Singer-songwriter and Former MTV’s The Real World star Davis Mallory has
released a holiday single, “Box It Up.”
The track, co-written with
Clayton Jones of Madison Letter and produced by Josh Sudduth of
Relient K, is paired with a music video and can be viewed:
“We
filmed in September with the Nashville Film Institute’s Zachary Layman and Blake Guidry in Thompson Station and East Nashville,” said
Mallory. “I wrote ‘Box It Up’ just after Christmas, so the theme of
wanting the spirit to linger came naturally.”
Mallory came to
Nashville in 2013 to focus on his songwriting. In 2014, he released “Beautiful
Girls (Diem’s Song),” a tribute to his Real World co-star, Diem Brown,
who passed from cancer that year.
