Music City Beer Co. is filling that void by introducing their flagship beer, Music City Light, a refreshing, great tasting, flavorful light beer that bridges the gap between heavy, craft beers and mass-produced domestics. Made by a NASHVILLE Gold Medal winning brewer, Music City Light will be found throughout downtown and Nashville’s entertainment corridors. Starting the week of November 21, Music City Light can be enjoyed in honky-tonks, bars and restaurants such as Tootsies, Honky Tonk Central, The Stage, Legends, Wildhorse Saloon, Tin Roof, Loser’s, Winner’s, Doc Hollidays and more.

Founded by prominent Nashville bar owners Quinn O'Sullivan and Jon Robb with Amy Millslagle (Proctor & Gamble, Dow Chemical Company) serving as CEO, Music City Beer Co., leverages the iconic Nashville Music City branding and prominent red note so as to provide another unique platform to grow Nashville’s reputation both locally and outside of Music City.

Music City Beer Co. plans to partner with the Nashville music community in the form of a monthly artist and songwriter endorsement program. The beer will provide a platform to both heritage acts and emerging acts in a unique way that hasn’t been seen before. Phil Vassar serves as the inaugural MCL artist, which coincides with his upcoming album release, American Soul. Music City Light will feature custom commemorative Phil Vassar American Soul 6-packs available to consumers for a limited time. Music City Beer will also be releasing videos to promote the city while highlighting music from some of Nashville’s greats. The first songs featured include “American Soul” (Phil Vassar & Tom Douglas), “Day Drinking” (Shawn Lacy), and "I Love You Beer" (Charles Esten).

The ambitious future of Music City Beer Co. includes growth in Nashville and beyond.

Nashville tourists and locals will find Music City Light commemorative take away packs and merchandise at its very own store, operated by the Hudson Group, in BNA’s Terminal C in late 2016/early 2017.

Music City Light will also be available for consumption in numerous BNA bars in early 2017.

By the spring of 2017, Music City Light hopes to be in 300 + Nashville locations including restaurants and bars, Gaylord attractions, Bridgestone Arena, and local grocery and convenience stores. Ultimately, Music City Light anticipates being available in 2500+ establishments by 2019.
