NASHVILLE, Tenn.
– When chart-topping country duo Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay
Mooney) sat down with songwriter friends Jon Nite and Justin Ebach to write a
song inspired by the Lionsgate original motion picture, The Shack,
as well as Shay’s impending fatherhood, “When I Pray For You” practically
wrote itself. In celebration of the The Shack's March
3 nationwide release, the Platinum-selling pair will perform the
emotionally charged ballad on NBC’s TODAY on
Wednesday morning, after attending the film’s New York premiere the evening
before.
Based on The
New York Times best-selling novel, The Shack opens in
theaters nationwide on Friday, March 3.

Tim McGraw Appears On 'Good Morning America'
Tim McGraw appeared on ABC-TV's "Good Morning AMERICA" on Tuesday Morning (Feb 28). He
discussed his upcoming "SOUL2SOUL THE WORLD TOUR 2017" with wife
FAITH HILL as well as the song they recorded, "Keep Your Eyes On Me,"
for the film "The Shack,"
in which MCGRAW stars.
But it was his wifey Faith Hill who took centre stage at the film's world premiere held
at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City on Tuesday Feb 28, 2017. The
49-year-old “This Kiss” country songstress dazzled in a plunging Moniquel Huillier Spring 2017 silver sequinned coat dress which showcased her enviable
figure. Although it was lined she cunningly gave the impression that it was sheer
piece by placing her hands in the pockets (Getty Image). The velvet waistband offered
and added extra depth to the below the knee silhouette and she added matching
t-ar sandals. She flashed a hint of cleavage in the low-cut number which also
gave a glimpse of her slender pins.
Her signature silky blonde tresses were styled straight and parted down the centre for a dramatic look.
The Mississippi-born beauty rounded out her evening
attire with large vintage diamond earrings and rhinestone-encrusted strappy
stilettos. McGraw, 49, was polished
to perfection in a fitted dark suit with white buttoned-up shirt, lustrous
silver necktie and brown leather dress shoes.
Also in attendance at the star-studded affair was
Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer,
44. The Hidden Figures star, who plays Papa in the film, looked chic in a black
blazer which included leather striping and matching trousers
Fashion designer Rachel Roy, 43, donned a black and white number with fuzzy red and
black coat (Image) Read More & Pics at Daily Mail
Also in attendance were Grammy & CMA award
winning singer songwriters Lori McKenna
(Getty Image) who wore a
knee high black dress overlayered with embroidered/ lace detailing adding
fishnets and open toe black booties. Shane
McAnally (Getty Image) kept it simple
with a monochromatic attire with an open neck shirt. Dan Smyers looked slick in a dark suit with white lining on the
lapels and crisp white button down whilst Shay
Mooney looked casual in round neck T-shirt and textured burgundy jacket
adding shiny black shoes.
