honest things. The simple moments in life that end up being everything we live for, especially with the people we love.”
The Abrams have embarked on a 6-week US tour, with a short UK visit before they return to Canada for summer festivals including Boots and Hearts and Boot Hill Country Jamboree

Biography
It’s hard for John and James Abrams to recall a time in their young lives where they weren’t creating and playing music together. As fourth-generation musicians, The Abrams took the “family business” to a whole new level signing to Warner Music Canada and major label 6-track self-titled debut EP (releaed May 20, 2016).

The Abrams is a departure from their earlier work, spurred by Gavin Brown – the Juno award-winning and Grammy nominated producer.

Brown (Billy Talent, Metric, Three Days Grace) took it as a personal challenge to bring out the best in The Abrams and introduce them to a broader audience.

The resulting EP does indeed make an indelible first impression, yet is only a taste of what The Abrams and Brown have created together. Knowing now what they can accomplish in the studio, and how to translate that to the stage, The Abrams are fully prepared to take a place alongside Canada’s best-known country music stars…… Read more www.theabramsmusic.com
